hello and welcome back Kingdom Living Community this is writing the storms
which we are still in our series of release of the forward marriages and that fast and so this is a continuation
of that so if you’re just Landing here now for the first time today uh you
might want to back up just a few episodes on both riding the storms and rise up the Wednesday evening show to
catch all of the various elements that we’ve been moving through in this fast that Jesse’s been taking us through and
so a few announcements before we get started and make sure you grab your notebooks and your pens is that the

you know as you’re sharing your testimony I know that it’s so wonderful

wonderful so you’re gonna love it if you haven’t seen it all already and a few

um for those that follow Jesse and what she’s up to and also in George Iceman on
reveal reports because the glory to God Tour is back yay in Orlando Florida yes
um gonna be the the first or second week somewhere in there and right but not if he hasn’t he hasn’t issued a date yet
correct correct yeah it’ll be uh Jesse George and a special
guest that I’m Going Bonkers because I can’t wait to find out who it is because I have sneaking suspicions but that’s
all you’re gonna love it yay so that’s the first couple weeks of
May somewhere in there and then at uh the middle of the back half of May May
18th to the 20th will be the healing Retreat that is going to take place in
Austin Texas more details to come but that’s exciting you’ve got a got a lot
again oh you’ve got a lot that’s gonna be a time you know get ready to come
work on your your grips and gritty grit nitty-gritty stuff that needs to be
worked through so that’s going to be an amazing time and really it’s it’s about giving people
tools and helping them work through stuff so that is going to be outstanding
there’s there’s nothing like doing that and actually doing doing the work and experiencing such breakthrough so yes so
bring all of your great bring your luggage bring the spiritual bag it’s Geelong too so it all this just all get
dealt with at that Retreat that’s gonna be great okay so this this week’s
episode and continuation of the fast my goodness um from beginning to end so thorough so
applicable and actually like easy to do really if you just break it down bite by
bite and that’s what you have been doing week after week is is breaking it down and making it simple and everyone can
participate and feel and know the results which are incredible so this one
you entitled redeemed for love which I’m
just like uh you know that my heart’s already like oh this is so beautiful this is absolutely beautiful so take it
take it away what are we looking forward to yeah absolutely well you know I wanna I wanna look at you know as we’re
working on this foreign you know foreign marriages fast as the Lord called it
um you know we’ve been breaking down sexual altars we’ve been you know seeking deliverance from our thought
patterns from anything that makes us unclean or unrighteous we’ve been building up our relationship with the
Lord you know as we learn to Delight in him we seek to be obedient to his will
and um as we become established in that relationship with him one of the things
that we have to do is work through past relationships many of us have wounds in
those past relationships and um you know things that make it hard for us to uh
you know move on and be in right relationships so
um you know we want whatever relationship we’re in we want it to be a right relationship before the Lord
so one of the big Concepts is you know learning that in spite of our past
relationships that the Lord has redeemed us to be in a love relationship with him
and with other people um that’s not plural is in marriage or
polygamy I’ll clarify that but it means you know we’re meant to be in different
forms of relationships that are based in love um you know whether that’s marriage
whether that’s relationships with your children whether that’s relationships with
parents friends co-workers the core of that is is really meant to be love and
you know with with that sexual intimate relationship being within marriage only
and within that um marriage design that God created so
you know one of the first things that the Lord kind of put on my heart for This was
um this beautiful chapter um out of the Book of Ruth and Ruth is
is really one of my favorite books um you have this
you know the story kind of has three main characters at first you have Naomi
uh who is married to a a man named elimelech and she has two sons melon in
Chilean and they move from Bethlehem and Judah
to Moab and we know you know throughout the Old Testament that Moab was really not a
place for Israelites to be it was a place of you know multi-god worship uh
you know they worshiped all sorts of Fallen beings they were known to be Wicked they were known for a lot of the
sexual sins to ball and astroth and in that
