okay go live and it looks like we’re live already so we are rolling with the beautiful Amanda
buys thank you for being here again um how’s everything going in South Africa
well we have some interesting times you know we have the bricks going on at the
moment so yeah people are very concerned for what it’s
going to actually mean for the country right we it’s we’re not happy those that
know what’s going on and understand we’re not very happy at all so but I
must say people pray and um you know wherever there’s pray There’s Hope absolutely so we’ll see
what what God will yeah oh and so how How is how’s
everything going with your ministry good I’m just so happy to have a bit of
a rest yeah it was it was good in Zimbabwe um for many years I’ve been ministering
at the pre um at the pre-conference every year in Harare and um for the first time this year we
actually started to see breakthrough for the nation which you know what Zimbabwe was like you know they were they didn’t
have food and they were eating rats and all sorts of things it was it was very
sad to see but we arrived there in the place where we stayed was a little bit
outside of arori and we had to pass through a market it’s loaded it’s loaded with local
produce the land the the the the the fields of plowed and the water is
spraying they have so much water um huge Tomatoes huge pumpkins I mean so
there’s no reason for what’s going on it’s it’s absolutely amazing what is
going on this is the first time we’re seeing it you know we’ve been praying for the country for breakthrough and
every time it seemed to get worse and worse and worse and then this year there’s an abundance
yeah something happened that they can actually uh take to the country’s next
door because you know Zimbabwe was known as the Bread Basket of Africa so we were
praying many years ago we we went so we prayed with their intercessors and asked
God to restore that that anointing upon the land and this is the first time we actually
seen something happen Provo yeah it’s amazing well God is moving and I feel it
I had a wild dream it was so it’s so it was like a nothing dream and it’s very
bizarre because I was drinking milk but I was drinking it out of a bowl like I never drink milk out of a bowl it’s very
strange but you know how dreams are and somebody goes oh it’s raw milk is legal
now and there was just this feeling that washed over me like we’re free like the
poisons gone you know like we’re not being controlled anymore and it just it was a very hopeful like when I woke up I
was like oh that’s good I like it it’s like my my insides aren’t afraid they’re they’re hopeful for the future yeah very
bizarre though to drink about to dream about milk but when you think about milk and honey
yeah and it’s also not in a bottle yeah so it wasn’t in a glass it was it
was in like a bowl it was very strange yeah very strange but that’s how you
would look it’s true that’s that sounds good maybe I’m getting a cow
I don’t know and so so here here we are and I’m gonna
I’m gonna um I’m gonna tell people that I I requested this usually I’m like what are
we gonna do next and Amanda you know picked something or has something that’s on her heart or something that God wanted her to do and I had a really
horrifying experience with a woman and her Ministry and what was so ironic
about it is I learned so much from her I learned so much from her I learned
more from her in the tiny two hours we talked Then I then I do from you know
pastors I’ve read about or whatever unless it’s a really good book you know
a really good book written by a pastor but the reason I share this is because
even though she had this beautiful genius in this This brilliant
um message and she could Zone in she she had a religious spirit that was so mean
and and took offense to things and you know if I asked a question or if I did
something wrong in her in her group you know without her even knowing the rules I didn’t even know the rules and then
afterwards she called me very upset like how dare you do that in my group and I’m like what did I do
um and what I did was I I had um a joyful spirit and I think that
um it didn’t match the group and I was trying to be kind and lift up my fellow
man and share my own testimony like well this is what I did and instead of that I
got literally chastised for this and I even reached out to her the next
day you know just as a peace offering hey we had talked about this just to kind of feel her out and see and she
didn’t even reply to my email and I just I know that’s not a loving
spirit and she then proceeded to talk about me on her show like you know saying get behind me Serpent you know
you don’t like literally it shouldn’t say my name which to her credit thank goodness but but everyone and there’s
only 12 of people in the group at anyone that was in that group knew that she was talking about me
um but anyway the reason I share that is because I feel like you know Iron is
supposed to sharpen iron but when you use the law in the in the word of God as
an idol rather than the heart I feel like that’s where things have gone wrong and Amanda from you you were one of the
few women in Ministry that consistently delivers delivers kindly never asks for
anything and to me you have the heart and and I I really want you to share
with people your thought thoughts on a religious spirit because I I know that this woman I’m talking about was very
overtly um angry at the world I don’t know why I really don’t know
um but uh wait the two of us could have sharpened each other right my joy could
have uh helped with her Ministry if she would have allowed it
but she’s so busy with you know the suffering and the lowly and the the
which I I know it’s a piece of we have to carry our cross but to me it’s not
it’s not the the two Commandments that that God and it’s interesting because you and I haven’t talked about this so
you’re over here agreeing with me and um of course it’s me telling this story so I’m gonna I’m gonna be biased but um I
felt like if she and I could have continued a relationship she could have really sharpened me and I could have
sharpened her yeah yeah sad yeah it is I just I I really do trust
I think she’s so connected to God that I think he will
lead her in the right way if that makes sense and I do think that maybe someday I’ll hear from her I hope so I I’ve
actually prayed for that yeah that’ll be good yeah to bring peace yeah so I asked Amanda to
come on and share about religious spirits and we both are in agreement that it’s it’s so similar to the false
prophet um it is it is but I think it’s more sneaky more subtle yeah yeah absolutely
yeah really and uh we were really um digging our heels in and and looking
at the word and and you know looking at the scriptures and making sure that we
um you know take out the essence and the principles right um so that we don’t get lost in all the
detail and all of that so I I’ve got 10 points to share tonight so okay perfect
perfect and be blessed yeah all right and that sounds good it’s so sneaky you
know uh common that yeah you’re gonna you recognize certain things you know
habits or ways or thinking or whatever um and it’s just good to take it before the Lord because once you’ve heard a
message you’re accountable for that and I mean I’m preaching to myself too
you’re so good exactly so so it’s something we’ve just got to
take to the father and we know that Jesus hated you know hated it the scriptures we looked at he’s oh
hypocrisy was yeah and pride it’s a prideful it’s I know so much more than you do yes
wins yeah it’s yeah it’s such a horrible Spirit you know so rather get rid of it
so if I think it’s really dangerous and I think it is the very flying monkeys to
the pastor’s gaslighting if it’s a bad pastor yeah yeah yeah that’s right and
looking looking for arguments and looking for blame shifting and you know pointing fingers and I’m better then and
I have the anointing and you know things like that so I think there’s some good examples in
the word you know that we that we could lift out yeah yeah so that would be great that’d be
great so I already put the the screen sharing on for you please thank your husband for helping but I would like to
just say one more thing and that is I’d like to share with her I would like to share with you guys what I did learn
from her because I I thought it was very powerful because one of the things that I I pride myself on is being open-minded
and I think that um her response to my open-mindedness
was you should be single-minded towards Christ and I thought that was absolutely
profound and I sat with it like you said and I brought it to the Lord and I
thought this is true like I should be single-minded towards God and that
single teaching literally stripped so much fat off of my uh my walk and and
faith and it really it really leaned things out and then there was um there was one more oh and then you
know she has me rethinking what day the Sabbath should be for me and what
assembly looks like and I do I want to publicly thank her she knows who she is if she’s listening which I doubt but you
never know and um and and so if I think of any other ones I’ll share them because I I feel like they’re really
important oh I know it was rethinking the holidays Easter and and Christmas
and and instead celebrating the uh uh the Festival of trumpets and and the
new the new moon and and the Hebrew the hebraic calendar rather than the
Gregorian calendar yeah so yeah I’d love to hear your thoughts on on those teachings just those few things
yeah well you know it’s we could talk about it common
um because I think it’s important um you know if we look at times that God moved it was during on his feasts so
um it’s God’s feasts and but one can go totally off the rails and then hit the
the religious right right right that’s why that’s why we invited you here to
tell us what your thoughts are great okay no that’s good that’s good all right so we’re ready to roll
you’re alive can we pray um and just dedicate this session I
really um I know it’s it’s pretty important for each one of us because when we went
through it we just realized how um hidden this could be in our own lives
you know and yeah let’s let’s just ask the Holy Spirit to to show us you know
if there’s anything going on okay so father God we just want to thank you for this opportunity we thank you
for um the way that we can connect over the waters over distance and then in in you
and and what we are dealing with there’s just no distance we are we are one with
you and we are one with each other and you have a beautiful network of your Believers your children and so we just
thank you for each one that is listening tonight and uh today
um wherever you are in the world um father we just thank you that each
person belongs to you and they are washed in the blood of the lamb and they
are Redeemed by you and so we thank you that we can bring this teaching before
you now and father we know this is very it’s heavy on your heart it’s important to
you you’ve used so many examples and Jesus when you walked upon this Earth
you you showed us so clearly how you should walk how we should act how we
should live out your word and you so clearly mocked out those who were
religious and were into works and and trying to please you and trying to gain
their salvation um in an unbiblical way and so father we
just pray for for each one of us and and we just bring our hearts before you not
and the way we’ve been raised that the churches we grew up in the things that
were taught to us we just laid at your feet now and we ask you father if
there’s anything that is not in line with your word we want to give you permission
to to send your fire your Holy Fire and to burn up burn away whatever is
unbiblical whatever is religious because you hate the smell of religion and we
don’t want to be religious we want a living loving relationship with you
that’s what it is that’s bottom line how you told us to love each other to love
you first and then to love each other and so father we just pray that you will
um clearly lead in God each one of us and that we will stay humble we choose
humility we choose to Bow our knee and to say
that you and you alone are God receive all the praise the honor and the glory
it belongs to you alone we pray we pray for your blessing upon every slide every
word every picture father everything that roly and I prepared as we just we
just give it back to you when we ask you like the little boy with the with the two loaves and the fishes that we as we
give it back to you Lord that you will break it you will bless it and break it and you will feed the multitude because
we can’t you can and so we just give it back to you in the name of Jesus we pray
amen amen that was beautiful okay so Coleman
um how to identify a religious spirit as you can see immediately we’ve got
um the religious guys cornering trying to Corner Jesus and how he just walks
out among them and they couldn’t touch it so there are quite a few incidents that we could we can look at so it’s
important to identify people with religious Spirits why yes experience was
there and you felt there’s something going on um in the spirit there was a discernment
and um I just love your honesty common the way you you just come and you put it on
the table and and you just express it and I mean this is life this is living life and
um you know so it’s something for us to think about and how do we react around
people um how do we make people feel and so they will be careful you know because
we’re not representing the father we’re misrepresenting him if that is the way
that we are going about you know so all right but we’re not judging we’re not we’re not throwing stones to not because
we don’t want to be religious so we’ll we’ll we’ll keep we’ll choose to forgive and we’ll choose to love if we’ve had
those experiences so um the religious Spirits are going to
destroy our faith and I mean you had quite a knock you know you didn’t expect it
um they seek to control or manipulate you to do ungodly things so it was like
a provoking you to anger um you know trying to stir you up and
and to see how you are you going to explode you know how will you react and
then um they’re trying to impact your character by saying you know oh my goodness you you need some training you
know honestly um you you don’t you don’t know the protocol you know there’s protocols
[Music] I I once had an experience like that too and I the first thing that was that came
at me was you don’t know the protocols
we can all tell our stories our experiences but let’s keep our hearts
humble and um ask God let’s be teachable and ask God is there anything hiding in
our own hearts that we’re not aware of that he will shine his light and he will
bring It Forward because he’s in charge he’s God all right so the people with the
religious Spirits are going to do all these horrible things to us um there’s a principle that we need to
follow and that is people operating with religious Spirits are not demonically possessed and this is what’s important
because we can also on the other side of an attack
judge and say oh they’re full of demons you know or whatever it’s it’s not it’s
they’re not demonically possessed there’s something else going on here it’s well and and it is interesting
because she did say like you get behind me Satan when she was talking about me on her show so she obviously thought
that that I I was very evil and it was just the opposite for me I I never
thought she was demonically possessed I actually like I said earlier I felt like
she really had a connection to God and that’s why I feel like she will come around yes yes sorry I didn’t mean to
interrupt because I I just had to share I think it’s been an agreement that that she will we stand in agreement that she
will Coleman thank you that she loves God enough to turn and say God is there
anything in me that was wrong the way I I treated people you know Common
all right it’s an attitude of the heart and that’s a difficult one to see because it’s a blind spot
and even David couldn’t see his own heart and that’s why he went before the
father and he cried out and he said father test my heart and that’s something we should be doing regularly
so when you hear a teaching and and let’s take this one on religious Spirits let us pray the prayer of David and say
father I don’t even know what is hiding in my own heart but I bring my heart
before you now and if there’s an attitude that’s wrong in my heart I ask you to highlight it
Shine Your Light because in your light I see light but without your light I don’t
see light it’s a blind spot and I’m going to be deceived and I don’t
want to be deceived and so I I’m asking God to show anything any attitude in my
heart that’s wrong it’s a character flaw and so there’s obviously maybe hurting
the past there’s that’s why I prayed the way what church were you raised up
because that you know the way you’ve been taught for years and years and okay we don’t do it like that in our church
you know that kind of attitude is wrong um judging another person just because
you you’re not you’re not in the same flow or um it’s really to be open with
one another and to learn from one another that’s what what the kingdom is all about and so um you know if there’s
a character flaw it could be some wound um that’s hidden that you haven’t that
you haven’t brought to to the to the Cross yet um you know but whatever it is it’s
hiding and it’s it’s a blind spot so we really need God to shine his light
um for us tonight and then the definition of religious spirit is people who have a religious Spirits are trying
to do or become whatever pleases God and so it sounds very Pious it sounds very
right right virtuous I just want to serve God I just want to love God I just
want to do what God wants me to do but then my heart is not I’m not loving
but I’m showing everyone and I’m telling everybody but I’m doing what God is telling me but but my heart is not
that’s not what I’m portraying I’m I’m portraying a hard heart there’s something that hard in my heart and so
maybe maybe there’s a mother issue and we’ve I think we’ve spoken about this common we you know you’ve ministered to
people and if they’ve had mother issues they’re going to project it onto you and they’re going to test you they’re going
to see you know how you’re going to handle that so there’s some dark spot that you not seen that causes you to be
religious it is a character issue and an attitude of the heart
so although you’re saying hey but I want to please God but when I say this I’m
using man-made works and traditions or rules
that I’m trying to keep by so that God will be impressed with me
and and and and and then he will he will bless me and and that is totally the wrong heart
the wrong attitude and that’s where you’ve had a very strict up strict
upbringing yeah um um where you were more afraid of the
pastor than God um you know we’re we’re his rules or you
know who who whatever mom or dad or that there was just some very strict
um upbringing and that has put you in a box and when you’re in that box you say
and you can’t think outside you can’t see other people and you can’t listen to
other people you’re not listening to the other side of the story you made up your mind but it’s all you it’s man-made it’s
man-made works so if I didn’t read so many chapters a day if I don’t lead so
many people to the Lord per day a God won’t be pleased with me you know I remember the story I think it
was a y wam guy that he he had this thing he’s got to lead a soul to Jesus every day that was his
standard his own standard and it was late it was like 11 30 it was nearly 12
o’clock in the night and he was still walking the streets looking for a soul to lead to Jesus he tried the whole day
and he couldn’t and and it was a you know late and that’s when God spoke to him and
said to him what are you doing and he said but I’m trying to lead us you know someone to you Lord that’s that’s our
our deal and he says not my deal is yours yes it’s these man-made things it’s some
some load that was put on me and it’s a burden yes it’s not a joy
and so I’ve got you discern if it becomes a burden
then it’s not the Lord then it’s man-made I’ve been stuff has been put on
me and it’s loading me down amen my yoke is easy yeah exactly and so
a religious spirit will control and judge others according to their own
standards so if that’s my standard of I’ve got to win so many souls or I have
to keep you know some so many chapters I have to read so much I have to pray and
at least an hour a day you know um that’s what I have put together now
you can’t put that onto someone else but that’s what religious Spirits do so if
you don’t do like I do then you you’re not spiritual enough
and so I tend to judge and so I’ve got to be so careful not to judge people
all right so what is genuine spirituality what is God saying to us
that I’m not a religious spirit what does God want from my heart
and so it’s a Biblical relationship or service that is measured against the
Plumb line of the word it reflects the degree of circumcision of the heart the
heart and so maybe I’ve just been circumcised
a little bit in my heart yeah yeah I’ve had a meeting with God so it doesn’t mean to say that I don’t
you know I’m not serving God and I am reading the word and but how much have I
allowed God to circumcise my heart right so that’s very very important and
allowed to go through the pain allowed to go through the tears the seeing
yourself for what’s really inside um the shock at seeing who you really
are and then you realize without God I’m nothing I’m nothing God can lift his
hand any moment for my life it’s just grace and grace alone
and and his love for me I can’t earn I can’t earn he made me he created me
it’s like a mommy and a daddy that made a baby and and it’s not a a question of they have to love the baby they do I
mean it’s supposed to be out of the heart that baby knows mommy and daddy love me
unconditionally you know I don’t have to perform but there are children that grow up in a house to perform
absolutely also in a spiritual house you have to perform because the pastor
his heart hasn’t been circumcised really deep right and so he’s got all the rules
and and things that he puts upon his people all right so attributes of a religious
spirit there are 10 examples so we’re going to run through these 10 examples
and oh sorry that was a little bit too quick
okay um the first one is you are emotionally stiff
rigid or always comparing and this is talking about
in a hot hot yeah because it’s emotions you’re not
really connected you’re only connected with yourself me ma and myself or your brain like you’re
mentally like you get it but you haven’t embodied it yet like you’re not living it you understand it you can explain it
because I mean no one’s really um explains some of the stuff in the Bible to me in the short time that I’ve
ever spoke to her um better than she has I she really had a grasp on it
that’s excellent and and and we need to be able to hear that side as well you
know right so that was my point it’s kind of weird right yeah yeah it’s sad it’s sad and so the whole thing is
emotionally stiff you know so you know I’m in charge I’m in control
and um that’s the way I do it and then rigid or always comparing you’re comparing
yourself and that’s horrible you know God says don’t compare yourself because you are always going to be too you know
better then or less then and then you forever you can’t relax
because you thought you so you know emotionally you are so
um there’s such pressure on you all the time because you’ve got to be the best you gotta win
you know and so this is a horrible one this first one it just shows that emotions have been hurt these are wound
these woundedness and you have hardened your heart to protect yourself
okay so order is needed it is important God is a god of order and so we all need
to understand how God intended the body of Messiah to operate there is there is
order God has got order and so um when there’s chaos we’ve spoken about it
before then nothing will work so we need a god of order so it’s not now okay just
check order all out the window and just let’s go for whatever we feel like doing no there is order needed and so however
we have been given the freedom of choice and the sound mind so I’ve got to think I’ve got to use the
Mind God has given me which means that we should be testing the word presented
in spirit and truth and so whatever comes to you whoever teaches you doesn’t
matter how many pedigrees they’ve got or whatever titles they’ve got you still
test the word you still test the teaching you go before God you use your
sound mind and you use the word of God and you check and you see is what this
person is saying even Amanda please go and check is what what what I’m saying
is it correct and so you need to
um you know be be testing use your head although there’s order yes God is a god
of order but still I can discern and that’s what happened with you common is
that something in jail in your spirit something hits you no I could tell I
could tell pretty quickly um and it I ignored it um it was interesting because when I
wanted I had reached out and said hey I would be interested in being a part of your small group or whatever and
um she qualified me and I was going to ask you
about that so I’m glad this came up she said that Paul qualified the people in
his church and um I I haven’t found that yet in the Bible but trust me I I don’t know the
whole body Bible at all but is that anything that you’re aware of
it’s I think it’s pretty difficult to because it’s such a fine line because
are you judging right will you open
I I you know it is a very I can understand when it comes to
a group of counselors that you have to train and you have to entrust other people to them right that you have to
look a little bit deeper you know that uh that you’ve got to look at marriages you’ve got to look at personal lives you
know that kind of thing um you’ve just got to sort out um and make sure that everything’s
covered there and that they don’t get hurt and you and and there’s not an open door right but to be a student of the
word like a Bible study it was uh it was assembly she called it assembly
um which is like her version I guess of church and and so I
I ignored how bizarre that comment was one because
I didn’t know for a fact that it wasn’t in the Bible but two I was so
um I guess that that tickling of the ear thing happened to me yeah I was so like
wow what she’s teaching is so amazing um and it felt like it was strong right
and so but then um while we were talking and she was
telling me that she’s like oh but don’t worry like that Paul did that for his church um you know he qualified people or
whatever words she used and and then she said usually people do one of three things usually they’ll come and they’ll
just ghost it or the they’ll coast along or and I
the uh life coach in me recognized a sort of grooming like I want you to
behave a certain way in this assembly you know what I’m saying um and and looking back I you know I
should have just at that point in time said something feels wrong in my spirit and so let me think about it
um but I didn’t you know this is how we learn and this is how we
um we strengthen um the ability to discern even the
subtleties yeah God was teaching me I think yeah
yeah and you know just to just to sit in and learn in a Bible study
um it’s very difficult to discern if a person
how could you know in one phone call and that’s why I felt like it was a grooming process like here’s what I’m telling you
before you go in here yeah so I don’t know though yeah well
well let’s give her the benefits of the dots and absolutely you should ask her
um you know what would be her criteria because that would be interesting to hear you know so it would be criteria so
because surely only God knows our hearts we don’t even know our own Hearts you
know so okay so we must test the word that gets presented and then um this religious
spirit that brings rigidity people that have a religious spirit are forever comparing themselves with others they
quick to perform works but want to be recognized for their
piousness so there’s the pride you know so it’s perform performing I’m doing all
of this and I’m so many hours and this and that yes that was actually used
yeah so they want the recognition and then they will see their Good Deeds as a
process of Salvation instead of a means of reflecting the will of God towards
others and especially when it comes to and I will share it because that we put in one
scripture um saying don’t let anybody judge you about the feasts and the and new moons
and whatever whatever you know so we’ll talk about that but
if you want people on board if you want people to hear what you’re saying
well the way you say it the heart
you’re supposed to draw people to the father and not push them away and not hurt in
the process you know not misrepresent but anyway
we will um it’s just let’s check our own Hearts if the if we are sharing with people make
sure that you are drawing them to the father and not pushing them away or putting
them off because if if people are put off and they were hungry and they were open
to start off with what have you done what’s in your heart that has got them to pull away
so that’s a question we should all ask if we’re sharing a word with someone and
suddenly they just shut down are they not ready for it
um you know then you’re gonna wait a while or whatever but it’s there’s still got to be an ending in love they’ve
still got to be the love of the father that that we show all right so um this religious spirit
will take the full glory for their works so it’ll be because of the insecurity
and Brokenness and and and and their heart that’s that not whole
um they want the glory because they want to feel good for they want to hear that
was such a good word you know this was so good um because that is what they thrive on
that’s what makes them makes them tick so they will either look down on others
who do less or be jealous of others whom they perceive to have done better so it’s
this comparison thing you know my children when they went in the house and children
growing up and they’ve got all sorts of things you know as they as they grow and get older
um this comparison thing we would take them to the wood and show them listen the Bible God is saying don’t compare
yourself because no but she got more than more than half the sweet then I
than what I did you know that type that comparison the whole time but it’s not only in our families our our
Earthly families it’s also in God’s family we we’re jealous you know that one got more anointing than me
why does this one get to be the eyes and I’m the hands yeah yeah oh the foot yeah
right I’m a piece of hair no I’m kidding yeah so um it’s just it all comes down to
insecurity and Brokenness from our childhood if you really it’s it’s the attitude and the character that that
you’re not at peace with God because there’s still areas that you’re feeling God loves others more than me I’m so
afraid somebody else is going to get the Limelight and not me you know so um it’s there is if if you get to a
place where you can just rest and know God is in charge and whether I have the microphone or not
it doesn’t matter you know it’s God God that must get the glory
and so such people will not be able to relax as they are constantly measuring
themselves against others so they’re the whole time striving it’s just you know performance striving thing that’s
horrible really something chasing you right a good example of this religious
spirit is in Luke 18 verse 9 to 14 he also told this Parable to some who
trusted in themselves that they were righteous and treated others with content
he said two men went up to the temple to pray one a Pharisee and the other a tax
collector now that’s uh because Rowley was an accountant and trained up in books and
things he he always jokes and he says no he really needs some extra Grace for the
tax guy
himself prayed thus God I thank you that I’m not like other men extortioners
[Laughter]
seriously there’s good material here for a comedian yeah yeah I’ve I’ve watched
twice a week I give tides of all that I get I mean wow well done
and then the tax collector standing far off would not even lift up his eyes to
heaven but beat his breasts saying God be merciful to me a sinner he knew he
knew the state of his heart and that’s the key that’s where we must be we must know
that without God I I’m nothing I’m nothing I really need God with my whole
heart I tell you Jesus says this man went down to his house Justified rather than the
other I mean that is that is such a hard word and so for everyone who exalts himself
will be humbled but the one who humbles himself will be exalted and that we must always remember
so God’s kingdom is about choosing humility and rather choose the humility before
God because then he can lift you up then what you are lifting yourself up and
trying to tell God how good you are and what you what you are doing but God knows he knows it all but I’ve seen that
as well in ministries online where people are saying I don’t ask for any money I don’t ask for any money I don’t
ask for any money and they say it like if you watch like you know maybe 10 of
their videos they say it nine of the ten videos um that’s not humility no
no no not at all it you don’t need to really say it you
know it’s not necessary to say God knows God knows and so such people will get
the reward on Earth and not in heaven so that’s quite a wake up because we
hear so for such a short time and our reward is waiting for us in
heaven and if I’m going to take the glory and tell you know how good I am and compare
myself with others and that I am much better than that one or that one then I’ve got my reward
so it’s just something to keep in mind all right the second Point religious
Spirits are argumentative stubborn and or angry argumentative you do agree they
focus more on doing things right than building loving relations relationships
probably because they just can’t like you were saying you you probably nailed it on the head the very first comment
and that is that there’s probably some sort of issue with nurturing in mother
um because it’s the only reason you’d be that way and that’s why I do believe it’s very loving and very uh Christian
to walk away from an argument that’s causing pain even if you know that you
could win it yeah it’s not worth it no it’s not worth it yeah really and like
you said God knows yeah yeah and that’s that’s the most important person that’s got to know you know and that comes back
