For over a year, a survivor and friend has been trying to get me to look into what she calls LHS’s, or Lingering Human Spirits. For whatever reason, I could not make headway with that information on my own. But as we all know, if God wants us to do something, he’ll make a way for us to figure it out, and so it was for me.
In perfect God fashion, He also combined this introduction to Lingering Human Spirits with an introduction to the Temple Ordinances of the Mormon Church, which as it turned out I also didn’t understand at all, probably because their secrecy is, like in the broader occult, very tightly wielded around what happens in a Mormon Temple.

So, Lingering Human Spirits and Mormon Temple Ordinances now go together in a way I didn’t anticipate. This post, and the next post on Temple Ordinances, will culminate in my a-ha moment that connects the two in a way that I can only hope will–in a practical way–help tear down the occult. For the first few years of writing this blog people asked me all the time “What can I do” to help? And I had very few ideas. But what the practical aspect of LHS’s presents is a way for everybody, regardless of any circumstances, to further the kingdom of God and tear down the resources of Satan’s kingdom on earth.
As I understand it, LHS’s are the spirits of human beings. They’re not demons, or demonic spirits, or little chicken spirits, or Rephaim. They are literally the spirits of human beings who have not yet gone to be with the Father in Heaven. They are lingering because they are still stuck in the 2nd heaven,1 which as defined by some is the spiritual overlay that coexists with the earth realm. Likewise, they are located in the same spirit overlay of earth that a ghost would be caught in, for example. Both a ghost and a lingering human spirit can attach themselves to the land, the earth. A ghost seems to be more of an independent entity with a visible body form and a spirit as well. A lingering human spirit doesn’t seem to be visible like a ghost can. Ghosts don’t seem to attach or embed themselves inside a living human being, whereas LHS’s can do both attach and/or embed.2
Other terms for LHS’s include Ancestral Human Spirits, or Alien Human Spirits. Arthur Burk coined the term Alien Human Spirits, and I’m not sure of the origin of Ancestral Human Spirits. Essentially, the three terms all refer to human spirits that have not yet passed into the heavenly realm occupied by God.
Some people seem to acquire more lingering human spirits than others. The way it was explained to me is that if you are a “bright light”, a Christian, you’re attractive to some lingering human spirits. If they’re looking for their way Home to the Father, perhaps they can’t find it themselves, so the next best thing is a good living human host. Popular human hosts can house thousands of LHS’s. Being a host for an LHS might not be your preference, and you might not know it’s even happened to you. Escorting Lingering Human Spirits home is a liberating experience, at least it was for me.
There are two books written by Dr. Ron Horner regarding LHS’s. The first is titled Lingering Human Spirits, Unraveling the Mystery, and the second Unraveling More of the Mystery. Dr. Horner has a Courts of Heaven ministry, and has written over 30 books on engaging in the courts of heaven. But dealing with Lingering Human Spirits doesn’t take work in a heavenly court, they can be escorted to Jesus without anything much more complicated than prayer.
Here’s an interesting story from his book to illustrate a bit about what LHS’s are.
One moral of the above story is: Don’t marry a dead guy. Necromancy is not beneficial. Another takeaway is that human spirits who have not “stepped into heaven” can cause significant challenges for living humans. This is a monumental thought, a terrific problem that I’ve never heard of or encountered anywhere else before. What if these lingering human spirits are causing you trouble in your life that you’re not aware of? It sure seems like a possibility, even if you’ve never done something so very reckless as marrying a dead guy’s spirit.

Demons, Unclean Spirits and Evil Spirits
Dr. Horner distinguishes between three kinds of Biblical spirits in doing this work. Demons are different from unclean spirits, which are different from evil spirits in his experience.
Demons are demons, says Dr. Horner, with a “position on some level in the realms of heaven.” They are followers of Lucifer, they are fallen from heaven. They took Lucifer’s promises as real, and got duped, essentially.
In Acts 7:59, Stephen, as he was being stoned, cried out “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” This would be an example of a human spirit.