both Naomi you know Naomi goes there with her husband and her sons and they
take for themselves moabite wives and one of those women is Ruth
and um as The Story Goes On um Naomi finds herself in a place where
her husband has died and shortly after that both of her sons die as well
and her and their wives are found in a position where um you know
they they have to return to the land of Bethlehem and Naomi you know tells her
daughter-in-laws to go their own way you know go back to your people go back to the land you know your land your people
but Ruth refuses to leave her ruse says you know your God is my God your people
are my people and Ruth won’t leave her so together Naomi and Ruth go back to the land of
Israel and they find themselves in hard times you know back in those days to be
unmarried or to be widowed was really a bad position to be in because
um you know men were the primary providers in the society
and so Naomi says to Ruth you know go and glean wheat behind the workers you
know in one of my kinsmen’s fields and so as we get into chapter two
why don’t you start reading that and read through verses one through seven
now Naomi had a Kinsmen of her husband’s a man of wealth of the family of
elimelech whose name was Boaz and Ruth the moabitus said to Naomi let me go to
the field and glean among the ears of grain after him and whose sight I shall
find favor Naomi said to her go my daughter and Ruth went and gleaned in a field
after the Reapers and she happened to stop at the part of the field belonging
to Boaz who uh who was of the family of elimelech and behold Boaz came from
Bethlehem and said to the Reapers the Lord be with you and they answered him
the Lord bless you then Boaz said to his servant who was set over the Reapers
whose Maiden is this and the servant set over the Reapers answered she is she is
the moabitish girl who came back with Naomi from the country of Moab
and she said I pray you let me glean and gather after the Reapers among the
sheaves so she came and has continued from early morning until now except when
she rested a little in the house so here we have this beautiful story and
you know Ruth doesn’t even ask to glean you know off the stalks like the workers
does she has to glean from the sheaves the things that are left on the ground
um you know the refuse that which would have been considered waste because it
had fallen on the ground and um in that as we go on it says then Boaz
said to Ruth listen carefully my daughter and do not go and glean in another field do not go from this one
but stay here with my Maids let your eyes be on this field to reap and go
after them indeed I have commanded my servants not to touch you and when you are thirsty go to the water jars and
drink from what my servants draw then she fell on her face bowing to the
ground and said why have I found favor in your sight that you should take notice of me since I’m a foreigner and
Boaz replied to her all that you have done for your mother-in-law after the death of her husband has been fully
reported to me how you left your father and your mother and the land of your birth and you came to a people that you
did not know so just such a beautiful passage that
um you know there’s some truths in there that I think are important as we look at past relationships whether
you know whether you were married or not married um when we have a loss of a relationship
there’s grief that takes place there and what did Ruth do in her grief
um one we see that she didn’t stay alone she aligned herself with Naomi who also
was grieving um you know this isn’t necessarily In
this passage but I think you know what’s important is um especially if you know there wasn’t a
death that ended the relationship that there needs to be forgiveness
um of those ones of those past relationships and the second thing we see you know is
that the grief is acknowledged and the person who acknowledged it was Boaz you
know that that what you have done for your mother-in-law has been reported to
me and you left your family you left your people your land and you came here
to care for your mother-in-law and to stay with her so he he acknowledges her
grief and how important is that in our past relationships just or in our
current relationships to acknowledge that the other person may have past
relationships that there might be pieces that of that that they’re grieving right
and and to just say you know I acknowledge that grief I acknowledge
that you were hurt in the past I acknowledge the things that you went through and it doesn’t mean you have to
know all the details but even just acknowledging that that you you know
that there’s hurt there’s wounds there there’s things that are going to need tenderness going forward in a new
relationship um and Boaz you know in that Grace that he
extends to her he says don’t go don’t go to another field like you don’t have to
leave things are just you know you’re here you’re fine you’re safe and you