to self-validating which is something people have to be able to do and not worry about caring about what this
religious spirit believes about me I’m going to hold on to what God believes about me and I’m going to take it before
him I might be wrong yeah no exactly okay so people who present these
attributes listed the following scripture uh do not like to be confronted
um with the truth in any way so they don’t like it if you do raise points
that concern you um they immediately are defensive angry
push back um don’t want to listen and who are you to tell me you know I’ve
been in Ministry 40 years and what can you tell me so you know we’ve all got
our little stories how we can justify ourselves so they do not like to hear any criticism disapproval of any
teaching that they have given or any action that they have taken so they just can’t handle
um that something is is not right um at seven verse 51-53
this is interesting scripture it says you stiff-necked people uncircumcised in heart and ears
you always resist the Holy Spirit as your fathers did so do you which of
the prophets did your fathers not persecute and they killed those who announced beforehand the coming of the
righteous one whom you have now betrayed and murdered you who received the law as delivered by
angels and did not keep it and so his stiff-neck people you know
it’s this yeah it’s rebellious it’s uncircumcised
in heart and ears in other words what I feel emotionally and what I hear I’m
uncircumcised so that means I’m gonna hear things wrong you’re going to say something but I’m going to hear it totally wrong yeah
you know it’s twisted it’s twisted and because I I have you know I’ve got this
attitude in my heart that’s wrong and the character flaw and so um the scripture goes on and it says now
when they heard these things they were enraged you can imagine just hearing you
know being told you stiff-necked and you you murdered the prophets they came and told about Jesus and so they were so
angry in the and and they they ground their teeth and so you know as they were
biting on their teeth but Stephen full of the Holy Spirit gazed into
heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of
God and so they this is when they were stoning him and because of what he said
um but but he could look straight into heaven and I am so sure he didn’t feel one
stone I think God just took him and he spoke the truth he he really
really opened up some religious things that was going on there and accusations and maybe it’s something good to go and
read a little bit you know in act seven about Stephen and the stoning and and just get a bit more of the background
but it it’s really something to to think about because also where it says
um they ground their teeth at him it makes me like rewind all the times I’ve
seen basically narcissistic people just bite
their their their their their teeth they clinch their teeth so hard and then they they do that thing with their eyes where
sometimes their eyes roll other times they stare like it’s
that’s what it looks like yeah when when they’re being confronted yeah
yeah so you know you said that there was a word that this person had said and that
was keep your eyes on the Lord was that keep your single Vision yeah
and and that’s what Stephen had he he absolutely had a single Vision he was just looking at God and that’s where our
eyes should be father are you happy with the way I’m treating these people Emma am I representing your love am I
representing your heart um you know or am I pushing people away
and so yeah if there’s pain we just pray that God will reveal any pain in our own
hearts father please bring it to the lot so that we can deal with it
all right so we also see that argumentative stubborn and angry
tell people why they are wrong sorry I’m just gonna flip this one
consequently what will happen with these people that are argumentative stubborn and
angry is they’re going to tell people why they are wrong you know what this is
what you’re doing wrong and I mean that can be hurtful and especially if the person is wanting to learn
and and open and then you get the slap you know
um why they are wrong you know they will not listen to the other side of the
story that it’s just their side of the story is what what counts and they will attack the character of those who
confront them so that sounds like the description you gave of a narcissistic person they will
never admit that they are wrong and will sell them if ever apologize
instead you know yeah I mean she ignored my my my peace offering oh I mean just just
throw something out see if she’ll respond because I’m very open to um having hard conversations a lot of
women aren’t but the problem sometimes is the other person isn’t and so you can kind of send
something across see if they’re open to it or not and if they’re not then you just leave them alone yeah yeah that’s right rather that then
then have a horrible oh confrontation you know which is
really not necessary and it can stir up so many so many things sure yeah so they
will look to demonstrate their Superior knowledge teaching impatiently come on don’t you
understand why are you so throughout understanding I’ve known you for two hours get behind
me Satan well that’s a hard one
okay they teach out of context and it’s more about knowing than serving in
truths I think that’s a key so I can be very puffed up with what I
know I can both descriptives I can give it to you and really I can think well this is
it God must be pretty happy with me I’m not serving I’m not serving in truth
and if I look at the attitude of Jesus he took off the towel and he washed the feet so
if if you back off and you’re not going to argue you’re not gonna respond you’re
not gonna react you you just back off and you keep the peace
yeah you know God he sees that right and and that’s his heart is not to go and
stir I mean there were times Jesus just walked right through them I mean they were shouting all sorts of things and he
just he just walked through them didn’t say a word right you know so I think he he’s a very
good example yeah he is and it’s interesting you say that because um one of the things that I did do uh to check
myself was to look at the things that made Christ angry and it was fascinating
because um the little children coming to him he he was upset with the people that were
no let the let the little children come to me and I think that’s the overall spirit
um because so many of us are little children are we’re not emotionally uh
mature even though we are physically mature and yeah to give Grace and allow
for Christ to allow them to have access to Christ Without You interfering yes
yes absolutely yeah that that that is very special
okay finally they’ll they’re just gonna cut you off so I mean that is that is like the
inward you know honestly you’ve just wasted my time and
and that’s it and then you cut kind of like left stunned you know what’s what’s just happened now
that’s quite sad um but that’s that’s the the character
flaw again the hardness of heart so the Third uh point that we see around religious
Spirits they make judgments based on outward appearances
oh I don’t know if if it happened in the States but I suppose I think we probably
somebody saw it there and brought it here but it was this lady was a was in drama
um but she was a born-again Believer and doing Christian drama and that so she
dressed up as a beggar a drunk woman you know painted the teeth like it
looked like she had missing teeth and her hair was wild and really scruffy and
dirty and and so um she was sitting at the door and as the people came in she
would nah you know big and and so people oh shoot just go away you
know we’re going to church now just go away so and then eventually the pastor came
around and um he also tried to chase her away and so she actually shuffled her way to
the front and I said no but she would like to attend
and then as she was there and the people were so upset they were really I mean
they were voicing it very loudly the disgust that they felt for This Woman’s
junk and what is she doing in a church and that I mean this is now really getting the religious spirits to
manifest and eventually she took off everything and she showed them but I’m the guest
that you’ve invited she’s so good you know and oh good that is profound
they they zipped it it just didn’t know what to say but they were they were
revealed their hearts were revealed and that’s quite scary you know to but but it’s it’s also Grace
common if God chose this to us before we get to the Judgment seat sure thank you
we can deal with it now yes our judgments of outward appearances
oh man this is so easy to fall into this trap yeah the Life review will be much
better if we learn these lessons now thank you Amanda
so instead of getting to know the heart and the circumstances you know the the
um American Indians have quite a saying put on my moccasins
and then we talk yes because a moccasin is soft and it
takes on the shape of the foot so if you put on someone’s moccasins your feet aren’t going to fit there it’s
gonna be uncomfortable but once you put it on you’re going to be able to know where they’ve walked
what has happened to understand their life before you judge
and we so easy to judge you know I remember ministering in a
place and in Germany and and the school came in and she was so high on drugs and
really blasted and so dirty hadn’t bath for ages and her hair was all dirty and
she came in and she you could see immediately she doesn’t
fit you know she’s not part of the service at all and um a friend of mine used to be a hippie
um and and so she understood exactly and she went to this this girl and sat next
to her and she couldn’t speak German and and she just started praying in the spirit
and held it and by the end of the service the school was sober and we
could minister to her and she was a prostitute that had come from East Germany uh come over to West Germany to
try and do something with her life you know um but a year later we found her at the
church still clean soba beautiful beautiful little dress
hands lifted worshiping God so that’s love that’s the love of the
father now we judged her on the outward we would have oh you know yes so and that’s like when I
worked with the guys out of jail um the one that you know came and lived with us and stuff I mean he he he had
such a temper and he he said this publicly so I’m not speaking out bad about him without him knowing
um but it’s funny because we’re now I don’t know 10 11 12 years later and in
the last like three four years he he calls me on a regular basis you were right about this thank you for thank you
for watching me act like a brat and still loving me and and that really was
that situation of I could have called him out and said you know if you don’t
act like The Godly person I want you to act like then you’re out of here but you can’t you can only Reach people where
they are yeah that’s right that’s right yeah and then and the thing is it did
bring good fruit you know he came back to you and he reported to say thank you so so in spite
of all the facade and the hardness which was just a cover yes of a little boy you
know yeah um it still went through so the Father’s Love did get through yeah so that’s a
good testimony and so how do they judge they’ll use their own standards
to judge and that’s you know that’s what that’s
what we do so we need to be so careful we need to okay what am I thinking you
know when I see a person what do I think about them right um you know am I
judging them already and I don’t even know their story um there’s a lot of poverty in South Africa
as I think worldwide we we’re seeing it getting really interesting and
and so people are really in need um and it’s so easy it’s so easy to
judge and we have to be so careful and so you know let let us just ask Holy Spirit
to to Quicken our hearts the minute we analyze
that that he will get our attention in whatever way that we will realize you know what are
we doing so that um yeah we we won’t judge on outward appearances religious Spirits
work hard on their own image how’s that it’s not a comfortable one and so rather
than revealing their true heart so they’ll rather have this you know perfect look
and um that’s more important than opening
their heart and showing you know this is who I am and so there are a lot a lot of
times you you can you can meet people but you meet the image
but you never meet the heart and and you never get to know who is
this person you know it’s always what I look like you know it’s this
image that um people what people should should think of me and so this religious spirit reveals the
nature of a hypocrite oh it’s a horrible thing ah so in very real terms they are actors
playing a role with that which they show in public is very different to that
which they live in private that’s painful
I don’t want to be an actor I don’t want to be an actor for God I want to be real
you know when you work with did SRA people and they start with their
memories then many times they will come and touch me and touch my arm and say oh you real
what is real are you real because they’ve been so in virtual reality and
um drugs that they don’t know what is real
and and so when they can touch me then I say I am real I am Amanda you know they
can feel me um and so it’s it’s this religious
spirit you can’t get there you can’t get there
you you you’re working with an actor who’s playing role
because I I’ve got to be the pastor where I have to be the leader of ministry or the worship leader whatever
there’s a role but it’s it’s not their heart
you know so this this acting oh it when we were working on this one that really
hit me hard you know so I have a question just on that exact one
when it says in the Bible um do not you know no one on earth should call me you should call someone
father and there should not be leaders it actually says that
um why do you think the church is set up leaders like I know there’s got to be an
order like you said to the way that we but I I do find myself confused on some
of these things because they are the complete opposite of what the Bible says to do because if you think about the way
a home church was probably conducted back then
um how how who was the leader was it a coming together you know what I’m saying
do you see what I’m saying yeah yeah yeah well Coleman you know we’ve we’ve
just been to Israel and we took a group um of about 50 people
South Africans and really was the religious well religious he is
the spiritual leader of the group and um we went to caesarea now cesarea is the
place where the pagans had like um an
arena and people would sit and then they would watch plays that would take place on the
um you know on on the stage and a lot of what was going on in the
Roman time was then taken on by the
church church yeah that makes so much sense yes so so this is the actor thing
and because we were there it hit us because the word that that is that was
used for this um Gathering of where this Arena where they would sit like in an Amphitheater
and then the stage at the bottom sure is called um it is the same word as Church
interesting and I was like whoa you know it was it was quite a shock and then
realized how much of that Roman way and paganism was brought into
in so many ways in so many ways and I feel like that’s what I personally am going through is a clearing out or
getting rid of the fat and just trying to to get down to not acting not leading
just sharing my testimony sharing what I’m going through um
and and asking questions having discourse like we are I mean it’s how we learn and I love that you can admit that
you know you’re here you are in front of you know thousands of people saying you know it it hit us hard
yeah it’s really cool because God’s the shepherd right God’s the leader yeah and and the thing is if
we keep that in mind we weren’t loaded over people because
because Jesus is the shepherd and and all we we
are doing is we just facilitating a group and what is so good within the
home fellowship is that you have feedback from other people it’s not just
one voice that’s talking you know Jesus didn’t tell his disciples
um meet me once a week in the temple and listen to a sermon for an hour
right they were getting together and having conversations about the Lord they
shared what they were experiencing yeah they did a lot together so that’s
what it is to walk with with the Lord every day it’s every day it’s a getting up you
know I’m driving showering you know what my every day what I’m doing with God in
talking with him all the time and what is so great is to get feedback from the
people because it enriches yes because everybody can add you know and and it’s
not it’s not a controlled one-person doing their thing you know right and if
they are those that want to learn and maybe they’re a bit off track then you know to bring a gentle correction and
let’s look at the word and but it’s the way you do things right or you can keep the people or you’re going to chase them
away right so that that is so important and yeah this whole thing about actors
was was was quite a wake up so good yeah so these days we so often see
leaders who have taken a stand against a particular sin and judge those involved in public
humiliating you’ve seen that and then the sad thing is and yet later
on they fall into the same trap because what you said to reap
you know so it’s so so it’s one needs to be so careful even if a leader has
fallen into sin and has got into trouble be careful that you don’t fall into the
same you know so so it’s just just watch watch what we say and what we think
so um that we just rather lift them up before the Lord you know so that yeah
and in some cases like if you can like you said gently do it but trust that God
will if you can’t you know really believe for them
that they will it that’s what I think of as when I think of the concept of with
faith of a mustard seed I’ll move a mountain and that is to with faith hold
like I am over that woman like I really believe in her I really believe in her connection to God and I believe I can’t
do anything and so yeah I’m just gonna I’m just gonna let God do his thing but
I will hold that Vision of Love over her yes yes now agree I agree yeah
okay so good example of this religious spirit the one that judges um is in Matthew 23 verse 25 to 26 so
this is the um person that judges the outward appearance so woe to you scribes and
Pharisees hypocrites for you clean the outside of the cup and
the plate but inside they are full of greed and self and Indulgence you blind
Pharisees first clean the inside of the cup and the plate that that the outside Also may be clean
so this is you know where you’re building your image and that’s all you’re interested in but nobody checks the heart nobody can get to your heart
and you because you’re covering up the the wound you know the woundedness but it’s coming out in the sharpness and the
way you’re treating people and so we see um verse 27 28 woe to you
scribes and Pharisees Hypocrites for you are like white washed tombs
this this is scary common because a tomb is death yeah you’re talking about a
corpse yeah you know which outwardly appears beautiful but within is full of
dead people’s bones and all uncleanness yeah I mean to be compared to a tomb of
rotting you know somebody that’s decaying it’s quite radical and so you also
outwardly appear righteous to others so people think ah what a what a what a
spiritual person you know they know God they pray whoa but then
you appear righteousness you are full of hypocrisy and
lawlessness and so oh man we can put up we can be such good actors aren’t we yeah you know
we had masks and for every occasion you
have a mask and you cover it you you don’t show your heart right it’s a whitewashed tomb The Mask has the is the
tomb and then what’s inside is death yeah absolutely
okay Point number four of the ten religious Spirits like a religious activities and this is where legalism
comes in yes all right so here we have
um religious Spirits our Performance Based they enjoy religious gatherings
that don’t produce Life Changes read that one again
religious Spirits are Performance Based so something’s got to happen gotta do it
they enjoy religious gatherings that don’t introduce life-changing and just
keep picking up your cross every day it’s always suffering and suffering you
don’t come to Joy wow I mean that’s the ultimate place for
us to be because if you look at frequencies common just aside
um but if you look at at the negative emotions like ah you
know I’m carrying this is a burden for the Lord and um it’s been to so many people you know
then that’s a very low frequency so you know but the minute you get to Joy because
the joy of the Lord is my strength you’re talking about another frequency yes and and you know that is that is
where I get my strength from so even although you spend hours working you
know people say how do you keep your mind when you’re working with so much darkness and occultic stuff and you know
all of this then I don’t think that way because I have such fun with the Lord
yeah you know in between I have such joy and and God puts joyful people and my
grandchildren you know around me to to pick up my joy and that’s to pick up my
frequency so that I will be strong in him and and and have that Joy
you know but when I go down into that and this is this religious
it’s miserable yeah and that was the debate that we had she was upset with me
for talking about joy and so when we talked offline because I left it alone
until we got on the phone um I said but it you know I don’t
understand why why glorify you know the suffering why glorify aren’t we supposed
to lift each other up and I said when you think about the fruit of the spirit Joy is one of the nine aspects and
um she goes where does it say that in the Bible and I was like how do you miss that one
um but but that comes back to my thought which was when even you and and you you can tell
me because I’m sincerely curious because I’ve gotten to a place where I can sit
in the presence of somebody who I know is in so much pain because of the lies
that they’re believing but I know that it’s God that permitted it it’s God that
that is doing a work in them that is so far beyond me I can’t even fathom it I
just know my role and my role is to hold the fruit of the spirit I want to be the
tree that’s got the you know the Fig growing on it not the one that Christ is going to cut down yeah exactly and also
what about the ExAlta gift you know if you don’t have joy and you how else do you exalt someone to have
hope to take courage to forget your presence you know
so we’ll pray we’ll pray for her we really will and so um these these people with this
um religious spirit they read the Bible because they are supposed to rather than being captured by the spirit
um so in other words from from the mind to the heart you know really feeling the
anointing of God on the word throwing stones is easy for them to do
so that’s not a not a comfortable one and so the signs that we should look for
the the burden burdensome rules and regulations which are not defined nor
required by God so if there’s rules put upon you and
regulation This Is How We Do It and you know
you stick with us and then you can come but otherwise no and so it’s these but it’s
not in the word there’s no way in the Bible that you can find these rules it’s men
it’s man it burdens you know so some of these Traditions may be prophetic
actions suitable for a certain circumstance but can never become mandatory right which is what people try
and put up you know not at work then so we’re going to now make a recipe of it
and then it becomes this burden it becomes heavy and there’s the joy is
gone you know that that freedom is gone yeah because I’ve now taken this as
rules and regulations we must remember that when while Jesus tells us he kept
the Commandments and that we should do the same and that his burden is light
but words of condemnation if you fail to adhere to non-biblical rules man-made
rules are spoken over you results in a heavy but yes
so Jesus kept the Commandments but it was never heavy he did it with joy he
did it out of love and so even when the Pharisees when he was healing on the Sabbath
they wanted to Stone him and and you know you could it was you
know and he he rebuked them and you know told them I’m busy with God’s work
you know so it’s it was man-made rules and regulations that was put upon him
and and he and he just shook it off and he walked and he did what the father told him to do
but the thing is when when you when you part of a almost a cult
that’s what it felt like a cult yeah we man-made rules or put there
because this is how we do it and all it is it’s it’s a protection for
their own insecurity sure you know I see that 100 percent
it’s not biblical and so it’s very sad when you feel this
burden coming on you and just thinking you know when when I started down the road it was no makeup
no no slacks no jeans um I mean it was all these don’ts do’s
and don’ts yeah rules and I thought but I’m young and I still want to enjoy life
I don’t want you now look you know and you can’t color your hair and
you can’t do nails and you know all that type of thing so no but that’s how I came in and then
it it kept me actually from giving my life to the Lord because I was thinking if I do because I had the fear of God on
me get true fear of God no turning back you you’ve got to know
what you’re doing and and and I knew that if I do then I was I was saying but
Lord I’m still so young and I want to still you know have fun and enjoy life and I I had this terrible home with a
dad that was drinking and no no I want to go art and I want to enjoy life and
but no how can I serve you and you know and be a young person just all totally
messed up and it was man-made it wasn’t biblical stuff
it wasn’t in the Bible you know so yeah we we can put so many heavy things on
people and really it’s we chase people away we’re not
showing the father The Father’s Heart to them and so we see a good example of this
religious spirit is in Colossians 2 verse 16 and 17 therefore let no one pass judgment on
you in question of food and drink or with regard to a festival or a new moon
or a Sabbath okay this was what you what you had to do with um these are a shadow of the things to
come but the substance belongs to Christ so how do we then deal with this this
question and so it’s very important now this does not mean that you should not keep God’s
feasts or his other Commandments and because many times people will use that scripture and say well I don’t need to
keep anything you know but that’s not what the scripture means
um we are called to be obedient to what Jesus is requiring from us as his disciples he’s given us his word it’s
loving instructions from the father and we are to keep them in love not as a
burden but because I love you Lord and then do not let people judge you for
the way that you do so under the leading and the guidance of the Holy Spirit that’s the key that should you keep the
feasts should you keep the new moons should you do those things that God says
then don’t let people judge you for the way that you do so under the leading and
the guidance of the Holy Spirit um you know commonly was a time in the
beginning when we started to hear about the biblical foundations that these are God’s feasts they’re not Jewish feasts
and okay but what is God saying to us in these feasts we would look at the Jewish
the Jews right and we would follow the the the pattern you know we would follow
the the pattern and do it that way and then because we were Spirit-filled God started speaking to us and telling us
but a lot of the things is tradition it’s not in the it’s not biblical right
all I ask do is keep the Sabbath I don’t tell you what you must do all the other stuff is
added stuff by men and so we started to go through the
feasts and only do what the word says so that’s why we underline leading and
guidance of the Holy Spirit and so if you’re Spirit-filled obviously
the holy spirit is going to lead you yes and and we don’t pray out of a pray book
for example um because those are man written man
written yeah out of our hearts right you you know we do it really led by the Holy
Spirit and and and there’s such extra things like for example you can’t mix meat
and your your your meat dish with milk
and they took it from a scripture where where they they said don’t boil
a cough in its mother’s milk uh and from that they did this whole thing
where you’ve got to have two zincs two lots of dishes yes I didn’t even know
that until recently my daughter told me about that like literal houses with two kitchens in them yeah absolutely and all
this is all man-made it’s not in the Bible it’s in the God doesn’t expect it from us right so
there’s so many added things because the rabbis thought I’m going to add some
extra fences but the rabbis put it there it’s man-made it’s probably a religious spirit at that
exactly you gotta call it yes they have no joy in them so they
want to spread the the misery yeah so so it’s and it’s it’s not God’s way at all
and that’s why we feel it’s so important that should you if God opens us up for
you and this is what you feel to do and you look at at God’s feasts and you look at the days and we’ve got Feast of
trumpets coming up now yeah on the 16th of September and and I remember Derek
Prince and some other big preacher I remember the
name both died on the Feast of trumpets wow and there was a huge shift that took
place there was like a earthquake that hit Israel at a stage and so so huge
things happen on God’s days these God pointed feasts yeah not Jewish it’s gods
and do you think Satan steals those um in your experience okay so do you
celebrate the Feast of trumpets yes oh that’s cool what do you do for it
um we take the little ones we teach them to blow the shofar and we tell them to to let you they must make a noise and
wake up the church wake up the bride so that because Jesus is coming back and you know because that’s that’s the
trumpet that blows the final puppet that will blow so all the feasts are exactly
what Jesus told us and prophetically what’s coming because up until the the
outpouring of the Holy Spirit those feasts are fulfilled but the four feasts are still to come
we’re still practicing it’s they’re a shadow so in other words the 16th of September is God’s day and
um that’s when we blow the shofar and we we declaring the king is coming the king
is coming and so we gotta wake up wake up the church and so with a blast of a
shofar so people are blowing shofars you know for 30 days before the time it’s like every day you just blow the show
for once and on the last day you blow it and blow it so that the church is awake and then the next is your um
the is is your your Tabernacles and so um that’s such a beautiful feast and
that is where the bride where we’re going to have the seven days of wedding celebration
and so the way we teach feasts is I say that God loves parties
and so when when it’s his party time he asks us to come come to the table
because there’s a big feast and so that’s the scripture that says that the people didn’t want to come and
then he had to go into the lanes you know all over and sell them come and
he invited them to his table and so um there’s such depth in the
messages they’re such nuggets that you can glean out of the word that we don’t
know if you don’t know the feasts you don’t understand right but if you start tapping into God’s pattern and he’s not
celebrating and we we started small we started really as I said to you know what we were doing you know but I think
God smiled at us every week but we tried our best and um and then we started to
throw it out man-made stuff because that’s not what God expects of us roly grew up uh a total atheist
so they never went to church they went to church once a year um Christmas day they went to church and
just said hi to the to to the pastor and that was it so he couldn’t understand
that we we were Dutch reformed so we we went every Sunday and um but it’s a
beautiful day come on go to the beach yeah so yeah it doesn’t have one
religious hair on his head and he smells religion like he knows immediately when there’s this religious stuff and that’s
why it’s been such an awesome Journey for him to to walk down this road and to
see what God’s word really says right and dig for the nuggets and so yeah he’s he
just loves the word he just loves you know but the true being led by the
holy spirit is the key yeah that is in common yes and not to fall into any
religious trap and put another burden you know and and be weighed down by
man-made rules that’s not biblical yeah so we really need to discern or
man-made rules that use the legalistic um they legalistically abuse God’s word
yeah absolutely yeah you know rowley’s teaching um coming up now he’s going to teach on
the lies that women have been told about about you know that they lower
class he’s now going to say what did Jesus come and do for the woman so once he’s
spoken it I’ll send you I’ll send you the clip so you can yes I will I will I
will definitely be interested in that and it’s interesting too because that goes back to the the churches that were
held in the houses those women were teaching that’s right absolutely yeah
I’ve written a book on the apostolic calling of a woman hmm I’ll pop it in in
your mail for you then okay sounds good yeah it’s because I’ve had so much Flack
myself you know um through religious Spirits so yeah um
I don’t know if I told you about this Dutch guy that came to me and he said to me um God told the woman to sit still and
to be quiet so who told you that you can preach and you can teach the word why
should I listen to you so I went home all upset and I said well Lord now you’re going to talk to me because you
called me and you tell me what am I doing what must I tell him how do I answer him so God took
me two scriptures the one is in the Old Testament the other one is in the new and it’s about the Donkey
and I went to balaam’s donkey and God said to me was it a he or a she donkey that’s the
reason she donkeys yes it should be my donkey and then the New
Testament when they had to bring Jesus Road on a donkey into Jerusalem and he
said have a look again it was a she donkey he says all you do is carry me that’s all you do that’s what you tell
him you’re obviously carrying me Hallelujah I’ve got my answers
Spirits you know that you have to face all right the petty arguments and
discussions on matters which do not affect your salvation for example how are you baptized you know three times
were you done you know there’s some and then there’s a whole
