foreign
and welcome back to rise up and just a quick reminder that this episode today
is a continuation in the series fast of the fast from the four
in marriage foreign
marriages there we go ding ding ding I win a prize I remember what it’s called
oh my gosh in this particular episode though is really gonna hearken back to
two of them that that Jesse took us through and that was restoration of obedience and from last week new is
powerful which is amazing um so make sure that you catch those
episodes it spans both shows both rise up Wednesdays at at six no I’m having a
Blonde Day Jesse Wednesdays Sundays at six between rise up and
Riding the Storm so yeah you guys write it down and you’ll get it right so
anyway so we got we got this we got this because God’s got us so you know there
there you go um I think he mostly giggles at me though but um
so make sure that you go to kingdomlivingwithjessy.com to get your tickets for the filming of Rise of the
righteous which is the second set of courses coming out on Kingdom living with jesse.com again that’s March 24th
through 26th in Tampa just think of it all you that are stuck in snow you could
be in Tampa with Jesse and crew having a fun time learning about how to kick the
enemy’s butt so your choice just saying you should come on down there and also
we want to remind you that there’s an amazing book club that Jesse is doing on
Aquarius Rising Africa it’s on their patreon and it is for her book his
kingdom comes in power the battle so that book is available on Amazon and
then usually after they have done this on patreon then it eventually does come over to rumble right so that uh yeah
awesome awesome okay anything else we need to
hit up an announcements before we go on I think that’s great so
we want to you know the last on writing the storms uh on Sunday we covered you
know that we were Redeemed by love and um I wanna you know we’re always looking
at how can we build your skills how can we help you um learn how to use the tools that God’s
given us so today we’re going to be using our Strong’s Concordance I encourage you to get that out and get
your Bible out and we’re going to break down um
the last half of the uh Redeemed by love we went through
kind of a secondary fast and uh today we’re gonna break down the scripture
with that teach you how to do a little bit of a word bible study with that
so as we start I’m just going to kind of give you guys some pointers that have
always helped me out you know I first identified the passages that I want to do the word study on with
scripture so you know in that I broke down Isaiah 52 verses 1 through 3
and on my sheet of paper I just kind of list it out I kind of you know give one
line for each word that I want to look up so the words that I wrote down were
awake uh clothes beautiful
garments unclean Shake
rise up loose chains
uh sold nothing redeemed and money
and as you begin to look into these words um remember that the Strong’s
Concordance goes off of the new King James Version Bible so if you’re using the nasb or NIV or a
different version you may have trouble finding some of the words that you’re looking for
so if that happens I encourage you you know you can Google look online look up
Isaiah you know 52 verses 1 through 3 new King James and
um that will tell you the words that you need to look up uh for ones that you can’t find
so the first one we’re going to look up and how I do this I kind of
I’m going to look alphabetically first um you know I’ve written down each of those words I want to look into In this
passage and then now I’m gonna look up you know
in the Strong’s Concordance and find those words and put the numbers that I’m going to look up in the Hebrew
um right next to them and I kind of go in alphabetical order instead of you
know back and forth back and forth so um like with some of them you know we’re
gonna have they’re in the same letter of the alphabet so that saves you time if you just look
up and write up all the numbers and then you turn to the back and look up all the
meanings at one time I’ve done it the long way and it takes forever it’s so
good welcome to do it that way but I think this will save you quite a bit of time
so Trace if you want to look up the awake and tell us what the number is for
that and I’ll look up close
yeah and with clothes that’s one of those words we don’t get
um it doesn’t show up in the uh new King James as that so as I look at that verse
in the new King James instead of clothes that it or clothe that has put on
so I just kind of right on the side put on and that’s going to be number 38 47.
and I see that awake is 57 82.
okay and if you want to look up beautiful I’ll look up garments
okay and garments um shows up as 8.99
oh my goodness I should be doing this are you doing this electronically
I am not okay so you’re just better you’re just better and faster than me I’ve got it
right here okay okay I’m like I’m flipping and flipping so it’s okay
you know in the workout videos how there’s the one lady that’s like rocking and the other one’s got the cheater
this is me and Jesse right now she’s rocking it and for those of you that you know you can’t go as fast it is hard you
watch me okay oh my goodness this is so bad I’m
looking for it is beautiful right yeah yep you’re still looking up beautiful in
the meantime I have found it 97 85.97 okay
loose uh is 66.05 so write that down if you want to look
up um unclean I’ll look up shake
yeah all right so Shake is 52.87
and I’m going to also look up sold since I’m in the S’s
okay so unclean is 29 31.