know I’m considering you not a servant but you have all the rights that they
have you’re free to whatever um you need if you need water if you you
know whatever you need um you know you’re considered among my servants where you can take the same
rights and privileges that they have um so really that was a Grace in those
days that um you know she didn’t have to glean for him or you know didn’t have to
do the work that the servants were doing yet she was afforded the same privileges
that they were so it was almost like he gave her free benefits you know and was like here here’s the benefits they’re
all yours um you know take what you need and
um you know there was no monitoring no anything because we know you know what’s
amazing in that is that you know the wheat that’s left behind is the hardest
to pick because it’s in the ground it’s you know in the cracks and the crevices
along the sides um you’re picking it up piece by piece instead of you know off a stock when you
do that you’re getting a whole bunch at one time and yet she comes home with so much that
Naomi is like oh my gosh where did you get that and it’s more than they need like they you know they had enough to
store up just from the few times that she went it was you know it was so much
that Naomi was impressed you know and so it was like almost this
purposeful you know blessing was left to her that more was left you know the servants were
commanded not to go and pick back up that which they dropped
um so she was blessed almost with a double portion of that from gleaning what was
left behind and so you know as we look at that type of redemption
um I want to turn to another passage let’s turn to Isaiah 52
and if you want to start reading at um verse 6.
uh let me see here I think it’s verse 6 until the end
okay six into the end okay therefore my people shall know what my
name is and what it means therefore they shall know in that day that I am he who
speaks behold I am how beautiful upon the mountains are the
feet of him who brings Good Tidings who publishes peace who brings Good Tidings of good who
publishes salvation who says to Zion your god reigns heart your Watchmen lift
up their voices together they sing for Joy for they shall see eye to eye the
return of the Lord to Zion Break Forth joyously sing together you waste places
of Jerusalem for the Lord has comforted his people he has redeemed Jerusalem the
Lord has made bear his holy arm before the eyes of all the nations and all the
ends of the Earth shall witness the salvation of our God depart depart go
out from there touch no unclean thing go out of the midst of her meaning Babylon
cleanse yourselves and be clean you who bear the vessels of the Lord for you
will not go out with haste nor will you go in flight for the Lord will go before
you and the god of Israel will be your rear guard behold my servant shall deal wisely and
shall prosper he ha he shall be exalted and extolled and shall stand very high
for many the servant of God become an object of horror many were astonished at
him his face and his whole appearance were marred more than any man’s and is
formed beyond that of the sons of men but just as many were astonished to him
so shall he startle and sprinkle many nations and Kings shall shut their
mouths because of him for that which has not been told them they shall see and
that which they have not heard shall they consider and understand
wow yes so I love this passage because really what it’s talking about is the
Redemption that God himself will redeem us and
um you know what is he redeem us from it’s all of that past stuff
um you know the things that happen to us as it would say in that passage in the
land of Egypt um you know what happened to God’s people and sometimes you know past
relationships are comparable to that it’s like we’re you know held captive in
another land and then finally you know there has to be a
Breaking Free from that relationship and I hate to put it that way but how true
is that sometimes you know where we’re stuck in this place of captivity
um within a relationship and as we break down this passage it
gives us some really good points um first you know we can look at the
waste places where are the places within that relationship that was wasted
you know was love wasted was time effort energy
things that we invested in and what’s the very next part of that
verse God Will Comfort so as we look at those waste places you
know write it out write out what was wasted in that relationship
um and then allow God time and space to bring comfort
to that um you know whatever that was whatever
that you know only you can Define that wasted you know what was wasted in that
in verse 11 we get the next Point um it says depart from all that is
unclean so that’s exactly what we’ve been working through with this fast
um to find what was unclean in that past relationship you know now’s the time
that you’re bringing cleansing to that you’re letting the Lord do that work of cleansing