big story about that too so yeah it’s and then and then we we you know you make big arguments around that you know
and it doesn’t affect my salvation you know I’m serving Jesus if there is of
course occultic stuff that I need to deal with sure then I need to deal with it but if I know that I’m born again and I know
I’m God’s child and you know so we we can really go into things that are so
unnecessary the religious spirit leads you down bunny trails we see that the rabbis created fences
around the Commandments with the idea that it will help to protect a Believer from falling into a trap
and so that’s where all the man-made stuff that they added you know the kitchens and all of that which is
absolutely Twisted I mean it’s really not truth and so um this is also true in many
churches today so it’s it’s it’s not just the rabbis that do those things but also in churches where they’ve added
extra rules thinking I’m going to keep the people safe but all I’ve done is I’ve put a burden
on them because I’ve added to the word right and God says don’t add to the word
you know so um you’ve got to be so so awake you must know what the word says and so it’s
important to to really be in the word yourself all right scripture to back this up is
Matthew 23 it says woe to you scrubs and Pharisees you Hypocrites for you tithe
mint and do and cumin and have neglected the
weightier matters of the Lord Justice mercy and faithfulness
amen so I’m busy weighing the mint I mean I was just looking at the mint
leaves you know and I’m thinking and they are so religious about the the mint and the
dill and the cumin you know that they they don’t show the love of the father
right so they’re so so caught up in how much am I actually giving of the mint
and this is what Jesus is saying woe to you scribes and Pharisees these you
ought to have done without neglecting the others Justice mercy and
faithfulness that’s what Jesus is saying so you can just see you blind guides
straining out a net and swallowing a cow
that’s what our religious Spirits do so okay number five any sign that some
people are the Elite While others are just commoners that tells you we’ve got to be careful
yeah our group is superior to everyone because we believe this yes so
legalistic people will focus on the deeds and or practice rather than the
principle so it’s how I do it do I light the candle when where’s the sun I must look
exactly you know and it’s it’s really man-made stuff
you know it’s not part of the word and so I must go with the principle
all right now uh an example of a woman that’s caught in the act of adultery
um Jesus when they bring the woman to him he will judge the sin
so he doesn’t endorse what she’s doing he’s not happy with with what she’s doing so he will judge the sin go and
sin no more but he will not deviate from the principle
and the principle was that both male and female would be guilty they only brought
the woman so they brought again the woman is now the one to blame it’s the woman that’s
caused this man to sin and Jesus says no ways it takes two and
he says it doesn’t help that now you want to judge this woman but where’s the man so he’s sticking to the principle
of if you get caught both need to be addressed
so he addresses the sin he tells It Go and sin no more but he won’t deviate from the principle
and he says both male and female would be guilty and only those without sin
should judge so if we if we then look at the scripture and that is the scribes and
the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery and placing her in the midst they said to him teacher
this woman has been caught in the act of adultery now in the law of Moses
Moses commanded us to Stone such woman so what do you say so I mean this is
absolutely you know trying to stir an argument to see what what is he going to
say this they said to test him that they might have some charge to bring against
him Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground now this is
interesting because if you see this what Jesus is doing and you go back to the
Old Testament and there’s exactly if you write with your finger in the sand
then it’s a it’s it’s a form of of a judgment but you arrived it in the sand
and Jesus does exactly he plays it up from the altar they knew the Old Testament and yerry is he just bends
down looks down and he starts writing in the sand and as they continue to ask him he stood
up and he said to them let him who is without sin among you be the first to
throw a stone at her and once more he bent down and wrote on the ground because he knew nobody
was without sin he knew he knew they knew what’s in the Old Testament and he
was just he was just reinforcing it now and they knew that that they were caught
out and so the the next thing is but when they heard it they went away one by one
beginning with the older ones and Jesus was left alone with a woman standing before him Jesus stood up and said to
her woman where are they has no one condemned you and she said no one Lord
and Jesus said neither do I condemn you go and from now on sin no more
and that’s so beautiful that is so beautiful um it’s so just it’s so fair it’s so
right you know this is God and and it was so
beautiful that he just released her and he said I mean what a word to hear from
from your creator don’t say no more and nobody could throw a stone nobody could
judge her and not even Jesus who could have judged her did
because the man wasn’t there so it that was it
it was so beautiful he he he really reinforced her as a woman and released
her and blessed her to go so it was so beautiful in this example
yeah and I mean literally back then I mean she would have been like a total like yeah
absolutely because she was like what didn’t they say she was married like
five times or something like that yeah do they ever say who she was
like do they know who who it was her name I’m going to look at the
comments um Riley’s got a very good um research bottle I’m gonna ask him if
there’s if there’s a name mentioned because sometimes I was curious if it was someone that was mentioned before
after that as well yeah I’ll ask him and I’ll get back to you
okay 0.6 religious Spirits are stuck in the past isn’t that interesting because
they don’t want to grow they don’t want to develop and go with their flow go with new you know as God is moving you
have to change but they don’t want to change because they’re comfortable with them yeah so there’s in the tradition so they
stuck all right so the only testimony you have is something that happened it that is
the only testimony you’ve got is something that happened 40 years ago you glorify the past rather than looking for
new ways in the present and so that means you’ve stagnated you you had this experience 40 years ago and that’s all
you can talk about you know if if I I do a lot of teaching common
um and whenever I go to a place I always look for something fresh I want something fresh because I don’t like
repeating myself telling the same things you know for you I really do try and get
new word fresh things um but I think it’s because I get bored
right and think about it it’s a natural progression to yeah to bring in whatever
experiences you had because those were those experiences that that God brought you that day yeah yeah people are
conforming and people are creatures of habit and so I think it’s a default mechanism the brain uses
um it wants the fastest easiest route to things because it is trying to be efficient but sometimes it makes for
lazy living or lazy Faith or yeah yeah yeah and your teaching notes are the
same as 40 years ago I really you know when people said to me Amanda you’ve got
so much stuff on your website when evil God shows me something I have
to write it down you know I must I must grow so but this it’s the same with you
you know Common whenever we get together then there’s something fresh you put on the table and it just happens to so
beautifully work out and flow in that which we are are talking about you know it makes it and now it makes it fresh
it’s today thank you okay if you don’t have a testimony then you
have not been studying the word we can never know nor understand the fullness of the meaning of the Bible and
therefore should be constantly renewing our mind revelation of God’s purposes and calling will mature in time and our
character should be constantly developing and so um but in both the gifts and the fruit
of the Holy Spirit we should see a maturity and a balance of application
and so I’ve got to grow I can’t be stuck in 40 years ago although I feel
comfortable there and I don’t want to change but the fact I don’t want to change means I don’t want to because
change only comes when I show my heart right because if I don’t show my heart
of God you know God convicting me of things then how can I change then I’m stuck in
a rut you know so God is challenging us to to allow ourselves to grow
all right Point number seven religious Spirits are closed off to change or they insecure
and so religious Spirits keep us from looking at new and fresh moves
they are suspicious and critical of any new thing happening
so what’s this new thing now you know what is going on it’s not the way we used to do it
uh because they themselves are unsure whether they will be honored
so if there’s a new thing now and I mean I I’m seeing it as I’m I’m growing older
in as let me say wiser um in in the ministry
um when the young ones are up and coming I am so excited because I’m seeing and
I’m hearing fresh things and I’m hearing beautiful I mean the cloud has moved times have changed we are not you know
working with so much media and um things that we didn’t have many years
ago right and so um to not be threatened by it to be
challenged and so how can I learn you know right right and so
um yeah not to be suspicious or critical about what God’s doing because it’s in
times and things have to be different to what they were 30 40 years ago it’s we’ve got to we’ve got to move
we’ve got to move with a cloud and so otherwise we’re not going to make it you know it it will just not we won’t
be able to handle the end times so um
these people don’t want change in fact they want things to remain just as they
knew them all along even more seriously they want constant praise because of their dedication and
consistency they believe because they maintain the standard that they should be recognized
you know and I know that sometimes when we’ve had a couple of friends of ours
been in Ministry for years and had to hand over the Baton and that’s pretty challenging
to know to hand over and just you know even rolly when he when he retired and it’s
also handing over the back you know that you know that you that it’s gonna that the work you’ve built you worked so hard
on and you know you want fresh wind you want fresh new things but it’s just is
it going to flow is it going to flow so yeah I think it’s difficult in all walks
of life is this transition but to keep your hearts open yeah and not be insecure
so these people will reject any new move of the spirit based on their feelings and will avoid it
so they’ll just stay at home and and not be part of whatever God’s doing and because of their own fear of change
and so you need to if that’s there then you need to say father why why do I have fear of change what is
causing me to to pull back a good example of of this religious
spirit is in again Matthew 23 but woe use scribes and Pharisees Hypocrites for
you shut the Kingdom of Heaven in people’s faces for you neither enter yourselves nor
allow those who would enter to go in this is a very serious scripture
where you actually kind of like stand in front of the of the door you say you’re
not going in and I believe that is exactly what happens and the stones aren’t physical
Stones they’re verbal Stones yes yes but remember the person is a Livingstone
mm-hmm so the person is standing there blocking
the way and instead of welcoming you and inviting you into the kingdom
and so hello to you scribes Pharisees Hypocrites for you travel across sea and
land to make a single proselyte and when he becomes a prosely like you make him
twice as much a child of hell as yourselves
really serious words so twice as much
it makes makes you realize common that this religious spirit
is very close to hell yes I mean
it’s hard to even say it to to make merchandise that’s exactly how that’s
exactly how it felt to me um when I entered this space
um I felt sadness I felt morning I felt grief
and you know my natural tendency is to give people hope like that’s just how I
roll and I think it’s so funny that you and I did not talk about this other than here religious Spirits talk about that
um and then for you to use the exact scripture of the fruit of the spirit
it’s exactly what I did yeah
yeah but it’s it’s quite serious to think where are you with the religious
spirit I mean you are taking away the light that other people could be seeing
you standing in the light and making a dark and many of them so justified in teaching because they
are so intelligent but their heart hasn’t been circumcised or it’s been partially like you said you know what
I’m curious about as I’m sitting here and you probably know but he Jesus always says Whoa like it’s like he’s
lamenting or something do you know what what that means whoa
well it’s it’s sometimes it’s it’s it’s couple of woes you know that God is
really serious and getting your attention and it’s a it’s it’s a very strong reprimand yeah
that’s what it seems like yeah and and this is how he feels about the religious
spirit so it’s so serious that when roly and I when we were putting this together we were just thinking
this is something that we really need to go before God each one of us because you
are taking the light away if you have any religious spirit in you you’re going
to make a dog for other people yes that’s scary that’s really scary
okay so what we then see is these people will blow their own trumpets
by using TV or Facebook or whatever and highlight the fact that their position
is still blessed and correct you know I’m okay I’m fine I had a
prophet prophesy over me you know I’m on track and I’m really
spreading the word correctly you know and all that so it’s justifying
um because they’re so afraid uh to and insecure yeah and a lot of
them openly attack other Ministries yeah yeah poof that is scary they do all
their deeds to be seen by others for they make the oh man
philactories now that is the Box that the Jewish guys
they bonded up with leather and now they’re making the Box bigger
and bigger so that people can see me yes they do it on the streets of Jerusalem
it’s such a funny thing I didn’t even know it was real until about three years ago
yeah and and they’re doing it on the streets so the guys would come let’s say they’ve been in the Army and they
they’ve got a bit of a break and they come there and then they have this Rabbi wrap them and then but but it’s the
pride thing and I’ve got this box I’ve got I’ve got the Torah now you know on
my but it’s it’s a it’s a physique it’s a physical thing that should be spiritual right in other words I must
have the word of God in my mind and I must have the word of God in what what I
think and what I do right that’s really the message it’s not in the Box you know what I’m
saying that the religious guys put it in the box and and I walk with my box but I
I mean nothing I’m just bragging but I’m not changing the world I’m not
showing the kingdom you know where I should be I’ma speak the word I must know the word but I must
do the word as well that’s the meaning of it but then I make and I have these
fringes extra long they call them foot seats you know and
then they make them long below my knees and so because my fringes are so long and yours are so short you know
[Laughter] I’m way better than you
it is so sad they love the place of honor at feasts and the best seats in the synagogues and greetings in the
marketplace and being called Rabbi by others so this is now you know Jesus is referring to those in his day but we’re
seeing it in the church today as well common you know it’s there so Point number eight is about manipulation this
is interesting religious Spirits have a misdirected zeal that drowns out tears people who are
Weeping people that are broken come on you know pull yourself together
you don’t need to cry you don’t cry about everything and so they use this
misdirected zeal but they use manipulation
right they’ve done it and so what I’ve found is they very quick to judge what
we as counselors do but they don’t counsel not one of them right
but if they have problems oh no go and see her because she does counseling we don’t waste our time with
that and they very very much you know to to say negative things but
that’s do you counselor how many people have you canceled so well get into counseling then you’ll learn you know
and get compassion and so they there’s manipulation that happens
okay religious Spirits use their Zeal as a weapon to drown out tears and to condemn rather
than to build up isn’t that sad you don’t have enough faith
have you fasted because people come with their problems and they cry
you know okay do you have enough faith have you have you read your Bible enough
have you fostered about this you know so hard it’s Zeal but it’s a weapon right
and that you hurt people they can point out problems but sell them offer any solutions right these people will govern
and create fear in a Believer and then control by guilt isn’t that sad
all right they will attack the young believer the immature Believer by creating fear
that the other posture that they are listening to is out of touch so let’s say a person with a religious
spirit comes to visit an assembly and they look around and they see these
young believers and then they go to them and they say well you know this guy doesn’t really have the truth you know he he’s a bit
out of touch um you you really shouldn’t be here so that they trying to gather followers
they want to create their own church they that they are in the wrong Community because the spirit is not
moving you know I didn’t sense any moving of the Holy Spirit here you know and that’s how they then back
bad mouth the pasta and speak to the young ones and it’s it’s very cruel what they are
doing and that the correct word is not being taught here if you come to me I’m studying a Bible study and I will teach
you I will help you you know it’s that manipulation
and then they draw people away in the form of rebellion and that is another kind of evil it’s
one thing to put stuff out there and you you gather the people who are like-minded but to go into someone
else’s Ministry my gosh yeah now that’s very very cruel that’s very evil
okay so this is a type of a manipulation that you can find you must be in the right standing with a
leader you know if you’re not in the right standing with a poster then bad things are going to happen you know
you’re gonna lose your job you’re gonna da da da da da you know you’ve got to be in right standing with the pastor
you must be you must submit totally to the leader you do nothing unless you
check it with the leader let’s become a cult it’s such control and manipulation you
cannot question the leader’s actions in any way you don’t dare say anything about but
why are you saying this why are you doing this you you can’t do that get behind me Satan yeah
that’s what they would say yeah you need to approach the leadership for their approval of all decisions that you make
so if you want to buy a house you’ve got to get their approval if you want to go on holiday you need their approval you
know whatever it’s it’s scary what is going on in churches today
and it’s religion it’s all religiously religious this is not God’s way this is not the kingdom of
God and so people that don’t know get caught into a trap
and so you cannot attend meetings of another denomination or a group
don’t you dare go to somewhere else you only listen to me I’m the pastor and you
don’t go to any other Fellowship you don’t visit anywhere else you come to me and you are rebuked and humiliated in
public oh my that is horrific that is really horrific and that has
happened I mean I’ve had people you know I’ve had to pray with people about the wounding and repent on behalf of
leadership for what is who’s done that to people yeah yeah but that’s very sad really a good example
and for some people it’s just enough to keep them from the Bible again yeah
exactly get them to backslide you know because it’s it’s not God so 2 Timothy 3
verse 5 and 6 is having the appearance of godliness but denying its power avoid
such people for among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women
burdened with sin and Lead astray and led astray by various Passions
and so what God is saying clearly avoid such people don’t go when they appear to
be Godly but there’s no power there’s absolutely no anointing but baby
Christians do get very seriously wounded and it takes them quite a while to
recover and then 0.9 out of 10 is religious Spirits false Perfection on people
they have rocd religious obsessive compulsiveness
you’re cute so that is our perfection
oh my goodness so while Jesus says my burden is light the religious spirit
places heavy burdens on of performance on people everything is in extreme you
feel justified in doing God’s work even when you when you oppress condemn and
treat people with contempt it’s terrific all right our last one
number 10 religious Spirits create isolation
and people who operate with this aspect of the religious spirit attempt to
isolate others through fear and flattery so
this isolation is said I mean peeping through the blinds is a is a good one
where you are fearful because you don’t know what to expect and how they’re going to whoop you now and what have you
done wrong now um or they flatter you and they put honey oh that is so sick
all right so flattery let’s look at that if there are those who approach you with words of flattery and smooth talk an
attempt to elevate you or your ministry above that which you know God has set out for you make sure that you avoid
such people so they will try and catch you
um with this honey and um to really discern and to say
father I don’t want any of that stuff I only want what you have for me I don’t
want um this religious stuff and then Revelation 16 verse 17 to 20
says I appeal to you Brothers to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the
doctrine that you have been taught avoid them I mean how many times have we read now avoid them avoid them right that’s
why I said I’m not going to reach back out to her yeah yeah for such persons do not serve our Lord
Christ but they own appetites and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive
the heart of the naive and so again like the guy that goes into another guy’s church and is trying to
draw the the baby Christians for his to for him to start a church
with smooth talk and flattery okay for your obedience is known to all
so that I Rejoice over you but I want you to be wise as to what is good and
innocent um and as to what is evil and so the God of Peace will soon Crush
Satan under your feet the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you what a
beautiful word to end and so the fear is So Many
religious people are focused on the end times and diligently searching for all manner of Crisis danger and threats and
that’s a huge one watch out for anybody or any Mission or any uh Ministry that
is always telling you about the problem and not offering Solutions yeah
absolutely we we are in serious times but common if we lose our hope and our
faith and we go into fear we’ve lost 100 we cannot we cannot allow fear to get near
us and so we should be prepared to listen to everyone as we will never have the full knowledge
or understanding of the word so so be teachable listen but also be very
careful we should always be measuring those thoughts against the Plumb line and the
principles of the word you must think and discern use your
sound mind that God has given you you’ve got the Holy Spirit you must be grounded
in the word that’s going to be our Saving Grace the word the word and the word promises us
that God is going to be with us he’s never going to leave us he knows exactly
what’s coming and we we mustn’t fear that’s the key God your heart against fear
don’t open up for to listen day and night just to all these fear stories and
that’s what you’re feeding your spirit with because you will then we’ve had to pray with people that went into serious
depression because of just listening to fear we said what are you listening to
are you building yourself in faith that is so important and so a good example of
this religious spirit is in two Thessalonians 2 2 to 4. now concerning
the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him we
ask you Brothers not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed
either by Spirit or a spoken word or a
letter seeming to be from us to the effect that the day of the Lord Has Come
God is telling us this is entire message be careful what you listening to we know
Jesus is coming back but he says do not be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed
that’s the fear either in your spirit or a spoken word or whatever Jesus is going to come
he says let no one deceive you in any way for that day will not come unless the
Rebellion comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed the son of Destruction
who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called God or object of worship
so that he takes his seat in the temple of God proclaiming himself to be God
now we’re not there yet things are building up we’re not there yet that’s what we have to watch Jesus
his disciples said Lord how do we know when it’s the end he said watch Jerusalem listen to my word coming from Jerusalem
and so he’s not there the Antichrist isn’t on the on the throne yet we’re waiting for the temple they’re going to
build a third Temple but but we know that the Third Temple is us we are the
living stones of God’s Third Temple but this is going to be where the Antichrist
is going to rule so we’re not part of the sea all right so now in conclusion let’s
wrap up and we see that Jesus himself gave a
wonderful message of warning but also of Hope he said do what the leaders tell you
if it’s in line with a word But be sure not to do what they do
because yes interesting what sort of role model
do you reveal is the question so you know this is something really and
I really you know we’ve we’ve taken before the Lord and saying ah Lord these
10 points have hit us it’s hit us forward what role model do we reveal what do our
grandchildren see when they look at us what will they remember of us that’s eternal
what will they take with them what are we what are we leaving behind as a legacy for them
and so will the word of Isaiah be true of your lifestyle so let’s see what does
Isaiah say Isaiah 60 1-3 arise Shine for
your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you for behold
Darkness shall cover the Earth and thick Darkness the peoples
but the Lord will arise upon you and His glory will be seen upon you and Nations
shall come to your light and Kings to the brightness of your Rising
and so our question is what are you showing to the world are
you showing Isaiah 60 arise and shine for your light has come
Jesus has come we know he’s coming again but he has come in our hearts and you
know I was thinking of do you remember when the Israelites and the plagues
and they had to they they moved um they were moving out of Egypt and the
last plague was when everything went dark I was thinking of it with the scripture
and then God said to them Goshen the Israelites who lived in Goshen
it never went dark in Goshen will we as Believers with the light
shining in our hearts will we be a Goshen
to those who are in darkness will they see the light in US
and just a reminder that a religious spirit is going to darken your light
that’s what we must remember a religious spirit will darken our light
and we will not be able to in the last days shine our light like we should because of
religious spirits attitude of the heart and character flow
may God help us common may God help us because this is something between
me personally and God yes that I will not look around to compare or judge
but I will only look single-minded at my savior and ask him to show me the
truth what is in my heart so that I can deal with it before I
stand in front of their judgment seat to give an account for what I’ve done
with my life that’s my prayer for every person that
we will really take this word to heart because this is so serious for God right
and anything that he says woe to yes sir we listen and to me like I
listen to this and I maybe I’m wrong but it feels like it’s
already happening like I feel like I can see the
ones that have the glory of God on them they they have they are brighter they
there’s a you know there’s a light there and so we’re gonna rub up against the
people who who have that darkness is my opinion yeah I agree yeah I agree yeah
no we can’t see it we can and feel it because it’s a it’s a block it feels wrong it feels
like it feels it feels like there’s like wait there’s something rubbing up against me um it it does make me while you were
speaking I was like it might be kind of cool to do a show in the future about
how to collapse the learning curve for maturity because I don’t I do know
that there’s certain things that God has for us but I also know there’s things that we can do that can keep us from
being baby Christians too long yeah yeah just a thought just a thought
um and then the role models thing is a tough one because I I think the key is just turning it to God you know yeah who
who can role model anyone can fall at any time yeah yeah but I understand what you’re saying as far as grandparenting
and and the Legacy that you’re leaving is what do you want it to look like um and obviously you want it to look
like the Fruit of the Spirit yeah yeah yeah yeah and also I mean it comes back to
remembering too I think so many people have a savior and they’re like oh I have
a savior I’m good yeah but they forget it’s a lord and savior and they’re not
holding on to that Lord peace and I think that that’s the answer right there
it’s holding on to yeah who was lording over me you even asked that question yes yes and the fear
of the Lord in a in a Godly way in in a respectful
God is God he’s Creator God you know he’s he and and just to honor him
in that way and to be very careful in how we present you know if we speak
about him or his word um that we’re very careful in in how we
present him and a lot of times um one of the things you were saying about using the the word
as the Plumb line and the principles um that’s what they’ll do though is
they’ll take the actual word of God and throw it at you with bad spirit and bad
intent yeah and that’s the that’s the now you take that and you go read it and
you see if you have that because you might not feel that same thing that they’re shoving at you yeah it becomes a
whip right where it should it should be a healing bomb
and it should draw me right you know but it whoops me and so I pull
back yeah that is so sad how many people have
pulled back and turned their back on God because of how people treated them yeah
and it’s their character issues like you said earlier um you know and back to they’re not
demonically possessed they’re they’re just people who have been you know harmed and hurt
and so why don’t we say quick prayer to end and thanks and um and then we’ll all
have a great Sunday afternoon or year evening yeah yeah okay
father we just want to say thank you for your word and thank you for opening up your word
to us and father I you know how how we as we walk through
this word and realized how subtle this religious spirit is
and how we we can think we’ve dealt with things and then it creeps up on us again
something happens and we don’t deal with it and we get hurts and and then we
Harden and father we we want to repent we want to say we are so sorry for every time
that we’ve used your word as a whoop for every time we’ve heard people where
we’ve misrepresented you where we’ve judged where we’ve manipulated
for the way we’ve compared ourselves where people saw anger in US
and not the love that that you want us to show
we are so sorry we repent
and we ask you father to to put us into the living water that is Flowing from
your throne so that you will cleanse us and sanctify us
and thank you for opening our eyes thank you for pinpointing certain things in our lives
because father we realize that this is how you feel you serious about it your word is so clear
and father we we just pray don’t let us get to that place of saying well I’m fine you know point one tick I’m
fine point two tick I’m fine father let us never get there
but father we want to choose humility we want to choose Brokenness before you
and we ask you we give you permission Holy Spirit Come
and show us if there’s anybody that we need to go and say we’re sorry we need to go and
make right with any situation that had happened
anybody that hurt us that we’re still sitting with with anger or bitterness in
our own hearts and that’s made us hard and that religious spirit had climbed onto US
it was transferred so father just show us shine your light
we welcome that we invite you to do that because we can’t even see
things for ourselves for our own hearts or are blinded
and we don’t see and so we thank you for your mercy
we thank you for your hand of Love extended to us we thank you Lord
I hmm I see such a beautiful picture of you
reaching at your hand and it’s a nail pierced hand
and saying come and I pray for those that really need it
that they will get up and they will put their hand into your hand
it’s a hand of love and it’s a hand of forgiveness and it’s a hand of Mercy
you’re such a good God and I say thank you thank you that you don’t kick us when
we’re down you don’t scold us you understand with a whoop
but you stand with an outstretched head and the tears I see the tears rolling
down your cheeks as you love that you have for your people
thank you thank you Lord that we don’t have to
feel condemned we don’t have to go and hide in a corner we don’t have to curl
up in a little ball and think we’ll never be good enough because your blood and your love makes
us good enough you created us
is nothing more that we can do you love us
we love you for that we love you back we say thank you thank you for your word
we ask that you will seal this word to our hearts and our minds walk with us holy spirit
that we will be super sensitive to you to your voice and we thank you