okay sold is 43.76
43.76 yep and if you wanna
I’ll do rise up if you want to do chains
and rise up is one of those that um it does not show up in here so we go
back to the King James and for that it has
um a rise so I’m going to turn back to the A’s here and look up a rise
yeah I’ve got one and then I’m gonna have to look up because it doesn’t let
me see which one is it um
is that chains so I’m just gonna look up King James version okay and see what it has to say
and arise uh or the rise up is going to be
um 69 65
I’ll go on to the next one to nothing I’m still trying to figure out what
their other word is because I was going from the Amplified and mine look it up and just put in the
Isaiah 52 yeah new King James or 52 okay
and nothing is one of those also um it says in the new King James it’s
not n a u g h t
and that comes up as 43 76.
oh let me double check that because I have that sounds like soul I have sold is okay let me make sure I wrote that
down right um okay bands where did I have that I was
talking to you while I was doing some of that
okay and I’m gonna go with bands
see I just need to get my King James out
actually it doesn’t show up as not either
they spell it right 41.47 go back to that thing one 47.
okay so we’re still on not going back
let’s look up quick here again I can move on to another one if that is okay
assuming you didn’t do it already because you’re speedy which one are you
um you do redeemed already yes uh redeemed was
uh 13.50 okay 13.50
money unless you did that one we’re looking for not to or nothing
okay let me go and find
it says for you yourselves sold for
nothing that’s the new King James let’s look up
King James Maybe
um and if you go to biblegateway.com you
can type in a passage and then put like King just KJ behind it King James
um and then you would go to Isaiah like it will show all the books of the Bible and show it by chapters
and then you can go to Isaiah 52
yeah again this still says nothing oh it’s um oh it’s n o okay I don’t know
why I was thinking not the other spelling okay let me see if I can find it but I don’t see it in here it doesn’t
show up under and oh you say uh
let me see you find it oh there we go
2600 it’s 2600. okay where did you what did you find it
under it was under it was under um n o u g h t no okay I think I had an
a I had the exact I was doing the exact same thing and I was and oh you okay
and we’ve got redeemed okay so now what we do
we’re gonna um take team this off so let’s go back to the beginning and or we’re looking in
the Hebrew section in the back of our Concordance and
um the first one we’re gonna look up is awake
uh which is 57.82
and if you want to actually be looking up clothes uh of course I don’t have
that one that was the one I missed I’ll look at this one you look at awake I’ll do clothes then sorry about that no
that’s good I missed it I was still busy being the the slow
workout buddy
all right so whenever you got it I’ve got it yes
um let’s see so 57.82 with 57.83 through the idea of
opening the eyes to wake literally or figuratively
to stir to lift it’s used as awake 40 times
um let me see there’s wake raise arise
out and it says um to awake stir up Rouse oneself Rose and it says the first
usage in the Old Testament has the sense of rousing someone to action
which was a wake wake Deborah and judges 5 12. and I’m gonna see if it mentions
the Isaiah passage in particular I know that’s great so Rouse so it’s
kind of like you’re getting you’re opening your eyes you’re getting ready for action so I like that that that
brings that up like get yourself ready for action what is
um you know what is the action that the Lord wants us to take
um you know it comes in the next two verses uh twice you know it’s interesting that it says
awake twice Rouse yourself for Action twice and then twice it says put on you
know uh put on strength put on your beautiful garment so let’s look at those
um for the put on um or clothe yourself
38 47 um that is a prime root so it’s always
important when you’re looking you want to make sure that you’re looking at the prime root of that word or if it’s not
the prime root um you’re going to look at the meaning of that but then you’re going to also go
to the prime root and glean what that says further so this one is a prime root
so clothes literally means to wrap around
so it’s saying wrap around strength um
like apparel uh like clothing
um you’re going to put on or where
so you know literally it’s saying that this spiritual
the strength you’re literally putting on like a garment
um go ahead do you have the next one there yes I’ve got
um beautiful the 85 97 which actually comes from 62 86.