um so you know continue to look through um you know we’ve looked through kind of
our own actions and behaviors through this fast but now let’s really look back
at those relationships um maybe it wasn’t necessarily things
you did maybe it was things you were subjected to by someone else so we’re
gonna you know make our list um Define what those are what was what
were the waste places what was unclean and then verse 12 it says purify
yourselves um you know we want to have vessels of Honor
so how do we purify ourselves we confess any sin
that may have been in that um you know whether we participated directly or indirectly
our sin can also be any places where we’re holding unforgiveness
um towards that individual for hurts or wounds that they may have created or
done um you know forgive them for the wasted
places forgive them for the things that were unclean
um and in that verse 12 It also says the Lord goes before
so let him go before you let him show you uh what you need to work through
and then verse 13 it says lift up the Lord you know so after you’ve confessed
after you’ve repented of those things that um you know you’re walking working
through that purifying process um spend some time praising the Lord
lift him up there’s a lot of you know if you don’t know where to start there’s a
lot of great Psalms that lift up the Lord um you know Psalm 29 is one of them
ascribe to the Lord glory honor strength um you know read through that
um as we continue we’re going to kind of enter the next few days into a fast
within a fast um and these are not food fast these are
you know fast of obedience that we’re doing um so Tracy if you would we’re going to
go back a little bit in Isaiah 52 and if you would read verses 1 through 3.
awake awake put on your strength o Zion put on your beautiful garments oh
Jerusalem the holy city for henceforth there shall no more come into you the
uncircumcised and the unclean Shake yourself from the dust arise
oh Jerusalem loose yourself from the bonds of your neck o captive Daughter of
Zion for thus says the Lord you were sold for nothing and you shall be
redeemed without money so powerful so how do we you know as we
make that list of what’s been unclean what are the waste places you know and
we confess that what does the Lord say further you know we’re really going to
spend the next few days making sure that everything
is finished in that list that we’re working through
um you know starting with verse one it says remove anything unclean
so we’re not just confessing it before the Lord we’re you know we’re
acknowledging we’re looking at it in light of how we currently behave and act
towards others um you know get rid of everything in your life that was that wasted place or
that unclean you don’t want to carry that into new relationships
so it’s time for it to go ask the Lord
to show you what has been unclean and then it says Shake the Dust off off
your feet um that was an actual physical sign that
they would do in Israel we see it several times in scripture one of the
first places we see it is in the Book of Genesis when lot is is literally like
removed from Sodom and Gomorrah and here we had
a righteous man that was in a very Unholy place you know the city of
Sodom and Gomorrah that was infested with um homosexuality
you know I mean it was so bad that these men were of Sodom and Gomorrah were
intent on you know breaking into lot’s home to have sex with the angels that the Lord
sent in to get him out of there and it says that even after you know
they tried beating down the door um and after you know lot told them you
know you need to leave they refused and they all gathered together
to the point where the angel struck him with blindness and if that had been me like I would have
stopped and been like whoa what’s going on right I need to think about what I’m doing but they don’t even stop they
continue to grope for the door and beat it down and that’s when The Angels Take
lot and they leave and it says that you know they took his family but as they
fled from the city his wife looks back in longing for the
city and it says she turned into a pillar of salt and um it says that you know they shook the
dust off their feet as they fled um that was a sign of you know
destruction uh to that City another place you know the Lord tells
the apostles that if you enter a city and they do not receive you you had to shake off the dust off your
feet and as you leave because it’s a sign of Destruction to them so you know
shake off shake and dust off your feet whatever those waste places were whatever that
uncleanness was shake it off you don’t want it anymore it says rise up and loose the chains of
you know what are the chains the chains are anything unclean anything unwicked lose it from yourself and loosing is
something that we do with our tongue where you know we say I loose you from
myself um whatever it is you know I’m just