amen oh my gosh it’s so funny because while you were praying about the religious spirit and how it can get on
you I was like that is exactly what happened so when she came at me with
show me scripture well then I went into this whole thing about scripture I
bought the premise the premise wasn’t my heart the premise was show me scripture
and so I got so into it I probably tweeted about it for four days you know
and and I could feel it I I knew it like I knew there’s something on me like how
did she get into me like this I’ve only known her for a few days and
um it was me allowing that first thing that first attack yeah I accepted the
premise of it and said oh I’ve got to go prove to you with the word of God
um so that we can War it’s it’s a spirit of division yeah I’ll argumentative hey
yes yes and vision yeah yes and so it took me I would say it took me about three days to shake it now I I knew I
knew it was wrong um but it did take me that long to finally get right and ironically the
word helped right I’m spending so much time in the word trying to prove somebody wrong that I’m like oh yeah I’m
feeling better yeah yeah in the prayer that I realized but it
gets transferred yeah oh that’s interesting it was while I was praying about being whooped
yep I’m telling you it happened it absolutely happened and I’m so glad I
just shared that that’s so cool and that’s why prayer is so important too you know because you’re having this
conversation with the Holy Spirit and and then we both have like whoa this was cool
wow it’s amazing really I really saw that because of being whipped with the
word you now have those stripes on you yeah
I’m wounded yeah so that means I Harden yeah to protect myself which means I’m
now religious too I did I felt I felt I bought the hook like the big old fish mouth I just went
like that and um and it’s not normal for me normally like when people say stuff
on here for you I’ll just be like you know what like go go somewhere else you know or I block them if they’re
obnoxious but I think because I was seeking truth and found her I I exalted
and I’ve done it before so you’d think I would learn this lesson but I’ve exalted someone who has a Ministry over some
regular person that just has a YouTube channel like I do it’s not a Ministry you know so I gave it more credentials
and so it hurt more when it came back and I wanted to fight that
you know and it’s like dang it but it’s okay the glory is not there yet find the
glory yeah yeah yeah but I think it’s very good what what you’ve opened up I think
it is crucial really it’s I haven’t heard other people really
yeah somebody in here was saying that churches should teach this you know it’s true your yours your work
is so good and it’s so thorough and it’s it’s grounded in love and it’s so clear