meaning ornaments um and it means Glory Beauty
ornament distinction and pride the word represents Beauty in the sense of the
characteristic enhancing one’s appearance and thou shalt make holy
garments for Aaron thy brother for Glory and for beauty that’s the first occurrence in Exodus 28
um let me see I’m just looking at some of the other usages here and that like it’s it is
mentioned in Isaiah but in a much earlier chapter uh in chapter four verse
2 the word identifies the fruit of the earth as the beauty or adornment so
there is that beauty adorning Glory again um
let me see I’m coming down Royal diadem Crown of Glory
let’s see and another interesting that it’s compared to uh Glory which is light
so we’re told to put on strength and light um
you know which it’s going to be referring back to the Lord’s the Holy Spirit
who is light who is might um
go ahead finish up that was essentially that but it does it
does say the word represents the honor also of a Nation this was one of the
particular usages they said it’s a Nuance um that is used of God to emphasize his
rank Renown and inherent Beauty uh with the reference being let me see
what this is from First Chronicles 29 11 dinosaur is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the Victory and the Majesty
okay so beautiful so if you want to look up
2931 and the next one is garments which is 8.99 and that just it comes from 898
uh which means to cover with a garment it also figuratively can mean to to act
covertly uh to pillage to deal deceitfully to
offend or treacherously um to depart
and Unfaithful or other meanings for that word
um you know it has the idea of of taking someone else’s garment
um through pillaging um so it’s interesting you know whose
garment are we to take on that strength and beautiful again I think that’s the Holy Spirit you know that we’re to
literally grasp on as though we’re almost like stealing that to say Lord
clothe me um in your spirit in these beautiful things
um
I’ll look up sake next so whenever you have yours go ahead yeah
for for unclean which is 29.31 the primary is 29.30 so it’s
coming from a word that means to be foul especially in ceremonial or moral sense
contaminated unclean defile pollute unclean mess so that’s the that’s the
root um and so in 2931 it’s that that same thing foul in a religious sense unclean
um so it’s used in Leviticus a whole lot as you can imagine because that book is
absolutely dealing with that um so most of this is in in the case of
of ceremonial uncleanness um but it is yeah a lot of it’s that but
I’m looking at other instances here
and even with the lepers having to announce their uncleanness as they went
okay yeah pretty pretty the pretty basic uncleanness kind of thing okay
well this one is really interesting
um for Shake um you know so we’re thinking about that
that unclean ritually um or Maybe
um morally contaminated and defiled right well the next word Shake
um it has the idea of rustling like when the Mane of a lion wrestles when he
Roars like when he shakes his Mane his hair like he shakes it Loose that’s
literally what that word means is to Shake it Off oneself like you’re shaking
your alliance Mane wrestling um so that moral contamination that
uncleanness you’re supposed to literally like shake off you shake your hair clean
I like it make your hair clean
all right you’ve got uh a rise for 69.65. yes and that is um that is a
prime root and it means to stand up rise up raise establish
yeah it really means to arise stand up come about
um so it is used in like motion getting up out of bed and and that sort of thing
um but it’s also let me see it’s used in an intensive mood to
signify empowering or strengthening um and there’s a reference from Psalm
119 28 strength and thou me according into Thy Word
let’s continue going ooh and in a military context it may
mean to engage in battle
well trying to find if there is a specific reference to Isaiah
52
yeah a lot with with commanding definitely in that military sense
yeah be empowered and and strengthened that’s that’s excellent oh love it yeah
definitely all right I’ll let you look up the 4376 for sold
for the chains of the band or the loosing
um it literally means to open wide to plow to carve to Break Forth
to put off or that sense of like you have armor on that belt of truth in your
ungurding uh you know letting all of that whatever has been around your waist
fall off um and and taking it off whatever that
weight just taking it off hmm I’m going to look up chains here which
is 41 47. this is great this uh one for for sold
it goes right back to something that you were teaching about before
um uh it says to sell um and it references merchandise a
daughter in marriage so into slavery or figuratively to surrender
um and the first the first reference of it in the Old Testament is just Genesis 25 31 and Jacob said sell me this day
thy Birthright there you go there’s there’s the reference wow so they’re talking about any anything that’s