thinking about the altars and the sins that we’ve been fasting over you know so prostitution you would say I
loose you from myself um you know unfaithfulness I loose you
adultery I lose you sexual immorality I lose you from myself
um you know sexual perversion sexual um uh what would the other one be
um transgressions I lose you from myself um you know I want nothing to do with
these sexual sins anymore or whatever was unclean let’s say it was resentment
or jealousy or Envy in that past relationship or control
manipulation boost it from yourself whatever it is
um you know so spend some time in prayer this week you know identifying what those waste
places are what’s unclean and then go through that process of of
asking the Lord to show you if there’s anything further literally shake the stuff your feet
um lose those chains and I love this last verse in that verse
3 where it says thus says the Lord you were sold for nothing
you know we enter into that captivity at no cost like you know we put ourselves
in the bondage that that’s a hard statement to grasp we
put ourselves in those bondage relationships you know we choose to go there
um some you know sometimes it’s we get stuck in it after we’ve entered in but
there’s things that we could have done along the way that would have safeguarded and and I want to clarify
like you know there are certain situations I’m not saying every
situation you put yourself there um I speak that specifically to some of
the rape situations um you know I want to be sensitive to that I’m not saying that you put
yourself there um things happen you know I’ll just say
things happen so ask for the grace if that’s your situation and we’re not
talking about those but we’re talking about those where you know if you’re
hanging out somewhere where you know you’re not supposed to be let’s say you decide to go into a homosexuality
homosexual bar or dance club that’s not a place where God wants you to be to
meet a spouse or to have a relationship you’ve put yourself there
uh the truth is that most the time you have to pay money to get in there
um you know sitting in front of your computer engaging in pornography you put
yourself there um it may have popped up on your screen there’s things that you can do to
prevent things from popping up on your screen stop using that as an excuse
um you have to click on the button to get in there right stop clicking on the
button you know you want to be done with the pornography turn it away you know
you want to have that in a real relationship there’s a woman out there
who desires that attention and desires to to meet those needs you know pray for
that that spouse that God wants to give you and you know for that right
relationship and so the Lord says you were sold for nothing
but here’s the grace you will be redeemed without money
the Lord’s not buying us back he redeemed us with his own precious blood
and you know that price has already been paid um there’s nothing that we have to do
other than saying Lord I receive your forgiveness I believe that if I confess
my sins that you cleanse me from all unrighteousness that’s really where the
Redemption is you know the Redemption without money that as we come he receives us as we
confess he forgives us and he cleanses us from all unrighteousness without any
money um we don’t have to earn it we don’t have to work it off it’s already done all we
have to do is receive so I would like to end there today
um and just offer that time right now just open your arms
lift up your hands to the Lord and say Lord I receive what you have done for me
there’s nothing that I have to do to earn it I don’t have to go out and work or be
perfect or already be cleansed to
receive what you have for me I receive it right now by faith and by belief
that you died on the cross for my sins every single one that you have paid the
price already that when you say in your word in Romans 6 that I have died with you and that you
have raised me up into new life I believe that and Lord I just step into
that new life that you have for me right now I ask you to forgive me for all the
unforgiveness I may have held over past relationships past hurts past wrongs
I forgive Lord I forgive them and I just receive Lord your forgiveness
and I want to start new I want to start at in that walking in a way where I have
right and righteous relationships before you and I want to be that clean vessel
and offer up my body as a clean vessel to do the good works that you have
prepared me to do we ask for this in your precious name Jesus and by the power of your blood
Jesus name we pray we thank you Lord amen thank you Lord thank you Jesse
well have a wonderful week and hang in there uh we’re gonna this upcoming uh
Wednesday we’re gonna break down um this last passage and this secondary
facet uh that we’re working on so keep working through those things this week
keep believing keep standing firm the Lord is cleansing and making us new