pastors I’ve read about or whatever unless it’s a really good book you know

a really good book written by a pastor but the reason I share this is because

even though she had this beautiful genius in this This brilliant

um message and she could Zone in she she had a religious spirit that was so mean

and and took offense to things and you know if I asked a question or if I did

something wrong in her in her group you know without her even knowing the rules I didn’t even know the rules and then

afterwards she called me very upset like how dare you do that in my group and I’m like what did I do

um and what I did was I I had um a joyful spirit and I think that

um it didn’t match the group and I was trying to be kind and lift up my fellow

man and share my own testimony like well this is what I did and instead of that I

got literally chastised for this and I even reached out to her the next

day you know just as a peace offering hey we had talked about this just to kind of feel her out and see and she

didn’t even reply to my email and I just I know that’s not a loving

spirit and she then proceeded to talk about me on her show like you know saying get behind me Serpent you know

you don’t like literally it shouldn’t say my name which to her credit thank goodness but but everyone and there’s

only 12 of people in the group at anyone that was in that group knew that she was talking about me

um but anyway the reason I share that is because I feel like you know Iron is

supposed to sharpen iron but when you use the law in the in the word of God as

an idol rather than the heart I feel like that’s where things have gone wrong and Amanda from you you were one of the

few women in Ministry that consistently delivers delivers kindly never asks for

anything and to me you have the heart and and I I really want you to share

with people your thought thoughts on a religious spirit because I I know that this woman I’m talking about was very

overtly um angry at the world I don’t know why I really don’t know

um but uh wait the two of us could have sharpened each other right my joy could

but she’s so busy with you know the suffering and the lowly and the the

profound and I sat with it like you said and I brought it to the Lord and I

thought this is true like I should be single-minded towards God and that

know she has me rethinking what day the Sabbath should be for me and what

assembly looks like and I do I want to publicly thank her she knows who she is if she’s listening which I doubt but you

never know and um and and so if I think of any other ones I’ll share them because I I feel like they’re really

important oh I know it was rethinking the holidays Easter and and Christmas

and and instead celebrating the uh uh the Festival of trumpets and and the

new the new moon and and the Hebrew the hebraic calendar rather than the

their salvation um in an unbiblical way and so father we

just pray for for each one of us and and we just bring our hearts before you not

and the way we’ve been raised that the churches we grew up in the things that

were taught to us we just laid at your feet now and we ask you father if

there’s anything that is not in line with your word we want to give you permission

to to send your fire your Holy Fire and to burn up burn away whatever is

unbiblical whatever is religious because you hate the smell of religion and we

don’t want to be religious we want a living loving relationship with you

that’s what it is that’s bottom line how you told us to love each other to love

you first and then to love each other and so father we just pray that you will

um clearly lead in God each one of us and that we will stay humble we choose

humility we choose to Bow our knee and to say

that you and you alone are God receive all the praise the honor and the glory

it belongs to you alone we pray we pray for your blessing upon every slide every

um how to identify a religious spirit as you can see immediately we’ve got

um the religious guys cornering trying to Corner Jesus and how he just walks

out among them and they couldn’t touch it so there are quite a few incidents that we could we can look at so it’s

important to identify people with religious Spirits why yes experience was
16:48
there and you felt there’s something going on um in the spirit there was a discernment
16:53
and um I just love your honesty common the way you you just come and you put it on

the table and and you just express it and I mean this is life this is living life and

um you know so it’s something for us to think about and how do we react around
17:12
people um how do we make people feel and so they will be careful you know because
17:18
we’re not representing the father we’re misrepresenting him if that is the way

that we are going about you know so all right but we’re not judging we’re not we’re not throwing stones to not because

we don’t want to be religious so we’ll we’ll we’ll keep we’ll choose to forgive and we’ll choose to love if we’ve had

those experiences so um the religious Spirits are going to

destroy our faith and I mean you had quite a knock you know you didn’t expect it

um they seek to control or manipulate you to do ungodly things so it was like

a provoking you to anger um you know trying to stir you up and

and to see how you are you going to explode you know how will you react and

then um they’re trying to impact your character by saying you know oh my goodness you you need some training you

know honestly um you you don’t you don’t know the protocol you know there’s protocols

[Music] I I once had an experience like that too and I the first thing that was that came

at me was you don’t know the protocols

we can all tell our stories our experiences but let’s keep our hearts

humble and um ask God let’s be teachable and ask God is there anything hiding in

our own hearts that we’re not aware of that he will shine his light and he will

bring It Forward because he’s in charge he’s God all right so the people with the

religious Spirits are going to do all these horrible things to us um there’s a principle that we need to

follow and that is people operating with religious Spirits are not demonically possessed and this is what’s important

because we can also on the other side of an attack

judge and say oh they’re full of demons you know or whatever it’s it’s not it’s

they’re not demonically possessed there’s something else going on here it’s well and and it is interesting

because she did say like you get behind me Satan when she was talking about me on her show so she obviously thought

that that I I was very evil and it was just the opposite for me I I never

thought she was demonically possessed I actually like I said earlier I felt like

she really had a connection to God and that’s why I feel like she will come around yes yes sorry I didn’t mean to

interrupt because I I just had to share I think it’s been an agreement that that she will we stand in agreement that she

anything in me that was wrong the way I I treated people you know Common

all right it’s an attitude of the heart and that’s a difficult one to see because it’s a blind spot

and even David couldn’t see his own heart and that’s why he went before the

father and he cried out and he said father test my heart and that’s something we should be doing regularly

so when you hear a teaching and and let’s take this one on religious Spirits let us pray the prayer of David and say

father I don’t even know what is hiding in my own heart but I bring my heart

before you now and if there’s an attitude that’s wrong in my heart I ask you to highlight it

Shine Your Light because in your light I see light but without your light I don’t

see light it’s a blind spot and I’m going to be deceived and I don’t

want to be deceived and so I I’m asking God to show anything any attitude in my

heart that’s wrong it’s a character flaw and so there’s obviously maybe hurting

the past there’s that’s why I prayed the way what church were you raised up

because that you know the way you’ve been taught for years and years and okay we don’t do it like that in our church

you know that kind of attitude is wrong um judging another person just because
21:35
you you’re not you’re not in the same flow or um it’s really to be open with
21:41
one another and to learn from one another that’s what what the kingdom is all about and so um you know if there’s

a character flaw it could be some wound um that’s hidden that you haven’t that
21:54
you haven’t brought to to the to the Cross yet um you know but whatever it is it’s

hiding and it’s it’s a blind spot so we really need God to shine his light

um for us tonight and then the definition of religious spirit is people who have a religious Spirits are trying

to do or become whatever pleases God and so it sounds very Pious it sounds very
22:21
right right virtuous I just want to serve God I just want to love God I just

want to do what God wants me to do but then my heart is not I’m not loving

but I’m showing everyone and I’m telling everybody but I’m doing what God is telling me but but my heart is not

that’s not what I’m portraying I’m I’m portraying a hard heart there’s something that hard in my heart and so

maybe maybe there’s a mother issue and we’ve I think we’ve spoken about this common we you know you’ve ministered to

people and if they’ve had mother issues they’re going to project it onto you and they’re going to test you they’re going

to see you know how you’re going to handle that so there’s some dark spot that you not seen that causes you to be

religious it is a character issue and an attitude of the heart

so although you’re saying hey but I want to please God but when I say this I’m

using man-made works and traditions or rules

that I’m trying to keep by so that God will be impressed with me

and and and and and then he will he will bless me and and that is totally the wrong heart

the wrong attitude and that’s where you’ve had a very strict up strict

upbringing yeah um um where you were more afraid of the

pastor than God um you know we’re we’re his rules or you
23:57
know who who whatever mom or dad or that there was just some very strict

um upbringing and that has put you in a box and when you’re in that box you say

and you can’t think outside you can’t see other people and you can’t listen to

other people you’re not listening to the other side of the story you made up your mind but it’s all you it’s man-made it’s

man-made works so if I didn’t read so many chapters a day if I don’t lead so

many people to the Lord per day a God won’t be pleased with me you know I remember the story I think it

was a y wam guy that he he had this thing he’s got to lead a soul to Jesus every day that was his

standard his own standard and it was late it was like 11 30 it was nearly 12

o’clock in the night and he was still walking the streets looking for a soul to lead to Jesus he tried the whole day

and he couldn’t and and it was a you know late and that’s when God spoke to him and

said to him what are you doing and he said but I’m trying to lead us you know someone to you Lord that’s that’s our

our deal and he says not my deal is yours yes it’s these man-made things it’s some

some load that was put on me and it’s a burden yes it’s not a joy

and so I’ve got you discern if it becomes a burden

then it’s not the Lord then it’s man-made I’ve been stuff has been put on

a religious spirit will control and judge others according to their own

standards so if that’s my standard of I’ve got to win so many souls or I have

to keep you know some so many chapters I have to read so much I have to pray and

and so I tend to judge and so I’ve got to be so careful not to judge people

all right so what is genuine spirituality what is God saying to us

that I’m not a religious spirit what does God want from my heart

and so it’s a Biblical relationship or service that is measured against the

Plumb line of the word it reflects the degree of circumcision of the heart the

heart and so maybe I’ve just been circumcised

a little bit in my heart yeah yeah I’ve had a meeting with God so it doesn’t mean to say that I don’t

you know I’m not serving God and I am reading the word and but how much have I

allowed God to circumcise my heart right so that’s very very important and

allowed to go through the pain allowed to go through the tears the seeing

yourself for what’s really inside um the shock at seeing who you really

are and then you realize without God I’m nothing I’m nothing God can lift his

hand any moment for my life it’s just grace and grace alone

and and his love for me I can’t earn I can’t earn he made me he created me

it’s like a mommy and a daddy that made a baby and and it’s not a a question of they have to love the baby they do I

mean it’s supposed to be out of the heart that baby knows mommy and daddy love me

unconditionally you know I don’t have to perform but there are children that grow up in a house to perform

absolutely also in a spiritual house you have to perform because the pastor

his heart hasn’t been circumcised really deep right and so he’s got all the rules

and and things that he puts upon his people all right so attributes of a religious

spirit there are 10 examples so we’re going to run through these 10 examples

okay um the first one is you are emotionally stiff

rigid or always comparing and this is talking about

in a hot hot yeah because it’s emotions you’re not

really connected you’re only connected with yourself me ma and myself or your brain like you’re

mentally like you get it but you haven’t embodied it yet like you’re not living it you understand it you can explain it

because I mean no one’s really um explains some of the stuff in the Bible to me in the short time that I’ve

ever spoke to her um better than she has I she really had a grasp on it

that’s excellent and and and we need to be able to hear that side as well you

know right so that was my point it’s kind of weird right yeah yeah it’s sad it’s sad and so the whole thing is

emotionally stiff you know so you know I’m in charge I’m in control

and um that’s the way I do it and then rigid or always comparing you’re comparing

yourself and that’s horrible you know God says don’t compare yourself because you are always going to be too you know

better then or less then and then you forever you can’t relax

because you thought you so you know emotionally you are so

um there’s such pressure on you all the time because you’ve got to be the best you gotta win

you know and so this is a horrible one this first one it just shows that emotions have been hurt these are wound

these woundedness and you have hardened your heart to protect yourself

okay so order is needed it is important God is a god of order and so we all need

to understand how God intended the body of Messiah to operate there is there is

order God has got order and so um when there’s chaos we’ve spoken about it

before then nothing will work so we need a god of order so it’s not now okay just

check order all out the window and just let’s go for whatever we feel like doing no there is order needed and so however

we have been given the freedom of choice and the sound mind so I’ve got to think I’ve got to use the

Mind God has given me which means that we should be testing the word presented

in spirit and truth and so whatever comes to you whoever teaches you doesn’t

matter how many pedigrees they’ve got or whatever titles they’ve got you still

test the word you still test the teaching you go before God you use your

sound mind and you use the word of God and you check and you see is what this

person is saying even Amanda please go and check is what what what I’m saying

is it correct and so you need to

um you know be be testing use your head although there’s order yes God is a god

of order but still I can discern and that’s what happened with you common is

that something in jail in your spirit something hits you no I could tell I

could tell pretty quickly um and it I ignored it um it was interesting because when I

wanted I had reached out and said hey I would be interested in being a part of your small group or whatever and

um she qualified me and I was going to ask you

about that so I’m glad this came up she said that Paul qualified the people in

his church and um I I haven’t found that yet in the Bible but trust me I I don’t know the

whole body Bible at all but is that anything that you’re aware of

it’s I think it’s pretty difficult to because it’s such a fine line because

are you judging right will you open

I I you know it is a very I can understand when it comes to

a group of counselors that you have to train and you have to entrust other people to them right that you have to

look a little bit deeper you know that uh that you’ve got to look at marriages you’ve got to look at personal lives you

know that kind of thing um you’ve just got to sort out um and make sure that everything’s

covered there and that they don’t get hurt and you and and there’s not an open door right but to be a student of the

word like a Bible study it was uh it was assembly she called it assembly

um which is like her version I guess of church and and so I

I ignored how bizarre that comment was one because

I didn’t know for a fact that it wasn’t in the Bible but two I was so

um I guess that that tickling of the ear thing happened to me yeah I was so like

wow what she’s teaching is so amazing um and it felt like it was strong right

and so but then um while we were talking and she was

telling me that she’s like oh but don’t worry like that Paul did that for his church um you know he qualified people or

whatever words she used and and then she said usually people do one of three things usually they’ll come and they’ll

just ghost it or the they’ll coast along or and I

the uh life coach in me recognized a sort of grooming like I want you to

behave a certain way in this assembly you know what I’m saying um and and looking back I you know I

should have just at that point in time said something feels wrong in my spirit and so let me think about it

um but I didn’t you know this is how we learn and this is how we

um we strengthen um the ability to discern even the

subtleties yeah God was teaching me I think yeah

yeah and you know just to just to sit in and learn in a Bible study

um it’s very difficult to discern if a person

how could you know in one phone call and that’s why I felt like it was a grooming process like here’s what I’m telling you

before you go in here yeah so I don’t know though yeah well

well let’s give her the benefits of the dots and absolutely you should ask her

um you know what would be her criteria because that would be interesting to hear you know so it would be criteria so

because surely only God knows our hearts we don’t even know our own Hearts you

know so okay so we must test the word that gets presented and then um this religious

spirit that brings rigidity people that have a religious spirit are forever comparing themselves with others they

quick to perform works but want to be recognized for their

piousness so there’s the pride you know so it’s perform performing I’m doing all

of this and I’m so many hours and this and that yes that was actually used

yeah so they want the recognition and then they will see their Good Deeds as a
36:27
process of Salvation instead of a means of reflecting the will of God towards
36:33
others and especially when it comes to and I will share it because that we put in one
36:39
scripture um saying don’t let anybody judge you about the feasts and the and new moons
36:46
and whatever whatever you know so we’ll talk about that but

if you want people on board if you want people to hear what you’re saying

well the way you say it the heart

you’re supposed to draw people to the father and not push them away and not hurt in

the process you know not misrepresent but anyway

we will um it’s just let’s check our own Hearts if the if we are sharing with people make

sure that you are drawing them to the father and not pushing them away or putting

them off because if if people are put off and they were hungry and they were open
37:37
to start off with what have you done what’s in your heart that has got them to pull away

so that’s a question we should all ask if we’re sharing a word with someone and

suddenly they just shut down are they not ready for it

um you know then you’re gonna wait a while or whatever but it’s there’s still got to be an ending in love they’ve

still got to be the love of the father that that we show all right so um this religious spirit

will take the full glory for their works so it’ll be because of the insecurity

and Brokenness and and and and their heart that’s that not whole

um they want the glory because they want to feel good for they want to hear that

was such a good word you know this was so good um because that is what they thrive on

that’s what makes them makes them tick so they will either look down on others

who do less or be jealous of others whom they perceive to have done better so it’s

this comparison thing you know my children when they went in the house and children

growing up and they’ve got all sorts of things you know as they as they grow and get older

um this comparison thing we would take them to the wood and show them listen the Bible God is saying don’t compare

yourself because no but she got more than more than half the sweet then I

than what I did you know that type that comparison the whole time but it’s not only in our families our our