tangible that can be sold um but then also of course for marriage
and more in the figurative sense of of betrayal
as well
to be given over to death wow
some people might feel like their relationships were like absolutely yeah
holy moly uh changes around the neck
um means like a restraint a band a bond it also can mean like a chastisement
um something that was put upon you uh for a punishment
all right if you want to look up 2600 I’ll look at 13.50
okay
it’s so good to get into the details of all of this like the scripture comes to life and
it’s just there’s so much more yeah I love the Hebrew because it paints such like each word paints a picture you know
there’s so much meat to each word as you really look at it you know
okay so 2600 is from 28.50
which is devoid of cost reason or advantage
let me see it’s used as without cause for not causeless in vain
free it says that it basically means for
nothing for no purpose useless without a cause for no reason
my goodness that’s some strong language yeah something that’s in vain or just no
purpose um there’s interesting reference here
so and like with without and Without a Cause um referencing first Samuel 19 5
wherefore then wilt thou sin against innocent blood to slay David Without a
Cause so it’s that whole like either without a cause or just
devoid of um devoid of cost so like you were not surrendered or
given over to death you know for for nothing not necessarily meaning money
but you know it wasn’t in vain it wasn’t causeless that’s right and what was the
reason or the cause that that you were sold um so that you could be redeemed which
um that word goes into you know the next of kin to buy back a relative
uh to marry a widow to deliver or an Avenger
so you know what all those things that happen to us
that may have seemed like we were sold you know to be surrendered or unto death the Lord
says no like it was all so that he could be Our Redeemer
um so how powerful is that incredibly powerful right so yeah so I just I love looking
at the actual meanings understanding how to do that as we do that we get so much
more to this passage that you know um
that were to you know definitely take action you know what does it mean to put
on strength and to put on beautiful garments you know these are spiritual
terms they’re not necessarily physical but yet we’re told to do it uh to put it
on and to shake off anything that’s unclean or unmoral
um we’re to rise up or to open up or break through uh ungurd from us any
chains or restraints because we weren’t surrendered we weren’t given over to
death for needlessly we have a redeemer uh who’s purchased us with his own blood
so looking over those things you know look through what are the chains what
are the unclean things in your life that need to be loosed and begin to pray through this
um what I love about the original language is this is is that we can easily turn this into a prayer
it gives us you know more things that we can pray or intercede so maybe let’s
practice that um maybe that first part Tracy
um up to the unclean uh why don’t you turn those verses into a prayer
foreign
Lord I Thank you that we together as the body of Christ are caught we are heeding
the call that you have put to us to wake up and to rise up so we will rise and
shine God and we will decide to take upon ourselves those holy garments that
you have for us that display your Radiance and your Splendor rather than
those things that would cause us to feel shame and guilt Lord we shake off those
things Lord we reject those things and we thank you for the garments and and
the blessings that you have for us Lord and then we do we shake off all of the
dust and all of the uncleanness everything that is foul that is in our
lives Lord we thank you that you strengthen and help us to do that Lord
as we continue going forward and losing ourselves from any darkness and from
from rejecting the chains and the bondages that try to come upon us Lord
for you are the one who has redeemed us and though it was as if we were sold
Lord that that would come to not in our lives and every plan of the enemy would
be devoid of all of its power for there is redemption that has come to us
there’s been a trading off that has happened and you Lord have wiped the
Slate clean and you have done this by the power of your own blood which is the
highest price that could ever be paid for us we thank you Lord in Jesus name
for that amen amen and Lord we just we rise up we
stand up we establish ourselves in your throne room and we ask that you will
Empower that you will strengthen us that we may be engaged in the battle Lord we
ask now that every chain every bond that has been around us every restraint that
it be loosed off we command it to be loosed off now in your Holy Name Lord we
ask to be BR that it would break free from us Lord for we know that we were
not surrendered we are not given over to death for you have said that you are a
god of life and we thank you for that Jesus and your powerful name we thank