On Pg. 31 of his first book, Dr. Horner describes “evil spirits” as LHS’s who have a “demonic assignment.” in the world.
Pg. 35 delineates “unclean spirits” as being originally written in Greek as akathartos, translated as “foul” and is a term used to distinguish between the Holy Spirit and other spirits. Matthew 12:43 reads “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man….” and then delineates how it wanders the earth, finding other unclean spirits, and they dwell in the “house from which I (the unclean spirit) came.” Understanding this as a human spirit that is not ready to go to God (3rd heaven), but also not going immediately to hell, either, makes sense.
Revelation 18:2 also distinguishes demons from other kinds of spirits “She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit,” which some understand to be impure (human) spirits.
All of these definitions are here to say, not all indwelling spirits are demons, and however you describe them, there are Biblical passages with interpretations that allows Lingering Human Spirits to be a real thing here on earth. Jesus rebukes the demons, but not all spirits are demons, and so this common misconception may be fueling the wrong solution for a problem. If you rebuke a “demon” but it doesn’t go away, perhaps it’s not a demon spirit that you’re dealing with.

LHS’s and the Guest Registry
Dr. Horner has worked with the Courts of Heaven for many years. In the heavens, he states that there are Guest Registries, the names of spirits that had visited individuals or families. He noted that in doing LHS release work to escort human spirits into 3rd Heaven that the names of the human spirit guests “simply disappeared from the registry,” as if the name hadn’t ever been there to begin with.
Is working with LHS’s considered Necromancy?
The definition of necromancy doesn’t fit the process of escorting LHS’s to 3rd heaven.
Just because it’s not technically necromancy doesn’t mean that individuals practicing the occult aren’t interested in LHS’s. In discussing LHS with Dr. Horner recently, he assures me that he’s encountered covens of witches deliberately coercing LHS into doing nefarious work for them. LHS do not come into an area with the same fear factor that demons do, so they can infiltrate a home or attach or embed in a person without causing an emotional reaction that gives away their presence.
LHS’s and Illness
Sudden allergy attacks or physical changes in the body might be clues that there are LHS’s lingering. For myself, I had a profound change in the pain and irritation part of my body that had been giving me trouble for quite a while. It has completely resolved, from the day of the first LHS session.
LHS’s can also cause symptoms of Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and other emotional illnesses in the people they inhabit. (pers. comm)
Amanda Buys recounts a story of a client of hers who was watching a robot movie, and the individual watching felt something–some sort of consciousness–transfer from the movie to them. It could have been a piece of the human who made the movie, or a piece of a Rephaim, or even a lingering human spirit, she says. (CS 094)
Procedure for Freedom from LHS’s
The video I have put at the end of the article called “Lingering Human Spirits, the Hidden Cause of PTSD (etc.)” goes through an example session, starting out with prayer and repentance, then having angels open a silver portal and invite Lingering Human Spirits to go to God, then closing the silver portal. (Note, this isn’t a human doing witchcraft opening a portal, these are angels opening a portal with the understanding that it will be used briefly to escort LHS’s to God.)
There are also written procedures by other individuals that I can provide by email if you’re interested, but I do recommend if you want to engage in LHS removal for yourself and your home, that you do it with someone the first time through.
Why is this post on a blog about Satanic Ritual Abuse?
We’ve been told by numerous survivors that Lucifer is building an end-times army, so that he can bring demonic spirits into the heaven wherein he resides (which is called 3rd heaven, if you accept the definition of 2nd heaven). Those demonic spirits are being attached to humans on earth/1st heaven. Who’s to say that they aren’t also attaching them to human spirits in 2nd heaven?
The work of Dr. Horner with LHS’s indicate that they have the ability to go through the gates that lead to (3rd) heaven. This is my opinion only, but from the way I see it, demonic spirits could attach to lingering human spirits as well as to actual humans with their spirits and souls living and present on 3D earth.
Escorting lingering human spirits to 3rd heaven possibly reduces the human spirits available for demonic spirits to attach to and make it through the portals/spiritual gates to heaven. It literally could demolish the possibility for Satan to create an army in the 2nd Heaven.