Earthly families it’s also in God’s family we we’re jealous you know that one got more anointing than me

why does this one get to be the eyes and I’m the hands yeah yeah oh the foot yeah

right I’m a piece of hair no I’m kidding yeah so um it’s just it all comes down to

insecurity and Brokenness from our childhood if you really it’s it’s the attitude and the character that that

you’re not at peace with God because there’s still areas that you’re feeling God loves others more than me I’m so

afraid somebody else is going to get the Limelight and not me you know so um it’s there is if if you get to a

place where you can just rest and know God is in charge and whether I have the microphone or not

it doesn’t matter you know it’s God God that must get the glory

and so such people will not be able to relax as they are constantly measuring

themselves against others so they’re the whole time striving it’s just you know performance striving thing that’s

horrible really something chasing you right a good example of this religious

spirit is in Luke 18 verse 9 to 14 he also told this Parable to some who

trusted in themselves that they were righteous and treated others with content

he said two men went up to the temple to pray one a Pharisee and the other a tax

collector now that’s uh because Rowley was an accountant and trained up in books and

things he he always jokes and he says no he really needs some extra Grace for the

tax guy

himself prayed thus God I thank you that I’m not like other men extortioners

seriously there’s good material here for a comedian yeah yeah I’ve I’ve watched

twice a week I give tides of all that I get I mean wow well done

and then the tax collector standing far off would not even lift up his eyes to

heaven but beat his breasts saying God be merciful to me a sinner he knew he

knew the state of his heart and that’s the key that’s where we must be we must know

that without God I I’m nothing I’m nothing I really need God with my whole

heart I tell you Jesus says this man went down to his house Justified rather than the

other I mean that is that is such a hard word and so for everyone who exalts himself

will be humbled but the one who humbles himself will be exalted and that we must always remember

so God’s kingdom is about choosing humility and rather choose the humility before

God because then he can lift you up then what you are lifting yourself up and

trying to tell God how good you are and what you what you are doing but God knows he knows it all but I’ve seen that

as well in ministries online where people are saying I don’t ask for any money I don’t ask for any money I don’t

ask for any money and they say it like if you watch like you know maybe 10 of
42:59
their videos they say it nine of the ten videos um that’s not humility no

no no not at all it you don’t need to really say it you

know it’s not necessary to say God knows God knows and so such people will get

the reward on Earth and not in heaven so that’s quite a wake up because we
43:26
hear so for such a short time and our reward is waiting for us in
43:31
heaven and if I’m going to take the glory and tell you know how good I am and compare
43:38
myself with others and that I am much better than that one or that one then I’ve got my reward
43:44
so it’s just something to keep in mind all right the second Point religious

Spirits are argumentative stubborn and or angry argumentative you do agree they
43:58
focus more on doing things right than building loving relations relationships

probably because they just can’t like you were saying you you probably nailed it on the head the very first comment

and that is that there’s probably some sort of issue with nurturing in mother

um because it’s the only reason you’d be that way and that’s why I do believe it’s very loving and very uh Christian

to walk away from an argument that’s causing pain even if you know that you
44:34
could win it yeah it’s not worth it no it’s not worth it yeah really and like

you said God knows yeah yeah and that’s that’s the most important person that’s got to know you know and that comes back

to self-validating which is something people have to be able to do and not worry about caring about what this
44:55
religious spirit believes about me I’m going to hold on to what God believes about me and I’m going to take it before

him I might be wrong yeah no exactly okay so people who present these

attributes listed the following scripture uh do not like to be confronted

um with the truth in any way so they don’t like it if you do raise points

that concern you um they immediately are defensive angry

push back um don’t want to listen and who are you to tell me you know I’ve
45:32
been in Ministry 40 years and what can you tell me so you know we’ve all got
45:38
our little stories how we can justify ourselves so they do not like to hear any criticism disapproval of any
45:45
teaching that they have given or any action that they have taken so they just can’t handle
45:52
um that something is is not right um at seven verse 51-53

this is interesting scripture it says you stiff-necked people uncircumcised in heart and ears

you always resist the Holy Spirit as your fathers did so do you which of
46:16
the prophets did your fathers not persecute and they killed those who announced beforehand the coming of the
46:23
righteous one whom you have now betrayed and murdered you who received the law as delivered by
46:29
angels and did not keep it and so his stiff-neck people you know
46:36
it’s this yeah it’s rebellious it’s uncircumcised

in heart and ears in other words what I feel emotionally and what I hear I’m
46:47
uncircumcised so that means I’m gonna hear things wrong you’re going to say something but I’m going to hear it totally wrong yeah

you know it’s twisted it’s twisted and because I I have you know I’ve got this

attitude in my heart that’s wrong and the character flaw and so um the scripture goes on and it says now

when they heard these things they were enraged you can imagine just hearing you

know being told you stiff-necked and you you murdered the prophets they came and told about Jesus and so they were so

angry in the and and they they ground their teeth and so you know as they were
47:28
biting on their teeth but Stephen full of the Holy Spirit gazed into
47:35
heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of
47:40
God and so they this is when they were stoning him and because of what he said
47:47
um but but he could look straight into heaven and I am so sure he didn’t feel one
47:53
stone I think God just took him and he spoke the truth he he really

really opened up some religious things that was going on there and accusations and maybe it’s something good to go and

read a little bit you know in act seven about Stephen and the stoning and and just get a bit more of the background

but it it’s really something to to think about because also where it says

um they ground their teeth at him it makes me like rewind all the times I’ve

seen basically narcissistic people just bite

their their their their their teeth they clinch their teeth so hard and then they they do that thing with their eyes where

sometimes their eyes roll other times they stare like it’s

that’s what it looks like yeah when when they’re being confronted yeah

yeah so you know you said that there was a word that this person had said and that

was keep your eyes on the Lord was that keep your single Vision yeah

and and that’s what Stephen had he he absolutely had a single Vision he was just looking at God and that’s where our

eyes should be father are you happy with the way I’m treating these people Emma am I representing your love am I

representing your heart um you know or am I pushing people away

and so yeah if there’s pain we just pray that God will reveal any pain in our own

hearts father please bring it to the lot so that we can deal with it

all right so we also see that argumentative stubborn and angry

tell people why they are wrong sorry I’m just gonna flip this one

consequently what will happen with these people that are argumentative stubborn and

angry is they’re going to tell people why they are wrong you know what this is

what you’re doing wrong and I mean that can be hurtful and especially if the person is wanting to learn

and and open and then you get the slap you know

um why they are wrong you know they will not listen to the other side of the

story that it’s just their side of the story is what what counts and they will attack the character of those who

confront them so that sounds like the description you gave of a narcissistic person they will

never admit that they are wrong and will sell them if ever apologize

instead you know yeah I mean she ignored my my my peace offering oh I mean just just

throw something out see if she’ll respond because I’m very open to um having hard conversations a lot of

women aren’t but the problem sometimes is the other person isn’t and so you can kind of send

something across see if they’re open to it or not and if they’re not then you just leave them alone yeah yeah that’s right rather that then

then have a horrible oh confrontation you know which is

really not necessary and it can stir up so many so many things sure yeah so they

will look to demonstrate their Superior knowledge teaching impatiently come on don’t you

understand why are you so throughout understanding I’ve known you for two hours get behind

me Satan well that’s a hard one

okay they teach out of context and it’s more about knowing than serving in

truths I think that’s a key so I can be very puffed up with what I

know I can both descriptives I can give it to you and really I can think well this is

it God must be pretty happy with me I’m not serving I’m not serving in truth

and if I look at the attitude of Jesus he took off the towel and he washed the feet so

if if you back off and you’re not going to argue you’re not gonna respond you’re

not gonna react you you just back off and you keep the peace

yeah you know God he sees that right and and that’s his heart is not to go and

stir I mean there were times Jesus just walked right through them I mean they were shouting all sorts of things and he

just he just walked through them didn’t say a word right you know so I think he he’s a very

good example yeah he is and it’s interesting you say that because um one of the things that I did do uh to check

myself was to look at the things that made Christ angry and it was fascinating

because um the little children coming to him he he was upset with the people that were

no let the let the little children come to me and I think that’s the overall spirit

um because so many of us are little children are we’re not emotionally uh

mature even though we are physically mature and yeah to give Grace and allow

for Christ to allow them to have access to Christ Without You interfering yes

yes absolutely yeah that that that is very special

okay finally they’ll they’re just gonna cut you off so I mean that is that is like the

inward you know honestly you’ve just wasted my time and

and that’s it and then you cut kind of like left stunned you know what’s what’s just happened now

that’s quite sad um but that’s that’s the the character

flaw again the hardness of heart so the Third uh point that we see around religious

Spirits they make judgments based on outward appearances

oh I don’t know if if it happened in the States but I suppose I think we probably

somebody saw it there and brought it here but it was this lady was a was in drama

um but she was a born-again Believer and doing Christian drama and that so she

dressed up as a beggar a drunk woman you know painted the teeth like it
54:39
looked like she had missing teeth and her hair was wild and really scruffy and
54:44
dirty and and so um she was sitting at the door and as the people came in she
54:50
would nah you know big and and so people oh shoot just go away you
54:56
know we’re going to church now just go away so and then eventually the pastor came

around and um he also tried to chase her away and so she actually shuffled her way to
55:10
the front and I said no but she would like to attend
55:16
and then as she was there and the people were so upset they were really I mean
55:22
they were voicing it very loudly the disgust that they felt for This Woman’s
55:27
junk and what is she doing in a church and that I mean this is now really getting the religious spirits to

manifest and eventually she took off everything and she showed them but I’m the guest

that you’ve invited she’s so good you know and oh good that is profound

they they zipped it it just didn’t know what to say but they were they were
55:53
revealed their hearts were revealed and that’s quite scary you know to but but it’s it’s also Grace

common if God chose this to us before we get to the Judgment seat sure thank you

we can deal with it now yes our judgments of outward appearances

oh man this is so easy to fall into this trap yeah the Life review will be much

so instead of getting to know the heart and the circumstances you know the the

um American Indians have quite a saying put on my moccasins

and then we talk yes because a moccasin is soft and it

takes on the shape of the foot so if you put on someone’s moccasins your feet aren’t going to fit there it’s

gonna be uncomfortable but once you put it on you’re going to be able to know where they’ve walked

what has happened to understand their life before you judge

and we so easy to judge you know I remember ministering in a

place and in Germany and and the school came in and she was so high on drugs and

really blasted and so dirty hadn’t bath for ages and her hair was all dirty and

she came in and she you could see immediately she doesn’t
57:32
fit you know she’s not part of the service at all and um a friend of mine used to be a hippie

um and and so she understood exactly and she went to this this girl and sat next
57:46
to her and she couldn’t speak German and and she just started praying in the spirit
57:52
and held it and by the end of the service the school was sober and we
57:57
could minister to her and she was a prostitute that had come from East Germany uh come over to West Germany to

try and do something with her life you know um but a year later we found her at the
58:10
church still clean soba beautiful beautiful little dress

hands lifted worshiping God so that’s love that’s the love of the

father now we judged her on the outward we would have oh you know yes so and that’s like when I

worked with the guys out of jail um the one that you know came and lived with us and stuff I mean he he he had

such a temper and he he said this publicly so I’m not speaking out bad about him without him knowing

um but it’s funny because we’re now I don’t know 10 11 12 years later and in

the last like three four years he he calls me on a regular basis you were right about this thank you for thank you

for watching me act like a brat and still loving me and and that really was

that situation of I could have called him out and said you know if you don’t

act like The Godly person I want you to act like then you’re out of here but you can’t you can only Reach people where

they are yeah that’s right that’s right yeah and then and the thing is it did

bring good fruit you know he came back to you and he reported to say thank you so so in spite

of all the facade and the hardness which was just a cover yes of a little boy you

know yeah um it still went through so the Father’s Love did get through yeah so that’s a

good testimony and so how do they judge they’ll use their own standards

to judge and that’s you know that’s what that’s

what we do so we need to be so careful we need to okay what am I thinking you

know when I see a person what do I think about them right um you know am I

judging them already and I don’t even know their story um there’s a lot of poverty in South Africa

as I think worldwide we we’re seeing it getting really interesting and

and so people are really in need um and it’s so easy it’s so easy to

judge and we have to be so careful and so you know let let us just ask Holy Spirit

to to Quicken our hearts the minute we analyze

that that he will get our attention in whatever way that we will realize you know what are

we doing so that um yeah we we won’t judge on outward appearances religious Spirits

work hard on their own image how’s that it’s not a comfortable one and so rather

than revealing their true heart so they’ll rather have this you know perfect look

and um that’s more important than opening

their heart and showing you know this is who I am and so there are a lot a lot of

times you you can you can meet people but you meet the image

but you never meet the heart and and you never get to know who is

this person you know it’s always what I look like you know it’s this

image that um people what people should should think of me and so this religious spirit reveals the
1:01:43
nature of a hypocrite oh it’s a horrible thing ah so in very real terms they are actors

playing a role with that which they show in public is very different to that
1:01:59
which they live in private that’s painful

I don’t want to be an actor I don’t want to be an actor for God I want to be real

you know when you work with did SRA people and they start with their
1:02:18
memories then many times they will come and touch me and touch my arm and say oh you real

what is real are you real because they’ve been so in virtual reality and

um drugs that they don’t know what is real

and and so when they can touch me then I say I am real I am Amanda you know they

can feel me um and so it’s it’s this religious

spirit you can’t get there you can’t get there

you you you’re working with an actor who’s playing role

because I I’ve got to be the pastor where I have to be the leader of ministry or the worship leader whatever

there’s a role but it’s it’s not their heart

you know so this this acting oh it when we were working on this one that really

hit me hard you know so I have a question just on that exact one

when it says in the Bible um do not you know no one on earth should call me you should call someone

father and there should not be leaders it actually says that

um why do you think the church is set up leaders like I know there’s got to be an

order like you said to the way that we but I I do find myself confused on some

of these things because they are the complete opposite of what the Bible says to do because if you think about the way

a home church was probably conducted back then

um how how who was the leader was it a coming together you know what I’m saying

arena and people would sit and then they would watch plays that would take place on the

um you know on on the stage and a lot of what was going on in the
1:04:56
Roman time was then taken on by the

church church yeah that makes so much sense yes so so this is the actor thing

and because we were there it hit us because the word that that is that was
1:05:14
used for this um Gathering of where this Arena where they would sit like in an Amphitheater

and then the stage at the bottom sure is called um it is the same word as Church
1:05:29
interesting and I was like whoa you know it was it was quite a shock and then
1:05:35
realized how much of that Roman way and paganism was brought into
1:05:44
in so many ways in so many ways and I feel like that’s what I personally am going through is a clearing out or
1:05:50
getting rid of the fat and just trying to to get down to not acting not leading
1:05:58
just sharing my testimony sharing what I’m going through um

and and asking questions having discourse like we are I mean it’s how we learn and I love that you can admit that

you know you’re here you are in front of you know thousands of people saying you know it it hit us hard

yeah it’s really cool because God’s the shepherd right God’s the leader yeah and and the thing is if

we keep that in mind we weren’t loaded over people because

because Jesus is the shepherd and and all we we
1:06:38
are doing is we just facilitating a group and what is so good within the
1:06:44
home fellowship is that you have feedback from other people it’s not just
1:06:49
one voice that’s talking you know Jesus didn’t tell his disciples

um meet me once a week in the temple and listen to a sermon for an hour

right they were getting together and having conversations about the Lord they
1:07:11
shared what they were experiencing yeah they did a lot together so that’s
1:07:17
what it is to walk with with the Lord every day it’s every day it’s a getting up you
1:07:24
know I’m driving showering you know what my every day what I’m doing with God in
1:07:31
talking with him all the time and what is so great is to get feedback from the
1:07:37
people because it enriches yes because everybody can add you know and and it’s
1:07:43
not it’s not a controlled one-person doing their thing you know right and if
1:07:51
they are those that want to learn and maybe they’re a bit off track then you know to bring a gentle correction and
1:07:57
let’s look at the word and but it’s the way you do things right or you can keep the people or you’re going to chase them

away right so that that is so important and yeah this whole thing about actors

was was was quite a wake up so good yeah so these days we so often see
1:08:17
leaders who have taken a stand against a particular sin and judge those involved in public
1:08:24
humiliating you’ve seen that and then the sad thing is and yet later
1:08:29
on they fall into the same trap because what you said to reap
1:08:35
you know so it’s so so it’s one needs to be so careful even if a leader has
1:08:41
fallen into sin and has got into trouble be careful that you don’t fall into the
1:08:49
same you know so so it’s just just watch watch what we say and what we think
1:08:56
so um that we just rather lift them up before the Lord you know so that yeah
1:09:02
and in some cases like if you can like you said gently do it but trust that God
1:09:09
will if you can’t you know really believe for them
1:09:15
that they will it that’s what I think of as when I think of the concept of with
1:09:20
faith of a mustard seed I’ll move a mountain and that is to with faith hold

like I am over that woman like I really believe in her I really believe in her connection to God and I believe I can’t
1:09:33
do anything and so yeah I’m just gonna I’m just gonna let God do his thing but