you that nothing is done needlessly or in vain but that you have
redeemed us you have purchased us and we Proclaim that you are Our Redeemer
Kinsmen in this situation and we ask that you would continue to teach us Lord through your word how to
use your word in prayer teach us how to take the things that we learn and turn
them into powerful things that move mountains in our lives that break forth
um into songs of joy in our relationships Lord we ask that
um that no bonds or Bans or chains that have held us bound will
remain but we ask for those Redeemer Kinsmen relationships Lord that we may
go forward um let us also be those Redeemer Kinsmen in
in other relationships Lord let us be like Boaz who acknowledges the grief of
others past um Boaz Who provided a focus on you and
gave so graciously Provisions things that were needed for someone else to be
able to make it through that time of grief that time of transition from one
relationship to another let us be those that reflect your love in redeeming
others from those wasted and unclean places Lord we ask this in your precious
name Jesus amen amen amen
that is awesome and I’m thinking even to myself at the end of this because we had
to bring up Boaz today is that there are some folks that may need to hear wait
for your Boaz foreign like that
all right very good any party anything else before we wrap it up for today
that’s it be blessed this week there we go
foreign

3:19
the last half of the uh Redeemed by love we went through

3:31
with that teach you how to do a little bit of a word bible study with that
3:37
so as we start I’m just going to kind of give you guys some pointers that have
3:43
always helped me out you know I first identified the passages that I want to do the word study on with
3:51
scripture so you know in that I broke down Isaiah 52 verses 1 through 3
3:58
and on my sheet of paper I just kind of list it out I kind of you know give one
4:04
line for each word that I want to look up so the words that I wrote down were
4:10
awake uh clothes beautiful
4:16
garments unclean Shake
4:22
rise up loose chains
4:28
uh sold nothing redeemed and money
4:36
and as you begin to look into these words um remember that the Strong’s

7:55
this is me and Jesse right now she’s rocking it and for those of you that you know you can’t go as fast it is hard you
8:02
watch me okay oh my goodness this is so bad I’m
8:09
looking for it is beautiful right yeah yep you’re still looking up beautiful in
8:15
the meantime I have found it 97 85.97 okay
8:21
loose uh is 66.05 so write that down if you want to look
8:27
up um unclean I’ll look up shake
8:46
yeah all right so Shake is 52.87
8:53
and I’m going to also look up sold since I’m in the S’s
9:08
okay so unclean is 29 31.
9:17
okay sold is 43.76
9:23
43.76 yep and if you wanna
9:29
I’ll do rise up if you want to do chains
9:48
and rise up is one of those that um it does not show up in here so we go
9:56

um 69 65
10:59
I’ll go on to the next one to nothing I’m still trying to figure out what
11:06
their other word is because I was going from the Amplified and mine look it up and just put in the
11:12
Isaiah 52 yeah new King James or 52 okay
11:25
and nothing is one of those also um it says in the new King James it’s
11:31
not n a u g h t
11:37
and that comes up as 43 76.
11:47
oh let me double check that because I have that sounds like soul I have sold is okay let me make sure I wrote that
11:54
down right um okay bands where did I have that I was
12:02
talking to you while I was doing some of that
12:09
okay and I’m gonna go with bands
12:16
see I just need to get my King James out
12:24
actually it doesn’t show up as not either
12:30
they spell it right 41.47 go back to that thing one 47.
12:42
okay so we’re still on not going back
12:53
let’s look up quick here again I can move on to another one if that is okay
13:00
assuming you didn’t do it already because you’re speedy which one are you
13:07
um you do redeemed already yes uh redeemed was
13:17
uh 13.50 okay 13.50
13:27
money unless you did that one we’re looking for not to or nothing
13:33
okay let me go and find
13:39
it says for you yourselves sold for
13:45
nothing that’s the new King James let’s look up
13:50
King James Maybe
13:59
um and if you go to biblegateway.com you
14:05
can type in a passage and then put like King just KJ behind it King James
14:12
um and then you would go to Isaiah like it will show all the books of the Bible and show it by chapters
14:20
and then you can go to Isaiah 52
14:25
yeah again this still says nothing oh it’s um oh it’s n o okay I don’t know
14:35
why I was thinking not the other spelling okay let me see if I can find it but I don’t see it in here it doesn’t
14:42
show up under and oh you say uh
14:48
let me see you find it oh there we go
14:53
2600 it’s 2600. okay where did you what did you find it
15:00
under it was under it was under um n o u g h t no okay I think I had an
15:09
a I had the exact I was doing the exact same thing and I was and oh you okay