So often in the first few years of this blog I was asked “What can I do to help.” No other idea that I’ve ever been presented with answers that question like this does: escort LHS’s Home to God. This is a tangible, beneficial thing to do, both for yourself, for the stuck LHS’s, and quite possibly, as a direct affront to Satan’s efforts at building human armies, both on earth and in the spirit world.
In an email back to me, Dr. Horner has indicated that if you are interested in doing LHS work, he has a team of coaches who do advocacy sessions and all of his coaches can help with LHS issues. You’ll find differing opinions on trapped human spirits. Jessie Czebotar has said that she “doesn’t believe in ghosts,” and that she doesn’t “believe that our souls get trapped here on Earth, if we choose not to follow the white light, you know, all of the spirits that I have encountered in haunted places, were demonic spirits.” (DO 20623) She’s talking about souls and spirits as if they were the same, but they aren’t. Human spirits might not be viewable in the 2nd heaven realm like demonic spirits are. Or perhaps the gift of seeing demonic spirits doesn’t extend to seeing human spirits. Whatever the case may be, survivors often differ in their opinions on varying subjects, and this might be an agree-to-disagree situation.
The FourMinutestoGod channel video on LHS’s that I’ve linked at the end of this article suggests, indeed, that some can see LHS’s and some cannot. The speaker in that video says that his wife could view LHS’s as they went to 3rd heaven, whereas he could not.
Take this information as you will. As always, I don’t expect everybody to have the same opinion or views that I do, and I present all this information on the off chance that it can only help, not hurt.
That said… Could it Hurt?
In conversation with a high-level survivor about LHS’s, she indicated to me that human spirits, like souls, can be fragmented or fractured “in extreme occult bondage”, as she put it to me. However, this isn’t to say that the human spirit is lost in that fragmentation “God always holds back & preserves His created part of it & essence (keeping it pure).” I hold this individual’s opinion in as high regard as I hold other high-level survivor’s opinions and experiences.
In agreement with my survivor friend, Dan Duval says that there is evidence he has encountered and Biblical backup to substantiate that both the soul and the spirit can be fragmented.
If the human spirit can be fragmented, that brings up the question: Does escorting LHS’s to 3rd heaven mean that it’s possible that some of the LHS’s that are being escorted are spirit fragments, and not entire, whole spirits? If escorting fragmented spirits to 3rd heaven is possible, would that harm the living human being on earth? I honestly don’t know the answer. I would be inclined to trust in God that He can make a human whole, and that an individual engaged in a healing process on planet earth can, indeed, call their spirit fragments (as well as soul fragments) back to earth, back to themselves, with His help, from whatever realm, dimension or other location they might be. As my friend put it, God preserves. I would add that he heals as well, and if the spirit fragments make it to his 3rd heaven domain, that he can heal them and make them whole again.

Hello. Welcome to four minutes closer to God. My name is Doug. Wanted to continue in the discussion of lingering human spirits, and so the idea that there are spirits who can linger after their passing from the physical form, comes across in the movie Ghost, where the character Sam wheat has died by murder, and he comes back to help his fiance solve that murder through Otome, who is a hearer, a seance fake who then actually can hear Sam wheat tell her stuff and pass that on to the fiance. And so the idea that a ghost could be a human spirit that has returned goes against a lot of principles in the Bible. And so we have generally understood that demons would masquerade as humans, and so that would be the ghost from a Christian perspective, but people who have engaged in spiritual warfare evicting demonic forces from a person by exorcism and other just authority, they have come against things that make it difficult to understand as demonic And so in doing their own exploration and experimentation on these intransigent beings that are attached somehow or invading a person who is coming for this spiritual warfare. They came to the idea this would be by way of Arthur Burke or Dan Duvall, in my understanding, they’ve come to understand that there are lingering human spirits. Arthur Burke would call them alien human spirits that can attach to a person, and so they may be found in abundance in hospitals, graveyards, battlefields and then other places where you’re walking along and a lingering human spirit can, for some reason or another, attach itself to a person. And so they have different ways of manifesting, and these manifestations can work in conjunction with demons and other types of Dark Forces, and so the lingering human spirit doesn’t haunt a place as much as in the sense that we would see a ghost, an apparition, a Phantasm, those sorts of things, but we do get the sense that they can be present, say, in a hospital and a battlefield. I live near the Manassas battlefield and have prayed for the release of alien or lingering human spirits to have them return to eternity, by way of one means, is opening up a silver channel for them to go. Well, I said the prayer and did all the things that I knew to do, and have no idea if anything came of it, I didn’t sense anything different, but my wife, when praying in the hospital one time, and this time only, was able to see adults and children taking advantage of this Silver channel that was open and so lingering human spirits are a possibility, but it’s not something represented in the Bible in such a strong way that everybody would understand it. So pray the blood of Jesus and cover yourself with His grace.