and her and their wives are found in a position where um you know

and so Naomi says to Ruth you know go and glean wheat behind the workers you

know in one of my kinsmen’s fields and so as we get into chapter two

now Naomi had a Kinsmen of her husband’s a man of wealth of the family of

elimelech whose name was Boaz and Ruth the moabitus said to Naomi let me go to

find favor Naomi said to her go my daughter and Ruth went and gleaned in a field

after the Reapers and she happened to stop at the part of the field belonging

to Boaz who uh who was of the family of elimelech and behold Boaz came from

Bethlehem and said to the Reapers the Lord be with you and they answered him

the Lord bless you then Boaz said to his servant who was set over the Reapers

whose Maiden is this and the servant set over the Reapers answered she is she is

the moabitish girl who came back with Naomi from the country of Moab

and she said I pray you let me glean and gather after the Reapers among the

sheaves so she came and has continued from early morning until now except when

she rested a little in the house so here we have this beautiful story and

you know Ruth doesn’t even ask to glean you know off the stalks like the workers

does she has to glean from the sheaves the things that are left on the ground

um you know the refuse that which would have been considered waste because it

had fallen on the ground and um in that as we go on it says then Boaz

said to Ruth listen carefully my daughter and do not go and glean in another field do not go from this one

but stay here with my Maids let your eyes be on this field to reap and go

after them indeed I have commanded my servants not to touch you and when you are thirsty go to the water jars and

drink from what my servants draw then she fell on her face bowing to the

ground and said why have I found favor in your sight that you should take notice of me since I’m a foreigner and

Boaz replied to her all that you have done for your mother-in-law after the death of her husband has been fully

did not know so just such a beautiful passage that

um you know there’s some truths in there that I think are important as we look at past relationships whether

you know whether you were married or not married um when we have a loss of a relationship

there’s grief that takes place there and what did Ruth do in her grief

um one we see that she didn’t stay alone she aligned herself with Naomi who also

was grieving um you know this isn’t necessarily In

this passage but I think you know what’s important is um especially if you know there wasn’t a

death that ended the relationship that there needs to be forgiveness

um of those ones of those past relationships and the second thing we see you know is

that the grief is acknowledged and the person who acknowledged it was Boaz you

know that that what you have done for your mother-in-law has been reported to

me and you left your family you left your people your land and you came here

to care for your mother-in-law and to stay with her so he he acknowledges her

grief and how important is that in our past relationships just or in our
13:41
current relationships to acknowledge that the other person may have past
13:47
relationships that there might be pieces that of that that they’re grieving right

and and to just say you know I acknowledge that grief I acknowledge
13:58
that you were hurt in the past I acknowledge the things that you went through and it doesn’t mean you have to

know all the details but even just acknowledging that that you you know

that there’s hurt there’s wounds there there’s things that are going to need tenderness going forward in a new

relationship um and Boaz you know in that Grace that he

extends to her he says don’t go don’t go to another field like you don’t have to

leave things are just you know you’re here you’re fine you’re safe and you

know I’m considering you not a servant but you have all the rights that they

have you’re free to whatever um you need if you need water if you you

know whatever you need um you know you’re considered among my servants where you can take the same

rights and privileges that they have um so really that was a Grace in those

days that um you know she didn’t have to glean for him or you know didn’t have to

do the work that the servants were doing yet she was afforded the same privileges

that they were so it was almost like he gave her free benefits you know and was like here here’s the benefits they’re

all yours um you know take what you need and

um you know there was no monitoring no anything because we know you know what’s

amazing in that is that you know the wheat that’s left behind is the hardest

to pick because it’s in the ground it’s you know in the cracks and the crevices

along the sides um you’re picking it up piece by piece instead of you know off a stock when you

do that you’re getting a whole bunch at one time and yet she comes home with so much that

Naomi is like oh my gosh where did you get that and it’s more than they need like they you know they had enough to

store up just from the few times that she went it was you know it was so much

that Naomi was impressed you know and so it was like almost this

purposeful you know blessing was left to her that more was left you know the servants were

commanded not to go and pick back up that which they dropped

um so she was blessed almost with a double portion of that from gleaning what was

left behind and so you know as we look at that type of redemption

um I want to turn to another passage let’s turn to Isaiah 52

and if you want to start reading at um verse 6.