15:17
and we’ve got redeemed okay so now what we do
15:22
we’re gonna um take team this off so let’s go back to the beginning and or we’re looking in
15:31
the Hebrew section in the back of our Concordance and
15:36
um the first one we’re gonna look up is awake
15:43
uh which is 57.82
15:52
and if you want to actually be looking up clothes uh of course I don’t have
15:57
that one that was the one I missed I’ll look at this one you look at awake I’ll do clothes then sorry about that no
16:06
that’s good I missed it I was still busy being the the slow
16:12
workout buddy
16:17
all right so whenever you got it I’ve got it yes
16:24
um let’s see so 57.82 with 57.83 through the idea of
16:33
opening the eyes to wake literally or figuratively
16:39
to stir to lift it’s used as awake 40 times
16:47
um let me see there’s wake raise arise
16:52
out and it says um to awake stir up Rouse oneself Rose and it says the first
17:02
usage in the Old Testament has the sense of rousing someone to action
17:09
which was a wake wake Deborah and judges 5 12. and I’m gonna see if it mentions
17:16
the Isaiah passage in particular I know that’s great so Rouse so it’s
17:22
kind of like you’re getting you’re opening your eyes you’re getting ready for action so I like that that that
17:28
brings that up like get yourself ready for action what is
17:34
um you know what is the action that the Lord wants us to take
17:42
um you know it comes in the next two verses uh twice you know it’s interesting that it says
17:48
awake twice Rouse yourself for Action twice and then twice it says put on you
17:54
know uh put on strength put on your beautiful garment so let’s look at those
18:03
um for the put on um or clothe yourself
18:09
38 47 um that is a prime root so it’s always
18:16
important when you’re looking you want to make sure that you’re looking at the prime root of that word or if it’s not
18:23
the prime root um you’re going to look at the meaning of that but then you’re going to also go
18:28
to the prime root and glean what that says further so this one is a prime root
18:34
so clothes literally means to wrap around
18:39
so it’s saying wrap around strength um
18:45
like apparel uh like clothing
18:51
um you’re going to put on or where
18:57
so you know literally it’s saying that this spiritual
19:02
the strength you’re literally putting on like a garment
19:07
um go ahead do you have the next one there yes I’ve got
19:13
um beautiful the 85 97 which actually comes from 62 86.
19:21
meaning ornaments um and it means Glory Beauty
19:28
ornament distinction and pride the word represents Beauty in the sense of the
19:34
characteristic enhancing one’s appearance and thou shalt make holy
19:39
garments for Aaron thy brother for Glory and for beauty that’s the first occurrence in Exodus 28
19:47
um let me see I’m just looking at some of the other usages here and that like it’s it is
19:53
mentioned in Isaiah but in a much earlier chapter uh in chapter four verse
19:59
2 the word identifies the fruit of the earth as the beauty or adornment so
20:04
there is that beauty adorning Glory again um
20:10
let me see I’m coming down Royal diadem Crown of Glory
20:16
let’s see and another interesting that it’s compared to uh Glory which is light
20:23
so we’re told to put on strength and light um
20:28
you know which it’s going to be referring back to the Lord’s the Holy Spirit
20:33
who is light who is might um
20:39
go ahead finish up that was essentially that but it does it
20:46
does say the word represents the honor also of a Nation this was one of the
20:52
particular usages they said it’s a Nuance um that is used of God to emphasize his
20:59
rank Renown and inherent Beauty uh with the reference being let me see
21:05
what this is from First Chronicles 29 11 dinosaur is the greatness and the power
21:11
and the glory and the Victory and the Majesty
21:16
okay so beautiful so if you want to look up
21:24
2931 and the next one is garments which is 8.99 and that just it comes from 898
21:34
uh which means to cover with a garment it also figuratively can mean to to act
21:42
covertly uh to pillage to deal deceitfully to
21:49
offend or treacherously um to depart
21:55
and Unfaithful or other meanings for that word
22:00
um you know it has the idea of of taking someone else’s garment
22:07
um through pillaging um so it’s interesting you know whose
22:13
garment are we to take on that strength and beautiful again I think that’s the Holy Spirit you know that we’re to
22:20
literally grasp on as though we’re almost like stealing that to say Lord
22:25
clothe me um in your spirit in these beautiful things
22:31
um
22:37
I’ll look up sake next so whenever you have yours go ahead yeah
22:44
for for unclean which is 29.31 the primary is 29.30 so it’s
22:52
coming from a word that means to be foul especially in ceremonial or moral sense
23:01
contaminated unclean defile pollute unclean mess so that’s the that’s the
23:08