It’s time for a shift, a shift in our thinking. Have you ever thought you thoroughly understood something only to find out that you were sorely mistaken? Today, I want to talk to you about lingering human spirits and how it affects the those that are in the front line, especially those that are in the military, EMS, people, hospitals, funeral directors, etc, and what you can do about it. Now. Have you ever walked into a room and felt a heavy presence that you couldn’t explain, or maybe you’ve carried an invisible weight, physically or emotionally, emotionally or spiritually, after years of serving and war, working in a hospital, attending funerals, miscarried or had an abortion or been around the dead. Sometimes after these experiences, people change overnight and new behaviors, strange preferences, mysterious illnesses the doctors cannot explain lights flicker, appliances act up, and no one believes you. If this sounds familiar, it may not just be stress or PTSD. I repent for sins committed knowingly and unknowingly including idolatry, rebellion, unforgiveness, sexual sin, occult involvement, witchcraft, blood rituals, dedications, oaths, vows to demons, water spirits, rebellion and all forms of disobedience against your word and against You, Lord, Your word says in First John one nine quote, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I ask that the blood of Jesus Christ now speak on my behalf, according to Hebrews 1224, and I forgive all those who have wronged me, and I release them from judgment, and I ask you to forgive me for harboring any bitterness, offense and judgment and unforgiveness in my heart. My bloodline made with darkness, I renounce them now in Jesus name, as it is written in Leviticus, 2640 quote, If they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, then I will remember my covenant based on your word. I now bring my petition for deliverance, Father, Your Word promises freedom. Luke 418 says, quote, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me to proclaim liberty to the captives. Psalm 3417 says, quote, The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. Colossians, 113 says, quote, He has delivered us from the power of the of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of His Son of His love, Isaiah. 4924 through 25 says, quote. Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, for I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children. I ask that all demonic oppression, harassment and torment, operating due to the unresolved sin or legal rights now be revoked by the blood of Jesus and my confession. Let every demonic assignment be counseled. Let every legal right be overturned. Let every yoke of bondage be destroyed. Now, according to Isaiah 10:27, quote, The yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing where there has been fear, confusion, torment or cycles of affliction, I ask for your ruling in favor of freedom. Your word says John in John 836, quote, whom the Son sets free is free. Indeed, if there are any appeals placed beside this petition in the heavenly ledgers, I ask the court council to show them to me now, so we just wait and you can hear or some of you can see, some of you can sense. Let’s see what’s there. If there’s anything the enemy that He’s appealing against this petition,

I repent for anything that gave the enemy a basis to challenge this supplication, including lack of faith, which I am hearing some of you are have double mindedness. No, no faith. We repent for double mindedness. We repent for division. We repent for any unresolved sin, according to Amos three, three, I submit these to the cross, and I ask for a ruling that overturns the enemy’s appeal and establishes the verdict of liberty, healing and restoration. Let this be sealed by the blood of the Lamb and enforced by the angels assigned to your word according to Psalm 103, verse 20, and I, thank you, righteous judge for hearing my petition and receiving mine and our repentance, I thank you for the freedom purchased by the blood of Jesus, and I and we receive by faith the verdict of freedom and restoration. If there is nothing else, Your Honor, you request your verdict.