wow yes so I love this passage because really what it’s talking about is the

Redemption that God himself will redeem us and

um you know what is he redeem us from it’s all of that past stuff

um you know the things that happen to us as it would say in that passage in the

land of Egypt um you know what happened to God’s people and sometimes you know past

relationships are comparable to that it’s like we’re you know held captive in

another land and then finally you know there has to be a

Breaking Free from that relationship and I hate to put it that way but how true

is that sometimes you know where we’re stuck in this place of captivity

um within a relationship and as we break down this passage it

gives us some really good points um first you know we can look at the

waste places where are the places within that relationship that was wasted

you know was love wasted was time effort energy

things that we invested in and what’s the very next part of that

verse God Will Comfort so as we look at those waste places you

know write it out write out what was wasted in that relationship

um and then allow God time and space to bring comfort

to that um you know whatever that was whatever

that you know only you can Define that wasted you know what was wasted in that

in verse 11 we get the next Point um it says depart from all that is

unclean so that’s exactly what we’ve been working through with this fast

um to find what was unclean in that past relationship you know now’s the time

that you’re bringing cleansing to that you’re letting the Lord do that work of cleansing

um so you know continue to look through um you know we’ve looked through kind of

our own actions and behaviors through this fast but now let’s really look back

at those relationships um maybe it wasn’t necessarily things

you did maybe it was things you were subjected to by someone else so we’re

gonna you know make our list um Define what those are what was what

were the waste places what was unclean and then verse 12 it says purify

yourselves um you know we want to have vessels of Honor

so how do we purify ourselves we confess any sin

that may have been in that um you know whether we participated directly or indirectly

our sin can also be any places where we’re holding unforgiveness

um towards that individual for hurts or wounds that they may have created or
22:48
done um you know forgive them for the wasted

places forgive them for the things that were unclean

um and in that verse 12 It also says the Lord goes before

so let him go before you let him show you uh what you need to work through

and then verse 13 it says lift up the Lord you know so after you’ve confessed

after you’ve repented of those things that um you know you’re walking working

through that purifying process um spend some time praising the Lord

lift him up there’s a lot of you know if you don’t know where to start there’s a

lot of great Psalms that lift up the Lord um you know Psalm 29 is one of them

ascribe to the Lord glory honor strength um you know read through that

um as we continue we’re going to kind of enter the next few days into a fast

within a fast um and these are not food fast these are

you know fast of obedience that we’re doing um so Tracy if you would we’re going to

Jerusalem the holy city for henceforth there shall no more come into you the

make that list of what’s been unclean what are the waste places you know and

we confess that what does the Lord say further you know we’re really going to

spend the next few days making sure that everything

is finished in that list that we’re working through

um you know starting with verse one it says remove anything unclean

so we’re not just confessing it before the Lord we’re you know we’re

acknowledging we’re looking at it in light of how we currently behave and act

towards others um you know get rid of everything in your life that was that wasted place or

that unclean you don’t want to carry that into new relationships

so it’s time for it to go ask the Lord

to show you what has been unclean and then it says Shake the Dust off off

your feet um that was an actual physical sign that

they would do in Israel we see it several times in scripture one of the

first places we see it is in the Book of Genesis when lot is is literally like

removed from Sodom and Gomorrah and here we had

a righteous man that was in a very Unholy place you know the city of

Sodom and Gomorrah that was infested with um homosexuality

you know I mean it was so bad that these men were of Sodom and Gomorrah were

intent on you know breaking into lot’s home to have sex with the angels that the Lord

sent in to get him out of there and it says that even after you know

they tried beating down the door um and after you know lot told them you

know you need to leave they refused and they all gathered together

to the point where the angel struck him with blindness and if that had been me like I would have

stopped and been like whoa what’s going on right I need to think about what I’m doing but they don’t even stop they

continue to grope for the door and beat it down and that’s when The Angels Take

lot and they leave and it says that you know they took his family but as they

fled from the city his wife looks back in longing for the

city and it says she turned into a pillar of salt and um it says that you know they shook the

dust off their feet as they fled um that was a sign of you know

destruction uh to that City another place you know the Lord tells

the apostles that if you enter a city and they do not receive you you had to shake off the dust off your