root um and so in 2931 it’s that that same thing foul in a religious sense unclean
23:17
um so it’s used in Leviticus a whole lot as you can imagine because that book is
23:23
absolutely dealing with that um so most of this is in in the case of
23:29
of ceremonial uncleanness um but it is yeah a lot of it’s that but
23:36
I’m looking at other instances here
23:46
and even with the lepers having to announce their uncleanness as they went
23:57
okay yeah pretty pretty the pretty basic uncleanness kind of thing okay
24:05
well this one is really interesting
24:10
um for Shake um you know so we’re thinking about that
24:16
that unclean ritually um or Maybe
24:22
um morally contaminated and defiled right well the next word Shake
24:30
um it has the idea of rustling like when the Mane of a lion wrestles when he
24:36
Roars like when he shakes his Mane his hair like he shakes it Loose that’s
24:42
literally what that word means is to Shake it Off oneself like you’re shaking
24:47
your alliance Mane wrestling um so that moral contamination that
24:54
uncleanness you’re supposed to literally like shake off you shake your hair clean
24:59
I like it make your hair clean
25:06
all right you’ve got uh a rise for 69.65. yes and that is um that is a
25:15
prime root and it means to stand up rise up raise establish
25:24
yeah it really means to arise stand up come about
25:30
um so it is used in like motion getting up out of bed and and that sort of thing
25:37
um but it’s also let me see it’s used in an intensive mood to
25:45
signify empowering or strengthening um and there’s a reference from Psalm
25:52
119 28 strength and thou me according into Thy Word
25:58
let’s continue going ooh and in a military context it may
26:05
mean to engage in battle
26:11
well trying to find if there is a specific reference to Isaiah
26:17
52
26:23
yeah a lot with with commanding definitely in that military sense
26:33
yeah be empowered and and strengthened that’s that’s excellent oh love it yeah
26:40
definitely all right I’ll let you look up the 4376 for sold
26:46
for the chains of the band or the loosing
26:51
um it literally means to open wide to plow to carve to Break Forth
27:00
to put off or that sense of like you have armor on that belt of truth in your
27:06
ungurding uh you know letting all of that whatever has been around your waist
27:12
fall off um and and taking it off whatever that
27:18
weight just taking it off hmm I’m going to look up chains here which
27:24
is 41 47. this is great this uh one for for sold
27:32
it goes right back to something that you were teaching about before
27:37
um uh it says to sell um and it references merchandise a
27:45
daughter in marriage so into slavery or figuratively to surrender
27:53
um and the first the first reference of it in the Old Testament is just Genesis 25 31 and Jacob said sell me this day
28:02
thy Birthright there you go there’s there’s the reference wow so they’re talking about any anything that’s
28:09
tangible that can be sold um but then also of course for marriage
28:14
and more in the figurative sense of of betrayal
28:20
as well
28:26
to be given over to death wow
28:32
some people might feel like their relationships were like absolutely yeah
28:38
holy moly uh changes around the neck
28:43
um means like a restraint a band a bond it also can mean like a chastisement
28:52
um something that was put upon you uh for a punishment
28:59
all right if you want to look up 2600 I’ll look at 13.50
29:06
okay
29:13
it’s so good to get into the details of all of this like the scripture comes to life and
29:20
it’s just there’s so much more yeah I love the Hebrew because it paints such like each word paints a picture you know
29:27
there’s so much meat to each word as you really look at it you know
29:34
okay so 2600 is from 28.50
29:42
which is devoid of cost reason or advantage
29:48
let me see it’s used as without cause for not causeless in vain
29:56
free it says that it basically means for
30:01
nothing for no purpose useless without a cause for no reason
30:10
my goodness that’s some strong language yeah something that’s in vain or just no
30:17
purpose um there’s interesting reference here
30:25
so and like with without and Without a Cause um referencing first Samuel 19 5
30:32
wherefore then wilt thou sin against innocent blood to slay David Without a
30:38
Cause so it’s that whole like either without a cause or just
30:43
devoid of um devoid of cost so like you were not surrendered or
30:50
given over to death you know for for nothing not necessarily meaning money
30:56
but you know it wasn’t in vain it wasn’t causeless that’s right and what was the
31:03
reason or the cause that that you were sold um so that you could be redeemed which
31:11
um that word goes into you know the next of kin to buy back a relative
31:18
uh to marry a widow to deliver or an Avenger
31:24
so you know what all those things that happen to us
31:30
that may have seemed like we were sold you know to be surrendered or unto death the Lord