I will hold that Vision of Love over her yes yes now agree I agree yeah

okay so good example of this religious spirit the one that judges um is in Matthew 23 verse 25 to 26 so

this is the um person that judges the outward appearance so woe to you scribes and
1:10:02
Pharisees hypocrites for you clean the outside of the cup and
1:10:07
the plate but inside they are full of greed and self and Indulgence you blind
1:10:14
Pharisees first clean the inside of the cup and the plate that that the outside Also may be clean
1:10:23
so this is you know where you’re building your image and that’s all you’re interested in but nobody checks the heart nobody can get to your heart
1:10:30
and you because you’re covering up the the wound you know the woundedness but it’s coming out in the sharpness and the
1:10:37
way you’re treating people and so we see um verse 27 28 woe to you
1:10:45
scribes and Pharisees Hypocrites for you are like white washed tombs
1:10:50
this this is scary common because a tomb is death yeah you’re talking about a
1:10:56
corpse yeah you know which outwardly appears beautiful but within is full of
1:11:03
dead people’s bones and all uncleanness yeah I mean to be compared to a tomb of
1:11:09
rotting you know somebody that’s decaying it’s quite radical and so you also
1:11:15
outwardly appear righteous to others so people think ah what a what a what a
1:11:21
spiritual person you know they know God they pray whoa but then
1:11:27
you appear righteousness you are full of hypocrisy and
1:11:33
lawlessness and so oh man we can put up we can be such good actors aren’t we yeah you know
1:11:40
we had masks and for every occasion you
1:11:45
have a mask and you cover it you you don’t show your heart right it’s a whitewashed tomb The Mask has the is the
1:11:53
tomb and then what’s inside is death yeah absolutely

okay Point number four of the ten religious Spirits like a religious activities and this is where legalism

comes in yes all right so here we have

um religious Spirits our Performance Based they enjoy religious gatherings
1:12:16
that don’t produce Life Changes read that one again
1:12:24
religious Spirits are Performance Based so something’s got to happen gotta do it
1:12:30
they enjoy religious gatherings that don’t introduce life-changing and just
1:12:36
keep picking up your cross every day it’s always suffering and suffering you
1:12:42
don’t come to Joy wow I mean that’s the ultimate place for
1:12:48
us to be because if you look at frequencies common just aside
1:12:53
um but if you look at at the negative emotions like ah you
1:13:00
know I’m carrying this is a burden for the Lord and um it’s been to so many people you know
1:13:05
then that’s a very low frequency so you know but the minute you get to Joy because
1:13:12
the joy of the Lord is my strength you’re talking about another frequency yes and and you know that is that is
1:13:22
where I get my strength from so even although you spend hours working you
1:13:28
know people say how do you keep your mind when you’re working with so much darkness and occultic stuff and you know
1:13:35
all of this then I don’t think that way because I have such fun with the Lord
1:13:42
yeah you know in between I have such joy and and God puts joyful people and my
1:13:50
grandchildren you know around me to to pick up my joy and that’s to pick up my
1:13:56
frequency so that I will be strong in him and and and have that Joy
1:14:03
you know but when I go down into that and this is this religious
1:14:10
it’s miserable yeah and that was the debate that we had she was upset with me
1:14:15
for talking about joy and so when we talked offline because I left it alone
1:14:21
until we got on the phone um I said but it you know I don’t
1:14:26
understand why why glorify you know the suffering why glorify aren’t we supposed
1:14:32
to lift each other up and I said when you think about the fruit of the spirit Joy is one of the nine aspects and
1:14:41
um she goes where does it say that in the Bible and I was like how do you miss that one
1:14:49
um but but that comes back to my thought which was when even you and and you you can tell
1:14:58
me because I’m sincerely curious because I’ve gotten to a place where I can sit
1:15:03
in the presence of somebody who I know is in so much pain because of the lies
1:15:11
that they’re believing but I know that it’s God that permitted it it’s God that
1:15:18
that is doing a work in them that is so far beyond me I can’t even fathom it I
1:15:25
just know my role and my role is to hold the fruit of the spirit I want to be the
1:15:31
tree that’s got the you know the Fig growing on it not the one that Christ is going to cut down yeah exactly and also
1:15:40
what about the ExAlta gift you know if you don’t have joy and you how else do you exalt someone to have
1:15:47
hope to take courage to forget your presence you know
1:15:54
so we’ll pray we’ll pray for her we really will and so um these these people with this
1:16:02
um religious spirit they read the Bible because they are supposed to rather than being captured by the spirit
1:16:10
um so in other words from from the mind to the heart you know really feeling the
1:16:15
anointing of God on the word throwing stones is easy for them to do
1:16:22
so that’s not a not a comfortable one and so the signs that we should look for
1:16:28
the the burden burdensome rules and regulations which are not defined nor
1:16:35
required by God so if there’s rules put upon you and
1:16:40
regulation This Is How We Do It and you know
1:16:46
you stick with us and then you can come but otherwise no and so it’s these but it’s
1:16:54
not in the word there’s no way in the Bible that you can find these rules it’s men
1:17:00
it’s man it burdens you know so some of these Traditions may be prophetic
1:17:06
actions suitable for a certain circumstance but can never become mandatory right which is what people try
1:17:13
and put up you know not at work then so we’re going to now make a recipe of it
1:17:18
and then it becomes this burden it becomes heavy and there’s the joy is
1:17:24
gone you know that that freedom is gone yeah because I’ve now taken this as
1:17:30
rules and regulations we must remember that when while Jesus tells us he kept
1:17:36
the Commandments and that we should do the same and that his burden is light
1:17:43
but words of condemnation if you fail to adhere to non-biblical rules man-made
1:17:51
rules are spoken over you results in a heavy but yes
1:17:59
so Jesus kept the Commandments but it was never heavy he did it with joy he
1:18:05
did it out of love and so even when the Pharisees when he was healing on the Sabbath
1:18:11
they wanted to Stone him and and you know you could it was you
1:18:17
know and he he rebuked them and you know told them I’m busy with God’s work
1:18:24
you know so it’s it was man-made rules and regulations that was put upon him
1:18:31
and and he and he just shook it off and he walked and he did what the father told him to do
1:18:37
but the thing is when when you when you part of a almost a cult
1:18:44
that’s what it felt like a cult yeah we man-made rules or put there
1:18:49
because this is how we do it and all it is it’s it’s a protection for
1:18:56
their own insecurity sure you know I see that 100 percent

it’s not biblical and so it’s very sad when you feel this
1:19:07
burden coming on you and just thinking you know when when I started down the road it was no makeup
1:19:14
no no slacks no jeans um I mean it was all these don’ts do’s
1:19:21
and don’ts yeah rules and I thought but I’m young and I still want to enjoy life
1:19:28
I don’t want you now look you know and you can’t color your hair and
1:19:34
you can’t do nails and you know all that type of thing so no but that’s how I came in and then
1:19:42
it it kept me actually from giving my life to the Lord because I was thinking if I do because I had the fear of God on
1:19:50
me get true fear of God no turning back you you’ve got to know
1:19:57
what you’re doing and and and I knew that if I do then I was I was saying but
1:20:02
Lord I’m still so young and I want to still you know have fun and enjoy life and I I had this terrible home with a
1:20:10
dad that was drinking and no no I want to go art and I want to enjoy life and
1:20:16
but no how can I serve you and you know and be a young person just all totally
1:20:23
messed up and it was man-made it wasn’t biblical stuff
1:20:29
it wasn’t in the Bible you know so yeah we we can put so many heavy things on
1:20:35
people and really it’s we chase people away we’re not
1:20:41
showing the father The Father’s Heart to them and so we see a good example of this
1:20:48
religious spirit is in Colossians 2 verse 16 and 17 therefore let no one pass judgment on
1:20:55
you in question of food and drink or with regard to a festival or a new moon
1:21:01
or a Sabbath okay this was what you what you had to do with um these are a shadow of the things to
1:21:08
come but the substance belongs to Christ so how do we then deal with this this
1:21:15
question and so it’s very important now this does not mean that you should not keep God’s
1:21:23
feasts or his other Commandments and because many times people will use that scripture and say well I don’t need to
1:21:30
keep anything you know but that’s not what the scripture means
1:21:35
um we are called to be obedient to what Jesus is requiring from us as his disciples he’s given us his word it’s
1:21:43
loving instructions from the father and we are to keep them in love not as a
1:21:49
burden but because I love you Lord and then do not let people judge you for
1:21:55
the way that you do so under the leading and the guidance of the Holy Spirit that’s the key that should you keep the
1:22:03
feasts should you keep the new moons should you do those things that God says
1:22:10
then don’t let people judge you for the way that you do so under the leading and
1:22:16
the guidance of the Holy Spirit um you know commonly was a time in the
1:22:22
beginning when we started to hear about the biblical foundations that these are God’s feasts they’re not Jewish feasts
1:22:28
and okay but what is God saying to us in these feasts we would look at the Jewish
1:22:34
the Jews right and we would follow the the the pattern you know we would follow
1:22:40
the the pattern and do it that way and then because we were Spirit-filled God started speaking to us and telling us
1:22:47
but a lot of the things is tradition it’s not in the it’s not biblical right
1:22:53
all I ask do is keep the Sabbath I don’t tell you what you must do all the other stuff is
1:22:59
added stuff by men and so we started to go through the
1:23:04
feasts and only do what the word says so that’s why we underline leading and
1:23:09
guidance of the Holy Spirit and so if you’re Spirit-filled obviously
1:23:15
the holy spirit is going to lead you yes and and we don’t pray out of a pray book
1:23:20
for example um because those are man written man
1:23:26
written yeah out of our hearts right you you know we do it really led by the Holy
1:23:32
Spirit and and and there’s such extra things like for example you can’t mix meat
1:23:40
and your your your meat dish with milk
1:23:45
and they took it from a scripture where where they they said don’t boil
1:23:53
a cough in its mother’s milk uh and from that they did this whole thing
1:24:01
where you’ve got to have two zincs two lots of dishes yes I didn’t even know
1:24:06
that until recently my daughter told me about that like literal houses with two kitchens in them yeah absolutely and all
1:24:15
this is all man-made it’s not in the Bible it’s in the God doesn’t expect it from us right so
1:24:21
there’s so many added things because the rabbis thought I’m going to add some
1:24:27
extra fences but the rabbis put it there it’s man-made it’s probably a religious spirit at that
1:24:35
exactly you gotta call it yes they have no joy in them so they
1:24:43
want to spread the the misery yeah so so it’s and it’s it’s not God’s way at all
1:24:49
and that’s why we feel it’s so important that should you if God opens us up for
1:24:55
you and this is what you feel to do and you look at at God’s feasts and you look at the days and we’ve got Feast of
1:25:00
trumpets coming up now yeah on the 16th of September and and I remember Derek
1:25:06
Prince and some other big preacher I remember the
1:25:11
name both died on the Feast of trumpets wow and there was a huge shift that took
1:25:19
place there was like a earthquake that hit Israel at a stage and so so huge
1:25:25
things happen on God’s days these God pointed feasts yeah not Jewish it’s gods
1:25:33
and do you think Satan steals those um in your experience okay so do you
1:25:39
celebrate the Feast of trumpets yes oh that’s cool what do you do for it
1:25:45
um we take the little ones we teach them to blow the shofar and we tell them to to let you they must make a noise and
1:25:53
wake up the church wake up the bride so that because Jesus is coming back and you know because that’s that’s the
1:25:59
trumpet that blows the final puppet that will blow so all the feasts are exactly
1:26:04
what Jesus told us and prophetically what’s coming because up until the the
1:26:11
outpouring of the Holy Spirit those feasts are fulfilled but the four feasts are still to come
1:26:18
we’re still practicing it’s they’re a shadow so in other words the 16th of September is God’s day and
1:26:26
um that’s when we blow the shofar and we we declaring the king is coming the king
1:26:33
is coming and so we gotta wake up wake up the church and so with a blast of a
1:26:39
shofar so people are blowing shofars you know for 30 days before the time it’s like every day you just blow the show
1:26:45
for once and on the last day you blow it and blow it so that the church is awake and then the next is your um
1:26:53
the is is your your Tabernacles and so um that’s such a beautiful feast and
1:27:00
that is where the bride where we’re going to have the seven days of wedding celebration
1:27:05
and so the way we teach feasts is I say that God loves parties
1:27:12
and so when when it’s his party time he asks us to come come to the table
1:27:18
because there’s a big feast and so that’s the scripture that says that the people didn’t want to come and
1:27:25
then he had to go into the lanes you know all over and sell them come and
1:27:31
he invited them to his table and so um there’s such depth in the
1:27:38
messages they’re such nuggets that you can glean out of the word that we don’t
1:27:43
know if you don’t know the feasts you don’t understand right but if you start tapping into God’s pattern and he’s not
1:27:52
celebrating and we we started small we started really as I said to you know what we were doing you know but I think
1:27:59
God smiled at us every week but we tried our best and um and then we started to
1:28:05
throw it out man-made stuff because that’s not what God expects of us roly grew up uh a total atheist
1:28:13
so they never went to church they went to church once a year um Christmas day they went to church and
1:28:20
just said hi to the to to the pastor and that was it so he couldn’t understand
1:28:25
that we we were Dutch reformed so we we went every Sunday and um but it’s a
1:28:32
beautiful day come on go to the beach yeah so yeah it doesn’t have one
1:28:39
religious hair on his head and he smells religion like he knows immediately when there’s this religious stuff and that’s
1:28:46
why it’s been such an awesome Journey for him to to walk down this road and to
1:28:52
see what God’s word really says right and dig for the nuggets and so yeah he’s he
1:29:00
just loves the word he just loves you know but the true being led by the
1:29:06
holy spirit is the key yeah that is in common yes and not to fall into any
1:29:12
religious trap and put another burden you know and and be weighed down by
1:29:17
man-made rules that’s not biblical yeah so we really need to discern or
1:29:24
man-made rules that use the legalistic um they legalistically abuse God’s word
1:29:30
yeah absolutely yeah you know rowley’s teaching um coming up now he’s going to teach on

the lies that women have been told about about you know that they lower
1:29:42
class he’s now going to say what did Jesus come and do for the woman so once he’s
1:29:49

called me and you tell me what am I doing what must I tell him how do I answer him so God took

me two scriptures the one is in the Old Testament the other one is in the new and it’s about the Donkey

and I went to balaam’s donkey and God said to me was it a he or a she donkey that’s the

reason she donkeys yes it should be my donkey and then the New
1:31:09
Testament when they had to bring Jesus Road on a donkey into Jerusalem and he

said have a look again it was a she donkey he says all you do is carry me that’s all you do that’s what you tell

him you’re obviously carrying me Hallelujah I’ve got my answers

Spirits you know that you have to face all right the petty arguments and
1:31:34
discussions on matters which do not affect your salvation for example how are you baptized you know three times

were you done you know there’s some and then there’s a whole
1:31:47
big story about that too so yeah it’s and then and then we we you know you make big arguments around that you know
1:31:54
and it doesn’t affect my salvation you know I’m serving Jesus if there is of

course occultic stuff that I need to deal with sure then I need to deal with it but if I know that I’m born again and I know

I’m God’s child and you know so we we can really go into things that are so
1:32:13
unnecessary the religious spirit leads you down bunny trails we see that the rabbis created fences
1:32:20
around the Commandments with the idea that it will help to protect a Believer from falling into a trap
1:32:26
and so that’s where all the man-made stuff that they added you know the kitchens and all of that which is
1:32:32
absolutely Twisted I mean it’s really not truth and so um this is also true in many
1:32:39
churches today so it’s it’s it’s not just the rabbis that do those things but also in churches where they’ve added
1:32:47
extra rules thinking I’m going to keep the people safe but all I’ve done is I’ve put a burden
1:32:53
on them because I’ve added to the word right and God says don’t add to the word
1:32:59
you know so um you’ve got to be so so awake you must know what the word says and so it’s
1:33:07
important to to really be in the word yourself all right scripture to back this up is
1:33:14
Matthew 23 it says woe to you scrubs and Pharisees you Hypocrites for you tithe
1:33:21
mint and do and cumin and have neglected the
1:33:27
weightier matters of the Lord Justice mercy and faithfulness
1:33:33
amen so I’m busy weighing the mint I mean I was just looking at the mint
1:33:38
leaves you know and I’m thinking and they are so religious about the the mint and the
1:33:44
dill and the cumin you know that they they don’t show the love of the father
1:33:49
right so they’re so so caught up in how much am I actually giving of the mint
1:33:56
and this is what Jesus is saying woe to you scribes and Pharisees these you
1:34:02
ought to have done without neglecting the others Justice mercy and
1:34:07
faithfulness that’s what Jesus is saying so you can just see you blind guides
1:34:14
straining out a net and swallowing a cow
1:34:21
that’s what our religious Spirits do so okay number five any sign that some
1:34:28
people are the Elite While others are just commoners that tells you we’ve got to be careful
1:34:35
yeah our group is superior to everyone because we believe this yes so
1:34:42
legalistic people will focus on the deeds and or practice rather than the
1:34:47
principle so it’s how I do it do I light the candle when where’s the sun I must look
1:34:54
exactly you know and it’s it’s really man-made stuff
1:35:02
you know it’s not part of the word and so I must go with the principle
1:35:09
all right now uh an example of a woman that’s caught in the act of adultery
1:35:17
um Jesus when they bring the woman to him he will judge the sin
1:35:23
so he doesn’t endorse what she’s doing he’s not happy with with what she’s doing so he will judge the sin go and
1:35:30
sin no more but he will not deviate from the principle
1:35:37
and the principle was that both male and female would be guilty they only brought
1:35:43
the woman so they brought again the woman is now the one to blame it’s the woman that’s
1:35:49
caused this man to sin and Jesus says no ways it takes two and
1:35:56
he says it doesn’t help that now you want to judge this woman but where’s the man so he’s sticking to the principle
1:36:03
of if you get caught both need to be addressed
1:36:09
so he addresses the sin he tells It Go and sin no more but he won’t deviate from the principle
1:36:16
and he says both male and female would be guilty and only those without sin
1:36:21
should judge so if we if we then look at the scripture and that is the scribes and
1:36:28
the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery and placing her in the midst they said to him teacher
1:36:34
this woman has been caught in the act of adultery now in the law of Moses
1:36:40
Moses commanded us to Stone such woman so what do you say so I mean this is
1:36:46
absolutely you know trying to stir an argument to see what what is he going to
1:36:52
say this they said to test him that they might have some charge to bring against
1:36:57
him Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground now this is
1:37:03
interesting because if you see this what Jesus is doing and you go back to the
1:37:09
Old Testament and there’s exactly if you write with your finger in the sand
1:37:15
then it’s a it’s it’s a form of of a judgment but you arrived it in the sand
1:37:23
and Jesus does exactly he plays it up from the altar they knew the Old Testament and yerry is he just bends
1:37:30
down looks down and he starts writing in the sand and as they continue to ask him he stood
1:37:35
up and he said to them let him who is without sin among you be the first to
1:37:41
throw a stone at her and once more he bent down and wrote on the ground because he knew nobody
1:37:48
was without sin he knew he knew they knew what’s in the Old Testament and he
1:37:54
was just he was just reinforcing it now and they knew that that they were caught
1:38:01
out and so the the next thing is but when they heard it they went away one by one
1:38:07
beginning with the older ones and Jesus was left alone with a woman standing before him Jesus stood up and said to
1:38:15
her woman where are they has no one condemned you and she said no one Lord
1:38:22
and Jesus said neither do I condemn you go and from now on sin no more
1:38:29
and that’s so beautiful that is so beautiful um it’s so just it’s so fair it’s so
1:38:36
right you know this is God and and it was so
1:38:41
beautiful that he just released her and he said I mean what a word to hear from
1:38:47
from your creator don’t say no more and nobody could throw a stone nobody could
1:38:54
judge her and not even Jesus who could have judged her did
1:39:00
because the man wasn’t there so it that was it
1:39:06
it was so beautiful he he he really reinforced her as a woman and released
1:39:12
her and blessed her to go so it was so beautiful in this example