feet and as you leave because it’s a sign of Destruction to them so you know

shake off shake and dust off your feet whatever those waste places were whatever that

uncleanness was shake it off you don’t want it anymore it says rise up and loose the chains of

you know what are the chains the chains are anything unclean anything unwicked lose it from yourself and loosing is

something that we do with our tongue where you know we say I loose you from

myself um whatever it is you know I’m just

thinking about the altars and the sins that we’ve been fasting over you know so prostitution you would say I

loose you from myself um you know unfaithfulness I loose you

adultery I lose you sexual immorality I lose you from myself

um you know sexual perversion sexual um uh what would the other one be

um transgressions I lose you from myself um you know I want nothing to do with

these sexual sins anymore or whatever was unclean let’s say it was resentment

or jealousy or Envy in that past relationship or control

manipulation boost it from yourself whatever it is

um you know so spend some time in prayer this week you know identifying what those waste

places are what’s unclean and then go through that process of of
29:54
asking the Lord to show you if there’s anything further literally shake the stuff your feet

um lose those chains and I love this last verse in that verse

3 where it says thus says the Lord you were sold for nothing

you know we enter into that captivity at no cost like you know we put ourselves

in the bondage that that’s a hard statement to grasp we

put ourselves in those bondage relationships you know we choose to go there

um some you know sometimes it’s we get stuck in it after we’ve entered in but

there’s things that we could have done along the way that would have safeguarded and and I want to clarify

like you know there are certain situations I’m not saying every

situation you put yourself there um I speak that specifically to some of

the rape situations um you know I want to be sensitive to that I’m not saying that you put

yourself there um things happen you know I’ll just say

things happen so ask for the grace if that’s your situation and we’re not

talking about those but we’re talking about those where you know if you’re

hanging out somewhere where you know you’re not supposed to be let’s say you decide to go into a homosexuality

homosexual bar or dance club that’s not a place where God wants you to be to
31:38
meet a spouse or to have a relationship you’ve put yourself there

uh the truth is that most the time you have to pay money to get in there
31:48
um you know sitting in front of your computer engaging in pornography you put
31:54
yourself there um it may have popped up on your screen there’s things that you can do to

prevent things from popping up on your screen stop using that as an excuse

um you have to click on the button to get in there right stop clicking on the

button you know you want to be done with the pornography turn it away you know

you want to have that in a real relationship there’s a woman out there

who desires that attention and desires to to meet those needs you know pray for

that that spouse that God wants to give you and you know for that right
32:38
relationship and so the Lord says you were sold for nothing

but here’s the grace you will be redeemed without money

the Lord’s not buying us back he redeemed us with his own precious blood

and you know that price has already been paid um there’s nothing that we have to do

other than saying Lord I receive your forgiveness I believe that if I confess

my sins that you cleanse me from all unrighteousness that’s really where the

Redemption is you know the Redemption without money that as we come he receives us as we

confess he forgives us and he cleanses us from all unrighteousness without any

money um we don’t have to earn it we don’t have to work it off it’s already done all we

have to do is receive so I would like to end there today

um and just offer that time right now just open your arms

lift up your hands to the Lord and say Lord I receive what you have done for me

there’s nothing that I have to do to earn it I don’t have to go out and work or be

perfect or already be cleansed to

receive what you have for me I receive it right now by faith and by belief

that you died on the cross for my sins every single one that you have paid the

price already that when you say in your word in Romans 6 that I have died with you and that you

have raised me up into new life I believe that and Lord I just step into

that new life that you have for me right now I ask you to forgive me for all the

unforgiveness I may have held over past relationships past hurts past wrongs

I forgive Lord I forgive them and I just receive Lord your forgiveness

and I want to start new I want to start at in that walking in a way where I have

right and righteous relationships before you and I want to be that clean vessel

and offer up my body as a clean vessel to do the good works that you have

prepared me to do we ask for this in your precious name Jesus and by the power of your blood