I granted. Thank you, Lord. And now we exit. Okay, now we’re dealing with the LHS. So now I now speak to the lingering human spirit in the people’s soul, body and spirit. And I say to you that the Lord Jesus Christ loves you, and he went to the cross of Calvary, he died and resurrected on the third day to pay the penalty for your sins and my sins. And what you need to do is ask him to forgive you of those sins and invite Him into your heart as your Lord and Savior. If you do that, you will be saved and no, it is not too late to do that. You can still do that, even those of you that are under captivity to a demon boss or demon guard, you too, can repent and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. So do that now, Father, I ask that you would send us the Enforcer deliverance angels with the chains and the bags. Now you demon bosses and demon guards. You must loosen these people now in the name of Jesus, because they’re asking forgiveness. Inviting the Lord to be their Savior. And Lord, you must lose them now. So lose them in the name of Jesus, your assignment is over. And I commissioned the Enforcer angels to bind and bag in time and out of time these demon voices and guards and take them to the abyss in the name of Jesus and I now open the silver portal, and Father, I ask for the escorting angels to come. I’m so sorry that your life ended on the earth. You can continue your destiny in heaven. Let’s just wait one second. I ask Father that You give the angels, the escorting angels in LHS spray, and nobody gets to hide. Okay, angels take the other chest. Is by the hand through the portal to the Father in Jesus name. Everybody goes now, out of all the realms of the people. You out of the brain, out of the spine, out of the extremities, out of the back, out of the spine, out of behind the kidneys, behind the lungs, behind the hips, the feet, joints, hands, eyes, out of every organ, out of every system, out of the soul, out of the outer parts of the Spirit. Any negative emotion as an act of say, say, repeat after me as an act of my will. I loosen from my soul, whatever it is, grief. I loosen from my soul, regret. I loosen from my soul, whatever, whatever emotion it is, whatever the Holy Spirit is pointing to. I ask Lord that you would break every tethering ungodly ties from the viewers, as lingering human spirits continue to leave them, their bodies, their soul, their spirit, in the name of Jesus.

And what you can do also is you can ask the Lord to create a a hotel or a reception area, and you can commission your angels to escort them to that hotel in the spirit or that reception area that they will not come to you the lingering woman spirits, they will go to that hotel. And then you go into that hotel, either in the morning or whenever you have a chance, and just tell them that the Lord loves them and that they need to repent, because he went the Lord went to the cross to save them, just like the Lord Jesus. It says in First Peter, I forget the chapter that he went down and preached to the souls that were there. They were dead already, and he preached the gospel to them. So just you, you tell them, you know the Lord loves you. He went to the cross, and what you need to do is ask him to forgive you, to come into your heart and be your Lord and Savior. If you do that, you will be saved, and you will be able to go to heaven and then ask the Father to send the escorting angels and open the silver portal and escort them through the portal. Now, if you’re watching this, but you’re not saved, well, this is the most important thing that you need to do. You need to do that. First, the Lord Jesus Christ said, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. And no one comes to the Father except they come through me. He is the way of salvation. There is no other way. The enemy has deceived many saying that there are other ways, but there are no other ways. They had to be the shedding of blood. Either our blood had to be shed or his blood, but our blood would not redeem us, because it needed to be a sinless substitute. That’s why they called the Lord Jesus the Lamb, because he was a substitute lamb. God that took our place to be saved, he had to pay a penalty for someone. Had to pay a penalty for our sins. And God the Father, was so merciful that He sent His only Son, the Lord Jesus, to take that place for us. And what we need to do is receive that gift, that sacrifice. Say, Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I recognize that, and I need you to be my savior. So would you come now and cleanse my sins with Your precious blood that you shed on calvary’s cross. And I invite you into my heart to be my Lord and Savior, put your spirit in me so that I can live for you until you call me home. Thank you, Lord. So if you did, if you said that prayer, congratulations and welcome to the family of God. Begin by reading the Scriptures, the Bible every day, and praying to Him to direct you to a good Bible Church where you can grow in in the things of God and and just worship him. Thank him.