31:37
says no like it was all so that he could be Our Redeemer
31:44
um so how powerful is that incredibly powerful right so yeah so I just I love looking
31:51
at the actual meanings understanding how to do that as we do that we get so much
31:57
more to this passage that you know um
32:04
that were to you know definitely take action you know what does it mean to put
32:10
on strength and to put on beautiful garments you know these are spiritual
32:15
terms they’re not necessarily physical but yet we’re told to do it uh to put it
32:22
on and to shake off anything that’s unclean or unmoral
32:28
um we’re to rise up or to open up or break through uh ungurd from us any
32:36
chains or restraints because we weren’t surrendered we weren’t given over to
32:41
death for needlessly we have a redeemer uh who’s purchased us with his own blood
32:49
so looking over those things you know look through what are the chains what
32:54
are the unclean things in your life that need to be loosed and begin to pray through this
33:01
um what I love about the original language is this is is that we can easily turn this into a prayer
33:08
it gives us you know more things that we can pray or intercede so maybe let’s
33:15
practice that um maybe that first part Tracy
33:21
um up to the unclean uh why don’t you turn those verses into a prayer
33:32
foreign
33:38
Lord I Thank you that we together as the body of Christ are caught we are heeding
33:44
the call that you have put to us to wake up and to rise up so we will rise and
33:51
shine God and we will decide to take upon ourselves those holy garments that
33:58
you have for us that display your Radiance and your Splendor rather than
34:03
those things that would cause us to feel shame and guilt Lord we shake off those
34:09
things Lord we reject those things and we thank you for the garments and and
34:15
the blessings that you have for us Lord and then we do we shake off all of the
34:21
dust and all of the uncleanness everything that is foul that is in our
34:27
lives Lord we thank you that you strengthen and help us to do that Lord
34:33
as we continue going forward and losing ourselves from any darkness and from
34:39
from rejecting the chains and the bondages that try to come upon us Lord
34:45
for you are the one who has redeemed us and though it was as if we were sold
34:52
Lord that that would come to not in our lives and every plan of the enemy would
34:59
be devoid of all of its power for there is redemption that has come to us
35:05
there’s been a trading off that has happened and you Lord have wiped the
35:10
Slate clean and you have done this by the power of your own blood which is the
35:17
highest price that could ever be paid for us we thank you Lord in Jesus name
35:25
for that amen amen and Lord we just we rise up we
35:31
stand up we establish ourselves in your throne room and we ask that you will
35:37
Empower that you will strengthen us that we may be engaged in the battle Lord we
35:43
ask now that every chain every bond that has been around us every restraint that
35:50
it be loosed off we command it to be loosed off now in your Holy Name Lord we
35:55
ask to be BR that it would break free from us Lord for we know that we were
36:01
not surrendered we are not given over to death for you have said that you are a
36:08
god of life and we thank you for that Jesus and your powerful name we thank
36:14
you that nothing is done needlessly or in vain but that you have
36:19
redeemed us you have purchased us and we Proclaim that you are Our Redeemer
36:25
Kinsmen in this situation and we ask that you would continue to teach us Lord through your word how to
36:32
use your word in prayer teach us how to take the things that we learn and turn
36:39
them into powerful things that move mountains in our lives that break forth
36:46
um into songs of joy in our relationships Lord we ask that
36:52
um that no bonds or Bans or chains that have held us bound will
36:58
remain but we ask for those Redeemer Kinsmen relationships Lord that we may
37:04
go forward um let us also be those Redeemer Kinsmen in
37:10
in other relationships Lord let us be like Boaz who acknowledges the grief of
37:17
others past um Boaz Who provided a focus on you and
37:24
gave so graciously Provisions things that were needed for someone else to be
37:30
able to make it through that time of grief that time of transition from one
37:36
relationship to another let us be those that reflect your love in redeeming
37:42
others from those wasted and unclean places Lord we ask this in your precious
37:48
name Jesus amen amen amen
37:53
that is awesome and I’m thinking even to myself at the end of this because we had
37:59
to bring up Boaz today is that there are some folks that may need to hear wait
38:05
for your Boaz foreign like that
38:12
all right very good any party anything else before we wrap it up for today
38:17
that’s it be blessed this week there we go
38:28
foreign