yeah and I mean literally back then I mean she would have been like a total like yeah

absolutely because she was like what didn’t they say she was married like
1:39:30
five times or something like that yeah do they ever say who she was
1:39:35
like do they know who who it was her name I’m going to look at the

new ways in the present and so that means you’ve stagnated you you had this experience 40 years ago and that’s all

um and whenever I go to a place I always look for something fresh I want something fresh because I don’t like

repeating myself telling the same things you know for you I really do try and get

experiences you had because those were those experiences that that God brought you that day yeah yeah people are

conforming and people are creatures of habit and so I think it’s a default mechanism the brain uses

um it wants the fastest easiest route to things because it is trying to be efficient but sometimes it makes for

all right Point number seven religious Spirits are closed off to change or they insecure

and so religious Spirits keep us from looking at new and fresh moves

they are suspicious and critical of any new thing happening

so what’s this new thing now you know what is going on it’s not the way we used to do it

uh because they themselves are unsure whether they will be honored

so if there’s a new thing now and I mean I I’m seeing it as I’m I’m growing older

in as let me say wiser um in in the ministry

um when the young ones are up and coming I am so excited because I’m seeing and

I’m hearing fresh things and I’m hearing beautiful I mean the cloud has moved times have changed we are not you know

working with so much media and um things that we didn’t have many years

ago right and so um to not be threatened by it to be

challenged and so how can I learn you know right right and so

um yeah not to be suspicious or critical about what God’s doing because it’s in

these people don’t want change in fact they want things to remain just as they

consistency they believe because they maintain the standard that they should be recognized

you know and I know that sometimes when we’ve had a couple of friends of ours

been in Ministry for years and had to hand over the Baton and that’s pretty challenging

to know to hand over and just you know even rolly when he when he retired and it’s

also handing over the back you know that you know that you that it’s gonna that the work you’ve built you worked so hard

on and you know you want fresh wind you want fresh new things but it’s just is

it going to flow is it going to flow so yeah I think it’s difficult in all walks

of life is this transition but to keep your hearts open yeah and not be insecure

so these people will reject any new move of the spirit based on their feelings and will avoid it

so they’ll just stay at home and and not be part of whatever God’s doing and because of their own fear of change

and so you need to if that’s there then you need to say father why why do I have fear of change what is

causing me to to pull back a good example of of this religious
1:46:31
spirit is in again Matthew 23 but woe use scribes and Pharisees Hypocrites for

you shut the Kingdom of Heaven in people’s faces for you neither enter yourselves nor

allow those who would enter to go in this is a very serious scripture
1:46:51
where you actually kind of like stand in front of the of the door you say you’re

not going in and I believe that is exactly what happens and the stones aren’t physical

Stones they’re verbal Stones yes yes but remember the person is a Livingstone

the way and instead of welcoming you and inviting you into the kingdom

and so hello to you scribes Pharisees Hypocrites for you travel across sea and

land to make a single proselyte and when he becomes a prosely like you make him

twice as much a child of hell as yourselves

it makes makes you realize common that this religious spirit

is very close to hell yes I mean

and you know my natural tendency is to give people hope like that’s just how I

um and then for you to use the exact scripture of the fruit of the spirit

yeah but it’s it’s quite serious to think where are you with the religious

spirit I mean you are taking away the light that other people could be seeing

you standing in the light and making a dark and many of them so justified in teaching because they

are so intelligent but their heart hasn’t been circumcised or it’s been partially like you said you know what

I’m curious about as I’m sitting here and you probably know but he Jesus always says Whoa like it’s like he’s

lamenting or something do you know what what that means whoa

well it’s it’s sometimes it’s it’s it’s couple of woes you know that God is

really serious and getting your attention and it’s a it’s it’s a very strong reprimand yeah

that’s what it seems like yeah and and this is how he feels about the religious

spirit so it’s so serious that when roly and I when we were putting this together we were just thinking

this is something that we really need to go before God each one of us because you

are taking the light away if you have any religious spirit in you you’re going

to make a dog for other people yes that’s scary that’s really scary

okay so what we then see is these people will blow their own trumpets

by using TV or Facebook or whatever and highlight the fact that their position

is still blessed and correct you know I’m okay I’m fine I had a

prophet prophesy over me you know I’m on track and I’m really

spreading the word correctly you know and all that so it’s justifying

um because they’re so afraid uh to and insecure yeah and a lot of

them openly attack other Ministries yeah yeah poof that is scary they do all
1:50:53
their deeds to be seen by others for they make the oh man
1:51:00
philactories now that is the Box that the Jewish guys

they bonded up with leather and now they’re making the Box bigger

and bigger so that people can see me yes they do it on the streets of Jerusalem

it’s such a funny thing I didn’t even know it was real until about three years ago

yeah and and they’re doing it on the streets so the guys would come let’s say they’ve been in the Army and they

they’ve got a bit of a break and they come there and then they have this Rabbi wrap them and then but but it’s the

pride thing and I’ve got this box I’ve got I’ve got the Torah now you know on

my but it’s it’s a it’s a physique it’s a physical thing that should be spiritual right in other words I must

have the word of God in my mind and I must have the word of God in what what I

think and what I do right that’s really the message it’s not in the Box you know what I’m

saying that the religious guys put it in the box and and I walk with my box but I

I mean nothing I’m just bragging but I’m not changing the world I’m not

showing the kingdom you know where I should be I’ma speak the word I must know the word but I must

do the word as well that’s the meaning of it but then I make and I have these

fringes extra long they call them foot seats you know and

then they make them long below my knees and so because my fringes are so long and yours are so short you know

marketplace and being called Rabbi by others so this is now you know Jesus is referring to those in his day but we’re

seeing it in the church today as well common you know it’s there so Point number eight is about manipulation this

is interesting religious Spirits have a misdirected zeal that drowns out tears people who are

Weeping people that are broken come on you know pull yourself together

you don’t need to cry you don’t cry about everything and so they use this
1:53:23
misdirected zeal but they use manipulation

right they’ve done it and so what I’ve found is they very quick to judge what

we as counselors do but they don’t counsel not one of them right
1:53:38
but if they have problems oh no go and see her because she does counseling we don’t waste our time with
1:53:45
that and they very very much you know to to say negative things but
1:53:53
that’s do you counselor how many people have you canceled so well get into counseling then you’ll learn you know
1:53:59
and get compassion and so they there’s manipulation that happens

okay religious Spirits use their Zeal as a weapon to drown out tears and to condemn rather

than to build up isn’t that sad you don’t have enough faith

have you fasted because people come with their problems and they cry

you know okay do you have enough faith have you have you read your Bible enough
1:54:30
have you fostered about this you know so hard it’s Zeal but it’s a weapon right

and that you hurt people they can point out problems but sell them offer any solutions right these people will govern

and create fear in a Believer and then control by guilt isn’t that sad

all right they will attack the young believer the immature Believer by creating fear
1:54:56
that the other posture that they are listening to is out of touch so let’s say a person with a religious
1:55:03
spirit comes to visit an assembly and they look around and they see these
1:55:09
young believers and then they go to them and they say well you know this guy doesn’t really have the truth you know he he’s a bit
1:55:17
out of touch um you you really shouldn’t be here so that they trying to gather followers
1:55:24
they want to create their own church they that they are in the wrong Community because the spirit is not
1:55:30
moving you know I didn’t sense any moving of the Holy Spirit here you know and that’s how they then back
1:55:37
bad mouth the pasta and speak to the young ones and it’s it’s very cruel what they are
1:55:45
doing and that the correct word is not being taught here if you come to me I’m studying a Bible study and I will teach
1:55:53
you I will help you you know it’s that manipulation
1:55:58
and then they draw people away in the form of rebellion and that is another kind of evil it’s
1:56:05
one thing to put stuff out there and you you gather the people who are like-minded but to go into someone

else’s Ministry my gosh yeah now that’s very very cruel that’s very evil

okay so this is a type of a manipulation that you can find you must be in the right standing with a
1:56:27
leader you know if you’re not in the right standing with a poster then bad things are going to happen you know
1:56:32
you’re gonna lose your job you’re gonna da da da da da you know you’ve got to be in right standing with the pastor

you must be you must submit totally to the leader you do nothing unless you
1:56:46
check it with the leader let’s become a cult it’s such control and manipulation you
1:56:53
cannot question the leader’s actions in any way you don’t dare say anything about but
1:56:59
why are you saying this why are you doing this you you can’t do that get behind me Satan yeah

that’s what they would say yeah you need to approach the leadership for their approval of all decisions that you make

so if you want to buy a house you’ve got to get their approval if you want to go on holiday you need their approval you

know whatever it’s it’s scary what is going on in churches today

and it’s religion it’s all religiously religious this is not God’s way this is not the kingdom of

God and so people that don’t know get caught into a trap

and so you cannot attend meetings of another denomination or a group
1:57:45
don’t you dare go to somewhere else you only listen to me I’m the pastor and you
1:57:51
don’t go to any other Fellowship you don’t visit anywhere else you come to me and you are rebuked and humiliated in

public oh my that is horrific that is really horrific and that has
1:58:04
happened I mean I’ve had people you know I’ve had to pray with people about the wounding and repent on behalf of
1:58:12
leadership for what is who’s done that to people yeah yeah but that’s very sad really a good example

and for some people it’s just enough to keep them from the Bible again yeah

exactly get them to backslide you know because it’s it’s not God so 2 Timothy 3

verse 5 and 6 is having the appearance of godliness but denying its power avoid

such people for among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women
1:58:44
burdened with sin and Lead astray and led astray by various Passions
1:58:49
and so what God is saying clearly avoid such people don’t go when they appear to
1:58:56
be Godly but there’s no power there’s absolutely no anointing but baby

Christians do get very seriously wounded and it takes them quite a while to
1:59:08
recover and then 0.9 out of 10 is religious Spirits false Perfection on people
1:59:16
they have rocd religious obsessive compulsiveness

you’re cute so that is our perfection

oh my goodness so while Jesus says my burden is light the religious spirit
1:59:34
places heavy burdens on of performance on people everything is in extreme you
1:59:41
feel justified in doing God’s work even when you when you oppress condemn and
1:59:46
treat people with contempt it’s terrific all right our last one

number 10 religious Spirits create isolation
1:59:58
and people who operate with this aspect of the religious spirit attempt to

isolate others through fear and flattery so

this isolation is said I mean peeping through the blinds is a is a good one

where you are fearful because you don’t know what to expect and how they’re going to whoop you now and what have you

done wrong now um or they flatter you and they put honey oh that is so sick

all right so flattery let’s look at that if there are those who approach you with words of flattery and smooth talk an
2:00:36
attempt to elevate you or your ministry above that which you know God has set out for you make sure that you avoid
2:00:43
such people so they will try and catch you

um with this honey and um to really discern and to say
2:00:55
father I don’t want any of that stuff I only want what you have for me I don’t
2:01:00
want um this religious stuff and then Revelation 16 verse 17 to 20
2:01:07
says I appeal to you Brothers to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the
2:01:15
doctrine that you have been taught avoid them I mean how many times have we read now avoid them avoid them right that’s
2:01:23
why I said I’m not going to reach back out to her yeah yeah for such persons do not serve our Lord
2:01:30
Christ but they own appetites and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive
2:01:36
the heart of the naive and so again like the guy that goes into another guy’s church and is trying to
2:01:43
draw the the baby Christians for his to for him to start a church
2:01:49
with smooth talk and flattery okay for your obedience is known to all
2:01:56
so that I Rejoice over you but I want you to be wise as to what is good and
2:02:03
innocent um and as to what is evil and so the God of Peace will soon Crush
2:02:09
Satan under your feet the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you what a
2:02:15
beautiful word to end and so the fear is So Many
2:02:21
religious people are focused on the end times and diligently searching for all manner of Crisis danger and threats and
2:02:28
that’s a huge one watch out for anybody or any Mission or any uh Ministry that
2:02:37
is always telling you about the problem and not offering Solutions yeah
2:02:43
absolutely we we are in serious times but common if we lose our hope and our
2:02:49
faith and we go into fear we’ve lost 100 we cannot we cannot allow fear to get near
2:02:57
us and so we should be prepared to listen to everyone as we will never have the full knowledge
2:03:04
or understanding of the word so so be teachable listen but also be very
2:03:10
careful we should always be measuring those thoughts against the Plumb line and the
2:03:15
principles of the word you must think and discern use your
2:03:20
sound mind that God has given you you’ve got the Holy Spirit you must be grounded
2:03:26
in the word that’s going to be our Saving Grace the word the word and the word promises us
2:03:33
that God is going to be with us he’s never going to leave us he knows exactly
2:03:39
what’s coming and we we mustn’t fear that’s the key God your heart against fear
2:03:47
don’t open up for to listen day and night just to all these fear stories and
2:03:53
that’s what you’re feeding your spirit with because you will then we’ve had to pray with people that went into serious
2:04:00
depression because of just listening to fear we said what are you listening to
2:04:05
are you building yourself in faith that is so important and so a good example of
2:04:13
this religious spirit is in two Thessalonians 2 2 to 4. now concerning
2:04:18
the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him we
2:04:23
ask you Brothers not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed
2:04:29
either by Spirit or a spoken word or a
2:04:34
letter seeming to be from us to the effect that the day of the Lord Has Come
2:04:40
God is telling us this is entire message be careful what you listening to we know
2:04:48
Jesus is coming back but he says do not be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed
2:04:55
that’s the fear either in your spirit or a spoken word or whatever Jesus is going to come
2:05:03
he says let no one deceive you in any way for that day will not come unless the
2:05:10
Rebellion comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed the son of Destruction
2:05:16
who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called God or object of worship
2:05:22
so that he takes his seat in the temple of God proclaiming himself to be God
2:05:27
now we’re not there yet things are building up we’re not there yet that’s what we have to watch Jesus

his disciples said Lord how do we know when it’s the end he said watch Jerusalem listen to my word coming from Jerusalem

and so he’s not there the Antichrist isn’t on the on the throne yet we’re waiting for the temple they’re going to

build a third Temple but but we know that the Third Temple is us we are the
2:05:54
living stones of God’s Third Temple but this is going to be where the Antichrist

is going to rule so we’re not part of the sea all right so now in conclusion let’s

wrap up and we see that Jesus himself gave a

wonderful message of warning but also of Hope he said do what the leaders tell you
2:06:20
if it’s in line with a word But be sure not to do what they do

because yes interesting what sort of role model

do you reveal is the question so you know this is something really and
2:06:35
I really you know we’ve we’ve taken before the Lord and saying ah Lord these

10 points have hit us it’s hit us forward what role model do we reveal what do our
2:06:49
grandchildren see when they look at us what will they remember of us that’s eternal
2:06:55
what will they take with them what are we what are we leaving behind as a legacy for them

and so will the word of Isaiah be true of your lifestyle so let’s see what does

Isaiah say Isaiah 60 1-3 arise Shine for
2:07:13
your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you for behold
2:07:18
Darkness shall cover the Earth and thick Darkness the peoples
2:07:24
but the Lord will arise upon you and His glory will be seen upon you and Nations
2:07:31
shall come to your light and Kings to the brightness of your Rising
2:07:38
and so our question is what are you showing to the world are
2:07:45
you showing Isaiah 60 arise and shine for your light has come
2:07:51
Jesus has come we know he’s coming again but he has come in our hearts and you
2:07:58
know I was thinking of do you remember when the Israelites and the plagues
2:08:06
and they had to they they moved um they were moving out of Egypt and the
2:08:11
last plague was when everything went dark I was thinking of it with the scripture
2:08:18
and then God said to them Goshen the Israelites who lived in Goshen
2:08:26
it never went dark in Goshen will we as Believers with the light
2:08:35
shining in our hearts will we be a Goshen
2:08:40
to those who are in darkness will they see the light in US
2:08:46
and just a reminder that a religious spirit is going to darken your light
2:08:55
that’s what we must remember a religious spirit will darken our light
2:09:00
and we will not be able to in the last days shine our light like we should because of
2:09:08
religious spirits attitude of the heart and character flow
2:09:14
may God help us common may God help us because this is something between
2:09:22
me personally and God yes that I will not look around to compare or judge
2:09:32
but I will only look single-minded at my savior and ask him to show me the
2:09:40
truth what is in my heart so that I can deal with it before I
2:09:46
stand in front of their judgment seat to give an account for what I’ve done

with my life that’s my prayer for every person that
2:09:57
we will really take this word to heart because this is so serious for God right

and anything that he says woe to yes sir we listen and to me like I

listen to this and I maybe I’m wrong but it feels like it’s

already happening like I feel like I can see the

ones that have the glory of God on them they they have they are brighter they

there’s a you know there’s a light there and so we’re gonna rub up against the

people who who have that darkness is my opinion yeah I agree yeah I agree yeah

no we can’t see it we can and feel it because it’s a it’s a block it feels wrong it feels

like it feels it feels like there’s like wait there’s something rubbing up against me um it it does make me while you were

how to collapse the learning curve for maturity because I don’t I do know

that there’s certain things that God has for us but I also know there’s things that we can do that can keep us from

um and then the role models thing is a tough one because I I think the key is just turning it to God you know yeah who

who can role model anyone can fall at any time yeah yeah but I understand what you’re saying as far as grandparenting

and and the Legacy that you’re leaving is what do you want it to look like um and obviously you want it to look

like the Fruit of the Spirit yeah yeah yeah yeah and also I mean it comes back to

remembering too I think so many people have a savior and they’re like oh I have

a savior I’m good yeah but they forget it’s a lord and savior and they’re not

holding on to that Lord peace and I think that that’s the answer right there

it’s holding on to yeah who was lording over me you even asked that question yes yes and the fear

of the Lord in a in a Godly way in in a respectful

God is God he’s Creator God you know he’s he and and just to honor him

in that way and to be very careful in how we present you know if we speak

about him or his word um that we’re very careful in in how we

present him and a lot of times um one of the things you were saying about using the the word

as the Plumb line and the principles um that’s what they’ll do though is

they’ll take the actual word of God and throw it at you with bad spirit and bad

intent yeah and that’s the that’s the now you take that and you go read it and

you see if you have that because you might not feel that same thing that they’re shoving at you yeah it becomes a

whip right where it should it should be a healing bomb

and it should draw me right you know but it whoops me and so I pull

back yeah that is so sad how many people have

pulled back and turned their back on God because of how people treated them yeah

and it’s their character issues like you said earlier um you know and back to they’re not

demonically possessed they’re they’re just people who have been you know harmed and hurt

that we’ve used your word as a whoop for every time we’ve heard people where

we’ve misrepresented you where we’ve judged where we’ve manipulated

for the way we’ve compared ourselves where people saw anger in US
